These people are slow and unorganized I spent way to much time for them to continue to keep messing my renter rebate up I had an appointment and see was not seen on time due to there over booking just so upset I literally stayed in this building passed closing do to them messing up never once did I get a sorry we apologize for the inconvenience nothing just disrespectful then they had the nervous to get mad at me when I ask how much when I had been there for more then 6 hours already sad and bad business

I have done my taxes through them for 2 years now. It s a bit of a wait because there are always a lot of people there, but I am always pleased with the services and it is well worth the wait!

I love the help of my taxes, they're very professional, and doesn't take too long. Thanks a lot.

As an international student from Canada, this was my first year filing taxes in the U.S. I was very worried about this process, scrambling trying to look up different services to help with my taxes. I found Prepare + Prosper and signed up for an appointment. The process was seamless, fast and easy. Everyone was very friendly and the man who did my taxes was awesome. I filed early, and will be receiving my refund soon. Overall EXCELLENT experience and would recommend this service to others.

From the time I sat down with the tax preparer, I was put at ease. The preparer was helpful, informative and professional. And best part, my appt was complete in less than a 1/2 hour. If I had done them myself, it would take far longer and be frustrating. Come prepared and the session would be a benefit to you.

Prepare and Prosper always does a really excellent job on my taxes. I appreciate their service more every year. They offer financial assistance and banking as well as savings info and help. They are professional, eager to help and easy to work with.

They had overbooked for the 7:15pm time slot, and I probably wasn't seen until 7:45pm. I had two years of returns to file, albeit very simple ones. They were completed and audited and e-filed by 9:30pm. I was very impressed with the speed and thoroughness with which my returns were completed. Had a personable and kind young woman who prepared my returns who was more than competent, though she kept on telling me that it was her first year working as a tax preparer, though it was just plugging numbers into the computer. In preparing my returns she found a glitch in the system that needed to be resolved. All in all, a very satisfying experience. I am happy to recommend Prepare + Prosper, and I'll use them again next year. Save yourself the trouble and hassle of waiting, and make an appointment at one of the locations that accepts appointments!

They never call back they lie and say leave a call back number you won t loose your place in line then never call back I ve called so many times!!!

I had a wonderful experience. It was fast efficient and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

I would of given 5 stars but I'm not sure I liked the lottery system after checking in. But then maybe that was my mistake for waiting till the last minute to file. Besides from that my experience was 5 stars everyone was very nice and explained everything as they went along. I hope to use your service again next year

I've been going through P+P for three years filing my taxes. I always have a good experience and my taxes are always done properly. The only complaint I have is the length of time it takes for preparation.

This is a wonderful service I am very impressed and happy that this is a free service available for me to use. The appointments are easy to get they are very helpful and will answer questions regarding your personal tax situation.

The process was okay from start to finish, but would have gotten out of there sooner if preparer had done a particular calculation correctly. the checker had to go back and re-do a portion, giving me a lesser amount of refund. Received one of my refunds about two weeks afterwards, still waiting on the other. They had snacks but could have been better!

I did my taxes here this year and everyone was amazing! I qualified for their free service, which is done by volunteers, and even though they were super busy by the time my appointment came around, they took the time to ensure everything was done correctly and that I got the best return possible.
Not only was the service amazing, the atmosphere here is really positive; you can tell that the people working here love their job and love to help others. Even under the stress of having loads of clients, the volunteers were really up beat and just having a great time!

I highly recommend this place.

The folks at Prepare and Prosper are a wonderful group of professionals who give up their own personal time, to help those of us who don t have the advantage of hiring our own tax preparer, and I am so fortunate to have found them! My preparer was able to explain exactly what needed to be done, and then helped me do it - right then and there; even filing it electronically at the end of my appointment! They treat their clients with understanding and respect, and I recommend them highly!

I was treated with great respect when filing my Renter's Rebate. I chose to put the refund into a Savings Acct being set up for me. I never heard back from the bank & I have no idea where my refund will be going. I could use your help on this. I did not have my Social Security Card with me, I had been told not to carry it. I had had taxes prepared by Prepare & Prosper for the previous three years & had the last two years filings with me. This complicated matters, but everyone that was involved to resolve this issue, were very gracious.
I would greatly appreciate your help.

Amazing organization that provides invaluable service to those that need it most.

Worse place ever to have your taxes done. If you come in with more than one W-2 or an amendment you might as well turn around and go home. The volunteers here can't handle "complicated" taxes. They'll make another appointment of you at a different branch and then that location won't be able to help you either. And forget about calling in advance, you'll here nothing but a recorded message.

