Eric, a tech, came over to do a job. He proceeded to go into the crawl space and there were some boxes in there. Not really a big deal, right? Apparently it was a HUGE deal. He incredulously commented that I was ill-prepared for him to come down. He said he drove 1 HOUR to get to the home to perform his job. He said that they aren't allowed to touch personal effects because they won't be liable. That's fine. I said I would clean out the crawl space. It took me 10 minutes. Literally. I commented about how I didn't appreciate the condescending tone he took with me. And so he decided he would call his company. I spoke with an indignant woman who insisted that they treat all their customers with respect. I told her that she was not there and couldn't possibly know the situation. I understand her desire to protect her employee, but without information she was just shooting in the dark. Needless to say I was furious with how both of them acted, and to top it off I just wanted to end the job. She decided instead of trying to rectify the situation she would hang up on me.

As someone who is 70 years old I don't tend toward getting upset. So writing something like this is not easy. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt, but two people acting as entitled as these two warrants a review.

Eric B came out on a Sun and replaced our broken water heater. He originally came out Sat but had to get to Denver for parts after talking through options for our hot water heater. We have really bad quality well water and Eric gave us an option that should hopefully be more reliable over time. Precision kept the warehouse open so he could get parts late Sat to return early Sun morning to take care of the job. Eric communicated everything clearly and got the job done within 20 min of his estimated time. Everything looks great and we have hot water again. Really appreciate Dee who took the call Sat and made sure someone could get out as soon as possible.

Really quick response. Sent their tech Brian out im 30 minutes when i called early in the morning.

He resolved the issue quickly and went out of his way to help assure my concerns about any leaking pipes etc.

Ken the technician was on time, knowledgeable and professional. He fixed my clogged garbage disposal, figured out what was wrong with the hot water tank and fixed that and now I'm waiting on a quote to replace a bathroom sink. I highly recommend precision.

These guys are crooks. I had them out to my house to look at a dripping faucet and was told it would be $700 to repair it but I really needed to replace it for over $3000. Called another plumber who told me how to fix it over the phone in less than a minute by myself. I know it sounds unbelievable but this actually happened.
I think their estimate consisted of sizing me up and judging how much money they could get out of me. They should be arrested and jailed for this kind of crap.

Jacob was efficient and friendly and answered all my questions. I m very satisfied with the work done by Jacob.

Cory Mleynek could not have been more cheerful and polite. He is an excellent technician and problem solver who successfully installed my whole house humidifier this morning. He's the best!

Consistently overpriced--tried to charge us $1000 to replace a $100 sump pump that took less than an hour total to fix. Tech never did actually look to see what the problem was, however, so had to go back in and fix the actual leak two weeks later. When confronted, they couldn't care less that we were unhappy.

If you want the highest prices and customer service that is geared to keep piling on the expense, this place is for you.

Aaron H. is very polite, honest, thorough, professional and knowledgeable. He detected the leakage problem in our basement and informed us of the probable cause. He got right to it in repairing the broken pipe. We will always call on this company for all our plumbing, heating, cooling and electrical needs.

Everyone at Precision from Julie the receptionist to each and every technician are caring, patient and very competent. We always get quality service. Thanks to everyone at Precision and Happy Holidays. BTW- Josh was early and finished in record time. The faucets are beautifully done.

We have used Precision Plumbing in the past years and always been happy. I initially called to have my gas line reconfigured after I purchased a new gas range. Jerry was able to quickly assess and solve my problem with a flex hose. While checking what appliances needed to be shut down and restarted pilot lights, John noticed my old and very corroded water heater! I had noticed dark partials in my tub water but didn't realize that they were from the inside of my water heater. THANK HEAVENS for the heads up before it failed, leaked or even flooded my basement. They were able to get me a new unit and install it with the new safety standards, better placement next to my furnace, and so quickly. John explained everything with great thoroughness, care and made sure I understood what was happening and what the final product was. I never felt taken advantage of or pressured. I appreciate the professional care and skill John gave to my repair! I would most certainly recommend John with Precision Plumbing to everyone! Thank you Precision Plumbing!

