i sent my laptop to be repaired before Christmas l...

i sent my laptop to be repaired before Christmas last year. They notified me that it would be fixed within two weeks the laptop is still in repair and they have told me i would have it by early march. This is unacceptable for me to wait 3 and a half months. I need this laptop for school and it is very unorganized because they were supposed to send the part to the repair place and they forgot to do so. In the end do not get your own acer laptop repaired at acer because they are unreliable and take to long.

Ordered a factory refurbished Acer C27 i5 computer. Very good communications and the computer is as new, beautiful. Very satisfied with the service and postage, very quick. Will advise Acer to my friends.

I never experienced any issues with products from Acer. I always like the design and performance. Prices are in the expensive side for the items a purchased over time but they had very goodspecifications and were often innovative.

Laptop under warranty needed service. Very complicated process. Needed to call ACER three times due to confusion. Waited very long to be answered. Packing instruction pdf file finally arrived but could not download. Needed to call ACER again.

Worst customer service, foreign call centre so hard to understand, computer dead after 6 months, apparently they can't fix it because they have no mother boards, mmmmm how do you make computers. Would give 0 stars if that was an option.

I won t buy any computer from ACER!! Service is terrible!! They hadn t called me back for 5 weeks since I left my desktop at the service center!! I CALLED AND I FOUND THEY HAVENT DONE ANYTHING SINCE THEN THEY WANTED ME TO PAY AND START TO REPAIR!! WHAT A GOOD SERVICE!! 5 weeks!! Terrible!!

I wish to share with whoever will deal with the ACERSTORE in NSW. I had dealings and bought 2 acer laptops and had email dealings with the store . I had many questions as I am not familiar with laptops, questions were totally answered promptly and seeing I was a pensioner I asked and got a discount. Now all that said I ordered and paid for my purchase on Wednesday 28/10/2020 @ 3pm , it was delivered to me the next day in the close country @ 9:50am... I was expecting the delivery to be made hopefully by the following Monday. How's that for service ?? and me...very happy

Quoted me to get the screen fixed on my acer switch alpha 12 tablet $720 I got a genuine screen fitted and installed for $300 avoid these guys they are useless have no idea and just want your money.

I really think it's disgusting that a reputable company like acer would allow such a travesty to operate I feel so sorry for those who have been conned by these rats...if I could give them zero stars I would...

I have an Acer 8" Tablet, had it for about 3 years & the Battery needs to be replaced, the woman I spoke to is located in the Philippines, it is hopeless chatting to them, as she had no idea, kept telling me the warrant has expired !!! Hello I never asked about that. There is No Service center for Acer in Australia apart from one in Melbourne.

Appon completion of order all correspondence re invoice, shipping etc was conducted very promptly and professionally. Also as the item I had ordered and paid for was currently out of stock Acer very kindly offered an alternative, upgraded model as substitute. Very happy with service.

Obfuscated and difficult to deal with. My monitor ...

Obfuscated and difficult to deal with. My monitor broke down, so I lodged a ticket to get it repaired, and was asked to ship the monitor to Acer. I requested the address to drop it off myself since the monitor is 34" / 10KG, but they refused and repeatedly told me it needed to be shipped to a designated repair centre.

After a lot of back and forth I finally agreed, and upon receiving the consignment, noticed that the monitor was being shipped to a destination less than 30 minutes away from me... But I still had to pay $50 for a box, packing peanuts, and bubble wrap.

14 days later repair was completed, Acer stated "no fault found", despite providing picture evidence of the issue (long blue line on the monitor). Acer also refused to take the monitor's power supply because "accessories are not required", despite part of the issue being related to the monitor randomly turning off.

Finally, I requested that i pick up the monitor myself from the repair centre, as Acer previously damaged one of my monitors that they repaired some time ago, and i wanted to visually inspect it before accepting the repair. Acer promised me a call back twice and I have yet to hear anything. Attempted calling the Parramatta office to speak to them directly, but they refused and referred me back to the Indonesian customer service team and I simply can't make any progress. Garbage support.

