My wife and I journeyed to Baker's Acres yesterday afternoon, more out of curiosity than anything, and am glad we did. First, it's about a 20 minute drive from Westerville, so not that far off the beaten path, and the 20 minute drive itself is enjoyable, taking you along a gently rolling path, cutting through some of the country still untouched from the New Albany/Newark expansion. Once there, we found a very well kept, extremely well organized nursery, with an impressive array of plants, bushes and trees. The staff was kind and helpful and the prices were a bit below average. If you're considering making the trip, I would encourage you to do so. We enjoyed ourselves and left with a Jetta packed full of plants, bushes and even managed to squeeze in a 5' tree!

Love this nursery, just wish it was closer to my home! It's well worth the drive tho. Especially in the spring. They have an awesome herb and vegetable selection. So many that it is hard to choose. Knowledge workers can answer any questions. Also a great collection of tropical plants in the greenhouse. Lots of annuals and perinneals too

Such a charming lovely little place. The selection is incredible and the customer service is even better. We had a wonderful time shopping for our flowers. Very reasonably priced. Get out here if you can!!

A beautiful place to visit... and shop! Healthy plants of wide variety. Lots of great options, and a pleasure to just stroll around and take in the different forms and textures and colors.

One of the Best selections in the state at reasonable prices. Good advice and customer service as well. We visit from the Cleveland area at least twice a year, primarily for perennials, seeds, and vegetable plants. We've also bought some interesting annuals and fixtures. The place is a nice browse and plants are more hardy than those purchased from most other greenhouses.

Excellent family owned nursery with quality and diverse selection! We especially enjoy their annual spring Almost All Night Extravaganza sale, with good sales, good food and good music by founder Chris Baker's band, The Hip Replacements! They are a wonderful family with a great sense of humor.

I never miss a year of buying here. The plants are always top quality and the selection is unbeatable! There are varieties here that are difficult to find and the staff is pleasant and quick to help the customers.

Went with the garden club to a Peony Fest, then stopped off at Baker 's Acres.Found several plants I'd been looking for.One in particular was a Shrimp Plant. If you're in the New Albany area it's worth a visit.

Just about as good as it gets for interesting selection of perennials tender perennial and annual plants for the garden as well as unusual tropicals, begonias, succulents and an outstanding collection of coleus including Baker's own hybrids. A must visit for garden fanatics.

Shop here a lot people nice and helpful until my last visit. I called 2 days before to see if they could hold a concrete planter for me, it was gonna be a funeral arrangement. They said they usually only hold items for a day but she would put my name on it and keep it for me. That Sunday when I went to pick it up the women said she sold it. She seen my name on it and still sold it. I was heartbroken. She said if I had put money down on it they would have kept it. I would have ,if she would have asked ,but she didn't. I thought that was VERY RUDE. There was another lady that was all apologies. I think someone's word should be is more important than the almighty dollar. Evidently this women doesn't think so.

My favorite place to go for annuals, perennials and veggies. Been going here with my mom for over 20 years. Absolutely love their selection. They are also starting to have food trucks and events om the weekends so check their calendar. This is a hidden gem!

Was publicly yelled at by an employee for walking into a greenhouse that was open a week ago and lacked any sort of employees only sign. I used to give my business here several times each season and I even weeded the flower beds a couple of times back in high school. That being said, I will not be shopping here after this blatant display of unprofessional behavior. Go to Wilson s or even Lowes, they are cheaper and will not talk to you like a child in front of other customers.
