Daylight robbers. They were the other solicitors in the purchase of a freehold and they were significantly more than the cost of our solicitors. They were so extortionate our solicitor felt the need to challenge them and we had to get a breakdown of the costs ... and that makes some reading! Some of the time allowances for the most basic of emails are laughable. Stay away!

Well laid out offices. Went for a seminar which was very well attended.

Can't give enough stars for how Raj handled a purchase through to Exchange. Always accessible and continually looking for solutions, she is a great asset to Penningtons Manches.

Incredibly slow! My solictior requested information 6 weeks ago and after chasing them constantly the information STILL hasnt been passed over. Have delayed my house sale, NOT happy.

They once charged me for an unsolicited courtesy call they sent me. That sums up how I feel about them.

The Madrid office get 5 stars without hesitation. They listned to what I wanted and then recommended another company more local to me, and cheaper. No fees applied. That's an honest service! For the London office, I had an initial enquiry but the person who returned my call was very thorough and made sure I understood everything. Would be five stars but they had to be reminded to return the call after a week or so.

I was frantically trying to find a firm of solicitors to take on a case of potential medical negligence and to challenge the outcome of a Coroners inquest into the death of my wife . Someone contacted me immediately from Penningtons and did a most thorough job of taking the details concerning the case and Mr Kyriacou who deals with these matters promptly sent me an email and arranged to call me. Mr Kyriacou did indeed call me and despite not being able to take on my case without all the relevant evidence , was most helpful and knowledgeable , I would like to thank him for his condolences, his honesty and his time spent discussing the matter with me .

If I ever had the money to get married and get divorced again, I would use these chaps. Saying that, if I did have the money I would probably take the time from work, do a law degree conversion and then specialise in family law and still be better off (if I passed that is). Nice view from their meetings rooms too.