My elderly aunt had her plumbing back up in the shower and tub, Her daughter who lives out of state called Precision plumbing. John K. came out and was extemely polite and helpful. Once he took a look at the situation in the crawlspace and showed the pictures he took, he made some proposals and explained things not only to me and my aunt but also explained to her daughter on the phone. He went above and beyond to make sure my aunt understood and was comfortable with the proposal and work he did and he didn't give the impression he was taken advantage of an elderly person. There should be more people like John.

Precision did right for us however based on a radio advertisement we thought we were calling PlumLine for a clogged drain. It is our understanding that PlumLine s offices were closed therefore calls were being forwarded to Precision. The price advertised to unclog the drain was not anywhere close to the price being charged by Precision. Ken Precision s on-site Plummer noticed the need for a new water heater which we were aware of and the fact the home did not have a pressure reduction valve in order to warrenty the heater. We were able to negotiate a fair price with Ken who performed all the work. Ken was very professional, understanding of the contractor switch and did a thorough job including cleaning up after the job was completed.

Aaron came to fix a big gone wrong mess for me! He was amazing talked to me and told what needed to be done! Got s quick appt and he was here and took time to make it right! Very friendly. Guy did a great job replacing my water heater. He explained options but was not pushy, did great work, and cleaned up completely. I will hire these guys for my next plumbing job.

One of the worst plumbing businesses I have ever worked with. They really over charge and try to rip you off at any expense as long as their profit margins are high. Their mark ups are up to 500% and labor costs at $200 an hour. That is ridiculous. Furthermore two of my appointments were canceled for which I had to take time off. The accounting people are rude and incompetent at best, but likely malicious and ill willed instead.

After having left my initial review, I got a series of harassing and threatening calls/voicemails from the company. Very unhappy with these people, and will never do business again with.

Josh was awesome ! He actively listened to additional concerns outside of his scope of work today. He provided valuable feedback and estimates for the other work I need to eventually get done. He completed the reason for my call QUICK and cause little disruption to my day. He was polite and an all around good guy. Thank you Josh

I called Precision when my furnace went out. The dispatcher was the most friendly woman who took all the information and within an hour or so I had this wonderful young man arrive smiling and energetic and clean. He was a total pro, went straight to work, testing my furnace. Within minutes he had a fairly accurate determination of what needed to be done. He gave me a few scenarios from least problematic to worst case scenario. We decided together the best course of action. I ok d our decision to place the part order and hopefully the job would be completed within one days time. Within an hour I had the estimates in my email inbox. Every time I ve worked with Precision, it s been the best experience and I would highly recommend them. I wish all companies for all of life s problems were like Precision. They are a great example of good business!

These guys cancelled an appointment on the day and could only offer another appointment two weeks away. I didn't have enough time to book another appointment before leaving for an extended trip. I explained my predicament and they didn't care one bit. Breathtaking arrogance. We used these guys for years and this ends the relationship. Their service seems to be a victim of their success.

Mark W. was so helpful! He was able to explain the problem, as well as the solutions, in ways I was able to understand. He didn't try to force me to buy anything I wasn't comfortable with. Mark was very professional and knowledgeable, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

Precision has been to my house three times for different services, and they were able to fit me in on the same or next day, which was very rare and helpful. Although they aren't the cheapest option available, they warranty their services and products, and their service is unparalleled. Recommend!

We had an amazing experience with this company. Jacob installed a water filter in our kitchen. He was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, patient with my questions, and all around awesome. This was a seamless and lovely experience. I will definitely be using precision plumbing for all plumbing needs.

One of the master bathroom sinks was leaking and I called Precision Plumbing, because I've used them 3 times before for other plumbing issues. Tyler analyzed the problem and gave me 5 different options to fix the leak. I chose the option that best fit my budget and Tyler did the repair quickly and efficiently. Also economically -- he accepted a $50 coupon from the Precision website. I've always been happy with the plumbers from Precision. Every one of them has been knowledgeable, courteous, skilled and reliable -- plus they arrive when they say they will. I highly recommend Precision Plumbing.