We purchased laptops feb 18
March video card failed we hota new laptop replacement
Not long after same problem they couldn t replace it as it was discontinued we paid extra money to get current model
October the hinges failed causing screen failure
Took back to Acer
Waited four weeks for a response despite calling them every week with the promise of a call back it did not happen
After many calls they said they would give a store credit
However this would not be enough to get laptop with same specs

I rang Acer and said this is unethical that I have to pay more

I spoke to a manager ersan Ahent
He asked me to explain the problem I was explaining problems when he stopped me and said shut up and listen to me
I said excuse me
He said he s very busy and he has taken time to solve my problem I then told him that I no longer have ish to speak to him about the problem and could I escalate it to his manager
He got quite angry I said I don t want to speak to you and hung up the phone
He continued to ring my phone 2nd call I advised home that you are harassing me and I m not comfortable with that
12 phone calls later in the matter of ten minutes
I rang Acer but no manager was available so rang head office Taiwan and spoke to pr department
Things then moved very quickly
I spoke to David king and he said he would fix my problem then he would investigate his staff

Later he called me back and said he has organised a credit that would enable us to get laptop with same specs and it would take 2 days

2 days later I rang retailer they said Acer still hasn t sent updated credit
I rang David and told him that this has not been forfilled could you get on to staff to solve problems

David became defensive saying we have done our job and I was wrong

I said to him could you please call store manger to confirm this as my son has end of year exams

He called me back still upset saying that manger is not available and he was waiting for a call back

After I heard that time we dicided not to use there products and purchased a dell laptop

This took up around 8 hours of my time

Avoid Acer at all costs. I am sure every positive review on here has been purchased and coming from people who have never dealt with Acer.

The customer service is appalling + most of their practices in terms of the repair process do not comply with consumer law (ie are illegal). After paying over half the original cost of the laptop to get it repaired and trying to get through to someone who knew what was going on so many times, after 7 weeks they finally told me they could't source the part needed (on a 2.5 year old laptop) and that they would send it back to me and refund the repair amount. It's been over three weeks and I still haven't received the refund. I ended up driving to the repair centre and picking up the laptop because I didn't even trust them to send it back to me. Needed the laptop for my job working from home and for school, so had to buy another laptop as to not jeopardise my work and grades + have been an extra $550 out of pocket for the last 10 weeks during a pandemic. Great, thanks.

Purchased an acer spin for $400 and had an issue with the screen. I contacted acer direct who then wanted $80 just to assess. Laptop was sent away and was informed $329 to fix the screen. What a joke!!!! For a few dollars more can buy a whole new laptop. They DONT care about their customers once they get your money!

Well, they actually foreign call center, but still helpful and kindly. But I feel disappointed when I want to activate extension warranty. The website on manual is fail, error 404 seems they close Acer care server, but Acer Singapore, Acer USA, Acer Taiwan extension warranty online service still working.. My previous laptop was ASUS, I only spent 5 mins activated extension warranty online, but today I rung for Acer customer service for 20-30 mins work on same thing. That's huge difference experiences between those two brands, although Acer phone service are friendly and helpful even they are foreign call center.
Be honestly, I prefer ASUS customer service than Acer, especially ASUS Perth branch.

Just got sent a damaged product. Laptop screen was cracked upon opening the box. Customer service was absolutely disgusting. Transferred over and over again to different departments for nearly an hour and finally referred to a store in Melbourne that was not related to retailing acer products. There were no concern in any of the staff of my issue and they did not offer me a refund at all but just a replacement unit. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. New laptop broke after a month of purchase and it has been 3 months going back and forth trying to get a repair. At the moment I have no idea where my laptop is. Customer service is horrendous!!! Not happy and will not be buying ACER products in the future

Damaged my unit when replacing the screen. Refused to accept responsibility, tried to blame Australia Post, despite box being unmarked. Evident that damage was done by the technicians tools. Offered to repair the unit, something that should of been done when they damaged it, and have me be without it for another 2 weeks. Paid close to $300 to replace the screen and got a damaged unit and used scratched screen. Refused any financial compensation. Absolute joke of a company. Wish I'd never purchased and Acer product and never will again. Would leave 0 stars if I could.

They couldn't replace broken hinge on my Acer cbook, after 10 days they returned it unrepaird. They don't have the hinge, which btw broke after 18 months. I had to pay quote for repair on the first day, now I have to wait 2-3 weeks more for refund, for my money.
Thanks Acer, but never buying you again.

Repair service is almost as pathetic as their computers bought an Acer swift laptop it s not even a year old keeps shutting down wont work Unless the charger is plugged despite having full battery then as soon as you take the charge out boom turn black and won t work even with the charger in it turns off after an hour has been to be repaired with two times already and they claim it s been fixed when the same problem Just keeps happening again it s absolutely pathetic.