I'm grateful for the help, the encouragement to save (my first savings bond!), and their patience as I had to reschedule because I was missing a form.

I went here two weeks ago and it was such a pleasant experience! Although, it does take on average 3-4 hours, I think it is worth it. The staff is friendly and they walk you through everything to ensure you understand your taxes. They also offer other free financial services, which you can talk about with another staff member while you wait for your paperwork to be processed. I would definitely recommend this services to others who are eligible. Fantastic place and convenient location!

The woman who prepared my taxes was professional and friendly. It took a lot longer than expected and I had to leave in a rush. When she finished my taxes I was supposed to be getting about $3,000 back. After the second reviewer finally finished my taxes, I just signed the paperwork and left. Once I reviewed it, I was only getting over $800 back. I have no idea what happened there. I made an attempt to contact someone, but wasn't able to get ahold of anyone to find out what happened and why my refund was 1/3 what it was supposed to be.

Sheri was patient, thorough and humourous. Whoever thought doing taxes could be an enjoyable experience ? Also spent time with the table of financiaall "detectives " , who located the source of what was ruining my credit history. Highly recommend!

They mean well but really don't know what they are doing. I had my taxes re reviewed and walked away with a refund instead of owing.

My advice use credit karma or one of the other free tax prep services available on the web. Tons of free options you can do at home or an a PC in privacy and its really easy after doing it once.

waited for hours with my small children to be told they could not help me. my tax situation was not difficult at all...basic w2s. i ended up filing myself.only gave 2 stars because the people were nice. never going back. wasted my time.

I was referred here by my university and have been getting my taxes done here ever since, 3 years strong! The volunteers are very nice, financial management services offered year round as well!

My fiance and I went there last yr and this yr. We spent 3 hours only to find out that they had done our taxes wrong this yr which brought to our attention the fact that they did our 2016 and 2015 taxes wrong when we came ther last yr now we owe the irs for the refund we got last yr because they did them wrong you get what you pay for. Don't go there pay to get them done so you can guarantee thry are done right!!!

All I know is I'll be back next year. They were good on preparing it and got it back exactly when they said.. the people was very sweet. It might of been a long process but it was well worth it. Thank you

I thought this would be a good program when I came in they refused to help me with my renters rebate, on a walk in. Keep giving me the runaround they say they can help me but I have to set an appointment

No one ever answers the phone there. I've been calling for 2 days now. Call after 10am all you want no one will answer!

The volunteers who prepared my taxes were a delight!! Everyone was so friendly and really went above and beyond, and I thank them for helping me out during my first time doing taxes in Minnesota. 100% recommend this program.

I am so upset with this place. They did my taxes and didn't accurately do them I was missing documents so the IRS contacted me and my taxes were incomplete and I still haven't received a stimulus check. IRS website says its missing information still.

This year was so much better now that they take appts only, less stressful , no hours long waiting and still not getting seen. Everyone was nice and helpful, and best if all shorter visits.

Everything from check in to filling went smoothly. The only drawback was the wait time for the preparers to do second look reviews.

Very happy with the experience at Prepare & Prosper. My tax preparer was on top of things -- asking for information and completed my paperwork in a short time. Was happy I found this organization -- did not cost me money that I don't have to do my taxes. -- Really only filed Rent Credit paperwork as i am a senior and live only on my Social Security. Missed having the tax preparers that usually do my tax work for me at the St Paul Public Library thought I could figure it out on my own but wasn't able -- again, I would not hesitate to have Prepare + Prosper assist me in the future.

Horrible service very rude, nasty to the elderly ethnic groups. People who work here who do the tax they are very mean to people. They are very disrespectful African American elderly , Hispanic elderly and anyone they think can.

When they say be ready for it to take 3 -4 hours, they mean it. However, it's time well spent. Documents are done accurately and it's free. The volunteers are all very polite. The waiting room can be busy so just bring a book or something to write or crocheting... whatever you like. You'll leave with a smile. I did.

Horrible Horrible HORRIBLE!!! Do NOT use this company!! I never received my card and it has been over 12 business days!!!!!!!!!!! The company never answers the phone or returns my calls. I'm starting to question the integrity of this place . I called and expidited my card to my address and i am being charged an extra 25$ to do so after their mistakes!! There is an immense lack of sympathy and professionalism. My 21st day is fast approaching with no card in hand. Please do not make the mistake of trusting this company!!! I am miserable from all their stress!

Irresponsive customer service that takes more than a week to reply to any inquiry, and their response are absolutely useless--they give information with a lot of "we might" "perhaps" 'maybe' which never address the problem of the client. Arrogant and annoying customer support--never even appear to be apologetic when they took 9 days to respond.