Ken was really nice but didn't use the service. Should have known when they wouldn't even give me a ballpark figure when I made the appointment for snaking a slow running drain. It was over 4 times what I regularly pay. I get it done once a year as a preventative. Usually takes less than 10 minutes. Won't be calling them again.

Your Technician, Andrew Haws, is one of the best professional, knowledgeable, and courteous experiences we have encountered when dealing with service industry personnel. He went out of his way to provide a detailed explanation and options to help solve our plumbing problem.
He was respectful as it relates to how he conducted his work within our home and got the job done with minimal disruption. His honesty, integrity and eagerness in customer relations shine through in every aspect of his work.

Joshua fixed our flood. Can't want more than that. When he left, at 10pm, we had water again -- but this time, not coming through the ceiling of our basement.

We're repeat customers of Precision and will be again the next time we have a heating or plumbing need.

Ryan is great! He was very professional, polite, and knew exactly how to fix the issues we were having.

Ken M. arrived ahead of schedule, looked over the situation, solved the problem and all was well. Good job.

Ken arrived promptly and was very helpful in explaining my options for a repair versus replacing my disposal. He completed the work in a neat and efficient manner.

If you are looking for a fair price for plumbing services, then I would advise you to look elsewhere. Precision sent a plumber to my home to give me an estimate for switching from a conventional water heater to a tankless one, and while the guy was very professional, the price quoted was extremely high (almost $8,000). The tankless water heater that they install retails for around $1,300, so that means that they are charging well over $6,000 for labor, a permit and a few additional parts. I also asked him how much it would cost to replace the faucet in my kitchen (not the whole sink, just the faucet), and he quoted me a price of over $1,000, which is highway robbery. This is something that takes less than an hour to do, so I bought a nice Kohler faucet from Home Depot for $150 (which included tax) and paid a handyman $65 to install it, so my total cost was less than $250. I've also starting looking elsewhere for quotes on tankless water heaters, and so far, everyone else is significantly less expensive. While I'm sure that Precision does good work, I will definitely not be calling them again.

I'm always impressed with Precision's employees -Chris Waltz is no exception!!! He was early, professional and advise me of future preventive maintenance - thankfully no hard selling. Thanks Precision!

I scheduled an appointment first thing in the morning for an emergent issue. They called an hour before they were supposed to show up and canceled me. Left me in a real bind Going into the weekend. Beware!

Love that they came out the same day, and didn't charge extra because it was such a quick fix.

I noticed a leaky valve on the side of the house. I called Precision and they were out here on time and fixed the problem in less than an hour. Just what I wanted.

Brian of Precision Plumbing did a great job today. The work we had for him took about three hours. He is very personable so he was enjoyable to have around the house. There were two projects that he completed today and they were all finished very professionally. Everything was cleaned up before he left. Thanks Brian.

Our water heater went out on a saturday and a holiday weekend. Precision Plumbing were able to get me on the schedule first thing on a Tuesday. Ryan Williams was our service technician and did a great job in replacing the water heater and updating the piping, etc. I highly recommend using Precision Plumbing for all plumbing needs. Precision Plumbing will always be the the one we call for our tankless water heater and plumbing issues. It didn't take long for James to find the problem was not our Rinnai system, but rather a small recirculating water tank we had had replaced by another plumber two weeks ago. Lesson learned!

A/C Unit install. All work and cleanup done on time and on budget. Great work!

Andre came in and fixed our 18 yr old furnace and didn't try and up sell us on a new unit. He was honest and timely.

John K was GREAT to work with. He came out and provided a free estimate for different hot water heater replacements and toilets. He was flexible around my schedule and was very prompt and responsive. He is very personable and genuine. He gave me the advertised discount without me printing out coupon and asking for them and signed me up for an annual service plan which saved me a bundle with its discount. Without a doubt, I will ask for him by name in the future if anything comes up.

