Incompetent staff, very rude and unproffessional. Id rather not write a novel about this place, lets just let the other bad reviews speak for themselves.

If I could give a zero I would lucky for them Google maps only lets them get one through five I was on the phone for a survey that I pre-qualified for about iced coffee when I got on the phone the lady on the other end never told me that both of my numbers needed to add it up to 100 she tells me one was 58 and the other was 45 that I would have to do the math on my own to fix it so when I try to explain it to her she proceeds to tell me how I am lucky that she is even doing that then she puts me on hold shortly after that hangs up on me CAN'T BELIEVE THEY let their workers treat people like that and let me include the date that this happened was September 8th 2017 and the time was 3:37
A nice place to do market research. The staff members are all very nice. I enjoyed participating in market research here. I hope to be back soon.
Love doing consumer surveys! I rarely qualify. One hour & you give your opinions & you get paid!
Decent place for surveys , but they don't payout very much !!
Stop calling my house, they called three times in one night until I answered. Then it was a man with an Indian accent. I said who is this he said Precision Research. The caller ID at least comes up as "Opinion". That is why I did n't answer it the first two times.
I like them a lot and I have done several different surveys with them over the years from food to laundry supplies and have had only one problem and that is the fact that I may not qualify for every study.
wasted countless hours of my time.
I had hopes of making some extra money for months and not once i qualified for a study or research. You guys just prey on people and use them to build a research study for personal gain. Tens of thousands of questions i answered on your stupid surveys and not once did i qualify. Shame on this company do not go here or subscribe to them. they are a straight fraud
Very good studies. Staff is great. Clean, nice, inviting place. Incentives great.
Great way to make some extra cash. Give you opinions and get paid to do it.
Precision Research is a company that recruits people for market surveys and research. During this process they interview you via e-mail and also via phone asking numerous profile questions regarding you and your habits that can last several minutes. This provides them with a lot of personal data. I was contacted by them for an alleged study at their office in Des Plaines, whereby I went through a lengthy screener and I answered numerous questions upon afterwards I was told that I qualified and they made an appointment with me. Just a few minutes later, I got a call back saying that they were cancelling my appointment because the study was filled. This seems highly suspicious because while the woman was interviewing me, she asked to put me on hold while she checked on something with the staff. When she came back, she did confirm that I was eligible and set up the appointment. So why wasn't it determined that all slots were filled when the interviewer put me on hold to check with the staff and/or why wasn't that slot held for those few minutes? Something doesn't seem right here. I think Precision Research is dysfunctional, disorganized, inept and disrespectful of respondent's time. I think this is an unethical practice and I wonder if they are mining people's data even after they've filled quotas.
Precision Research needs to modify their business practices, be more ethical and be respectful to their respondents/clients.
After countless online surveys you occasionally qualify and have to give them a call. They ask about all your personal details, asks same questions that were asked in an online survey and after 30 mins of phone conversation apparently you don't qualify. Now that's frustrating. If you have given online survey and have qualifed, why you have to go through same questions again and you give same answer but you don't qualify. It's waste of time and they'll gather your personal information through phone call. Rarely you do get picked and get decent money but mind you they have limited time that you have to accommodate and if you work full time it is hard unless you have a day off or you are in that region.
Very professional personnel. It was a pleasure to be a part of their research.
Went to my first Precision Research focus group, was promised $85 for a session. At the end, the ~30 of us lined up to get our payment, a sealed envelope with cash inside. I opened it on my way out and counted the money, then counted again--$75! I stopped and asked the person behind me to count theirs, and they had $75 too. We ALL only got $75. We all went back to the office, not terribly upset as mistakes happen, but they tried to tell us the amount was correct and we were only supposed to be paid $75. We all pulled out our phones and showed our texts and emails that said $85. The employee behind the counter begrudgingly told us to sit down while she figured it out, and we had to wait around 10-15 minutes right before rush hour to get the $10 owed to us. Since traffic built up heavily during our wait, I got home 30 minutes later than I would have if we were paid what was owed the first time, and of course none of us received extra compensation for our time, just a monotone "sorry for the mix-up". Precision Research still came out ahead money-wise, as I don't think the first several people to be paid realized the error before leaving.
I wonder how often they pull this sort of stunt--I would give them the benefit of the doubt if they had owned up instead of trying to treat US like the swindlers, but....if you decide to go anyway, COUNT YOUR CASH!
Incredibly rude staff, you will spend hours completing surveys and discussing your answers over the phone and rarely qualify for the surveys (even though the online surveys say you qualify). If you fill out the questions online and might qualify, be prepared to be bombarded with phone calls about calling back to see if you qualify. Once in a year you might qualify for a survey and then you get to deal with the negativity from the staff in person.
There are better alternative Focus Group companies you can utilize for a much better experience.
Lady hung up on me. For no reason. Lazy workers don't wanna do there job
Precision Research is NEVER to contact me about any future studies. I was told by Tim, simply to show up at 6PM for a study. Tim made no mention of me needing to bring my vehicle or that it would be used for the study.
I show up in an Uber, which costed me $20. The receptionist tells me i cannot participate because I did not bring the car, which I was never asked to. I tell her that I understand that I cannot participate, and only wish to be compensated for my travel cost, since the error of miscommunication was not my own.
After thirty minutes of this woman rudely asserting that this is my fault for not being a psychic, I leave empty handed, having wasted 90 minutes and $40. This behavior is the peak of unprofessionalism.
Great research facility with fantastic hospitality and customer service.
Efficient and we'll-run. They used to have a good selection of snacks in the waiting area, but the last time I was there, there was pretty much nothing, not even coffee
Precision Research I found to be very unpleasant!! I work in the healthcare industry and one of their employees asked if she could call my job (I have a valid Nursing license, State ID, Dipolma, College transcripts and work ID) this is definitely not professional. Ive always given information to their screeners over the years and never qualify. Something is definitely wrong with this organization. Ive dealt with Market Research organizations for many years and have never experienced this. I dont know what they are doing with the info they gather, but this is definitely not a reputable company in my opinion.
First survey I have taken. Staff was courteous and helpful. I enjoyed the experience.
If you are looking to get called to do some focus groups, go online and register yourself in the database for this marketing research facility. It is well run, clean, easy parking, easy in and out. It is just north of O'Hare Airport.
Great company, instant payment if you get selected for a panel!
Tried to take a survey here and when the guy called me to ask the questions he was extremely rude to me, will not be participating in anything here.
Market research and food testing facility. Went to eat a sandwich and got paid to do it.
