Would rate this company in the negatives if possible.

They sold us a van for $8,000 that lasted no more than 6,000kms and the motor blew up...it was going to cost more to fix than we had brought it for.

We went back to Preferred Auto's and they didn't care at all, they had there money as we paid cash and wiped there hands of it completely.

The mechanic we took it to said that they would have known about the problem at the time of selling too.

I would never recommend this company to anyone.

We recently purchased a Toyota Noah van from the lovely guys Peter, Bob and Paul from Preferred Autos at Arundel. Their service was outstanding and very professional and accommodating, we were able to ensure that our daughters motorised wheelchair would successfully fit into the back of the Noah using the inbuilt customised ramp, a perfect van for our needs. Our daughter Katie is thrilled with her new found independence that her new van brings and so are we! Thankyou very much, we highly recommend Preferred Autos for buying and selling cars. Excellent and friendly family owned business.

I'm not one to often rate a 1 star but when our dealings with this place put the safety of our family at risk I wish there was a -star.
We brought a vehicle from here 2 months ago and have just had to replace the wheel bearings...no biggie right. But when our mechanic told us the reason why the wheel bearing went, made me sick to the stomach. The wheel was not tightened correctly and became loose! We had been happily driving around with our 2 year old in the car. First felt something wrong while on the Logan motorway. Even checking for a possible flat. Nope...the wheel was trying to come off!!!!
Even more, the way in which this company responded to our situation was unreassuring and dismissive. Will not recommend this place...ever!

I wish I could give this business less stars, I bought a car with Pete at preferred autos, two days after I bought it it broke down, pete assured me this was fine and it was just a auxillary battery needed replacing, he had it fixed ... Or so I thought.
The truth is this car has been broken since the day I bought it with the same error code and disabled system as the first day it happened. I can't fix this car because the dealers can't figure out what's causing the fault. I called in numerous times and sent letters alerting him that he had sold me a broken car, he did nothing but brushing the problem aside casually. I have a disability and needed this car for medical appointments, preffered autos
doesn't care. I spent $10000 to have a broken car and spend more trying in vain to figure out what's wrong with it
Will never recommend this shop to anyone.
(Edit) and then this company replies to a good review and doesn't even care that they have ruined my chance at getting healthy and having a life

Got sold a lemon. Problems with the car soon as I got it. Conveniently 'forgot' the terms of our agreement. Do not deal with these people.

5 star sales service.
1 star after sales service. Loose wheel nuts at time of purchase damaged the wheel bearing and needed to be replaced.
Mechanic advised wheel was about to fall off.

Called to discuss statutory warranty and was fobbed off on every front.

Absolutely terrible, if i could go negative feedback i would. Sold me a complete dud. All the car was "makeshifted" to fit, constant knocking over bumps which i asked if they checked it out and they said they had 3 mechanics say it was just the suspension but its all good, my fault for not getting it checked, took it to pedders to lower it and the gave me the old struts back and turns out they were out of a completely different car and the holes were drilled out to fit. This car yard is why car saleman have a bad reputation. Never buy here.

Brought a car off these guys had nothing but problems with it, iv spent thousands repairing it.
I wouldn't recommend buying from here.