I am really upset with this company. Their only interest is in getting your money. I have over 10K $ worth of work done by them. I have the TLC membership and last year asked the Plummer to fix my toilet leak. He said he would write an estimate and in his email there was no mention of what it was going to cost to repair the leak but he had estimate of several updates I needed to do to my plumbing. This year I had problem with my kitchen faucet not shutting off fully . It was a different Plummer but he said you have to shut it off in a certain way. I was not home so he left without fixing the problem and now it is so difficult to shut the water off completely. I know all he had to do was replace the washer or something.
Their electrician isn t any better. I had all of my outlets in the kitchen not workin and their electrician said I needed to buy all new outlets. He was going to send me the quote but have not heard from him in several weeks so I called another electrician. All that was needed was to reset the fuse! I know nothing about plumbing and electricity but am glad I found this other guy who was so honest. BEWARE! DON T LET THIS COMPANY FOOL YOU.

Tried to give you no stars but it will not post it so you get one star when in fact you should get no stars.You are not returning phone calls or just simply e-mailing my request. I do not want to hear any apologies as I have paid for a service and am legally entitled to an actual receipt. Signing on a laptop and handing you a check is not my receipt and I should not have to get a copy of my check to show I paid for services.(My check does not state the work performed) It is simple. Just do what you say you are going to do. Technology today allows you to do this simple request within minutes.

Precision Plumbing recently repaired a water leak in the ceiling of my home. They were on time for both appointments (estimate and actual work performed), and completed the work promptly. Pat and Ken were professional, courteous and explained what they were doing each step of the way. They replaced furniture, and cleaned up after themselves. They both did a great job and I would highly recommend them and Precision Plumbing.

Had a water leak in the wall of our house. Sean from Precision Plumbing came out and within an hour or so, had the problem found, repaired and cleaned up. Great service for a reasonable price. We have used Precision for most of our plumbing, ventilation, and electrical and have been happy with their work.

Our furnace died on a very cold day and we were desperate to get help. Sam at Precision came out within an hour of my initial call, diagnosed the problem quickly and replaced the furnace immediately. Charles was wonderful. explaining everything. Wonderful personality. took his time. Juan was with him. Both so polite efficient clean. Amazing!! Today Charles came for a checkup on a recently installed compressor etc. of course he did an amazing job. In addition I had an additional problem with a clogged valve which he diagnosed and fixed... Charles is amazing!!! You are fortunate to have him and he certainly deserves a special bonus for excellence on the job!!!!!!!

The work was done in a timely manner. I was however told there would be no diagnostic charge and with the items being bundled I am not aware of what that charge would be. It did take a while to diagnose but the actual work took less than an hour.

Jake Duncan is very skilled, confident, and nice kid! He seems to be some kind of electrical prodigy... He gave me excellent recommendations and advice and fixed several items that were clearly a fire hazard. We have a100 yo home and it us difficult to find electricians who understand the old systems as well as ways to modernize and protect without tearing down the home.
He is a gem and I hope Precision can hang on to him!

Here s the short review: Precision is extremely professional and courteous and do very high quality work. They are a bit more expensive, but because of the quality of work they do, we found them cheaper in the long run.

Here s the longer review: Over the 28 years we have lived in this small farm in Boulder County, we have used numerous plumbers and electricians. The good independent electricians we used were very good but got so busy that we could never get them back. The first plumbing company we used was great until they changed owners and then they became expensive and did poor work. All the independent plumbers we used were cheaper but ended up costing us a lot more money in the long run. For example, we built a barn that was partially insulated and heated with a boiler. The boiler was put in wrong by a small independent plumber (seemingly much cheaper) and kept failing in cold weather and the pipes would burst (3 separate times!). After a few years later the boiler failed completely. The independent could not fix the problems over those years. I hired Precision and they diagnosed the problem, showed me how and why it failed and gave me options. The best option was a new boiler after only 5 years on the old. I had them do it, It was expensive, but I have not had a moments problem since. The electrical work is fast and high quality. They give accurate estimates. They are very punctual and usually available even on short notice. They explain everything before and after. They re very personable. They are pricier than some alternatives, but in my experience, worth every penny to have things done right the first time. So not the cheapest you can find, but far higher quality, easy to work with, available when you need them, and cheaper in the long run because of their reliable workmanship. I recommend them highly.

Love it when a contracted service provider calls on the day of the appointment, after setting the appointment a week in advance, to cancel and tell me they have no techs serving the Denver Metro area. Even says within their description "Proudly serving the Denver Metro..." I took time off of work to deal with this, and guess will not have hot running water for a little while longer. Thanks for your "professionalism" Precision, glad I didn't have you touch my bathroom plumbing.

Our Plumber/Technician - Patrick Elkins - Was on time, thoughtful, thorough and transparent with regard to what he thought the issue was and what he was doing to troubleshoot...and ultimately fix. Highly recommend.

Zack was great to work with. Very professional and knowledgeable. Answered all my questions and offered helpful advice with realistic repairs not outrageous quotes as other companies I have worked with before commonly do. As a property manager I need to work with a company I can trust. Had some issues with other, but thankfully I found Precision. They are my go to when I need help with a heating or plumbing problem.

Brian definitely knew his business, but quote was just too high for my budget.

James was super helpful and detailed and upfront with me on my options for servicing my HVAC needs. He helped me understand the ongoing maintenance requirements and showed me what I can do myself to keep everything running great! Will totally call upon Precision again!!

Just had Ryan W. fix some plumbing problems on my home - Precision is always great on service, but Ryan was especially excellent to work with - great knowledge and personality.

I started my day with a smaller problem of two leaky faucets and decided that I'd also get my drains snaked at the same time. Like another reviewer, I, too, got a lot of problems noted on the assessment by the plumber sent from Precision. A $600 estimate to deal with the presenting complaints, but after the full assessment, I was given up to a $8000 estimate for a list of other things including: re-piping and replacing our pressure valve, replacing our 9-year old water heater, and installation of a whole whose water filter after alerting us to a high level of chlorine.

Unlike the other reviewer, however, I felt that I wanted to just take care of the issues noted as well as get the filter. My reasoning includes peace-of-mind. I'd rather be drinking and using filtered water. I don't want to suddenly find out that my water heater, pipes, or pressure valve failed.

Yes, I'm sure I was talked into more than I was originally planning for. Much of that is expected in almost ALL service industries, and on most counts, it's a better idea to follow the expertise of a professional.

So the short version: probably cost more than Joe-schmoe plumber, but security and accountability are worth that. Tyler and Paul were patient, thorough, and polite. Highly recommended if you have the cash to pay for this quality service.

Shawn was on time, friendly and able to identify where the leak was in our kitchen sink. We will be buying a new one and have Shawn install it!

Great customer service. The hot water heater went out at night, and they were able to get us an early morning appointment the following day. The technician gave us some troubleshooting pointers and better information about the heater in case it happened again, plus an estimate in case it needs replacing. They also recommended some good home warranty plans (that's not their business, so there was no 'selling' going on). They didn't even charge to take a look at it since it didn't need repairing. Will definitely look them up when we need repairs in the future!

My furnace wasn't working so I called Precision Plumbing (because they do heating as well) and they were able to come the next day. Billy showed up on time and was thorough and informative, answering all my questions in detail and didn't try to upsell me on additional services, which I always appreciate. I will 100% go back to Precision for any future services.

This is our first experience with Precision. We are extremely impressed with Eric and the staff we spoke with at Precision. They are experienced, knowledgeable, and professionally informed us every step of the way as they diagnosed why our chiller system was not functioning. My wife and I highly recommend Precision's professional technicians. In addition to Eric B. completing the job a previous company had left incomplete finally resulting in a cool, comfortable house, Billy H. came by this morning and fixed two other problems left by previous company! Billy is a professional. He, like Eric, is extremely pleasant and informative, and now our remote Fujitsu unit is up and running, and one of the zones in our heating system that would be costly to fix, according to previous company, was adjusted and manually repaired by Billy no new parts, no charge!

Mark K. & Cory came out and installed both the quiet cool house fan & the solar roof fan. They were quick & clean. I would definitely recommend them.

We are very happy with our new water heater. We thank Rocco for bringing to our attention that our old heater was over 20 years old when he was here on another job! Unfortunately, he could not install our new heater as planned as he was tied up with another job. Our thanks to Ken for taking on the job! My experience with Precision was awesome! They were able to come out the day after I called. Ken showed up right on time and was very professional.
