Great clinic. Was because of a shoulder surgery in the hospital in practice Leonardo. Very competent doctors who take their time. During the hospital stay in a four bed room. Everyone was very pleasant and we had it funny. The nursing staff had time and was very friendly. And the food was great. So if I have another surgery because of anything then there.
Presented to the orthopedic emergency room due to a bicycle fall.
Very good first aid there. The next day received an appointment for the surgery. Was even allowed to go home one night.
After that, in my opinion, I received very good support for surgical treatment of a clavicle fracture.
Doctor and anesthetics and therapy competent.
Care and hotel business friendly.

I had a skier s thumb operation, which apparently wasn t necessary, but the big issue here was the anesthesia treatment. Against my consent and in contrast to the conclusions of the discussion with the anesthesiologist, I was knocked out with sedatives straight from the beginning, instead of the agreed upon local anesthesia. No respect for my wishes, got lies straight in my face and patronized in unacceptable ways. Medical treatment without consent, that s what you may be getting yourself into.
I was also at the Leonardo Clinic for my moderate - severe neurological result of the finger test. He said that it was not a reduced nerve conduction velocity due to carpal tunnel syndrome, but rather starting from the shoulder. Today I can say it is more of a permanently extremely cramped forearm muscles that have been pressing the nerve. But he took my complaints seriously and sent me to the Pysio. This has largely fixed the problem.
I was there some time ago because of my back problem, thoracic and lumbar spine ... well. Maybe it will help to go here with something else, but not with a back problem, thoracic spine and lumbar spine. The two thoracic disc herniations that I had were not mentioned in any report, although at the beginning I pointed out that I had signs of Scheuermann there. This was not seen or denied there either. Fortunately, this stuff is getting better now. The buttock pain / knee pain / calf pain, heel pain that I had constantly got better through shoe insoles that were made on the basis of a running analysis. The right pelvis has always sunk down to the right. The whole thing also has a background that can be traced back to the broken collarbone but also the cervical spine syndrome (unfortunately I still have one-sided chronic). 1cm insole was successful. In addition, the left foot is bent inwards and this was also solved immediately. This was the reason for the ongoing ISG, piriformis problems. Fitness training also helped a lot.
Had my spinal anesthesia today and was thrilled. The anesthesiologist and the anesthetist assistant were extremely friendly, so you felt very safe and in good hands. They always explained everything and thus took away the fear. Thank you very much for the anesthetic that went well

I had to operate on my nose, because I could breathe very hard. At the same time as this operation I was, of course, at my request, a "hump" on the nose away. This was done by a plastic surgeon. Unfortunately, unfortunately, after the surgery, I noticed that my nose is totally nauseous and the hump is still easy to see. From my right nostril always "mucus" comes out, which was never the case before, except when I had a cold. I am very sorry that I have undergone surgery with these doctors, because now the doctor is in Africa and I can not reach him and the hospital can not help me.

Unfortunately I only had bad experiences with a, in my opinion, incompetent secretary and a doctor.

Unfriendly staff ... what's up with those? Out of 10, 8 are unfriendly arrogant and really show that they are annoyed ... wooow I am totally shocked I have never experienced such a thing ... The doctors and the anesthesia team is great but the nursing staff is horror. How should a person get well with so much negative energy?
In November 2018 because of my outer bands that I have injured in sports have been there ... the whole process of patient admission via X-ray, MRI, etc. is done very professionally and competently. Furthermore, I was taken as a patient very seriously and it was addressed to my needs. In terms of time, the hospital has always adhered to the agreed deadlines without long waiting times! ... great job of the staff!
I have already been to the Hirslanden Clinic twice, and both times I was very satisfied with the treatment and the way the patient was treated.
But now I had a shoulder dislocation and the attending physician had neither empathy, empathy nor the interest to address my concerns. Diagnoses were made that did not fit, medication was prescribed for 3 months which is now causing me stomach problems, the control was torn around my arm even though I said several times that I was in pain, wrong methods were used which ultimately cost me my job.
I will certainly never set foot in this clinic again.
Welcome to the "American Style of Medicine in Switzerland", a person with basic insurance is worth nothing, today I felt like a subhuman. I registered at the Leonardo practice in Birshof for an appointment for a knee replacement, and I was immediately informed on the phone that I would only be treated for just under CHF 10,000 additional costs because an upgrade is necessary. I have had my suffering for years and the pain has been very bad lately. I don't understand, because according to the annual report, just under 50% of patients are treated with just one basic insurance, just like me. Unfortunately not in my case, my search for help will have to go on, maybe I'll be lucky and find another hospital that doesn't make me feel like a less worthy person, like a subhuman.
Via emergency for clarification (without referral, but on the advice of a doctor's office) because of pain. The reception was friendly, but the doctor made a rather annoyed impression and loudly announced to another patient that she shouldn't complain to the emergency ward about waiting time for a banal emergency! Assumptions about a special syndrome were expressed, but not explained when asked!
Horrible experience. Doctors are awesome and extremely competents. Same with the physiotherapy team. I can't vouch for them enough. They are extremely professionals and knowledgeable. Five starts for them.
Now for the hospital stay:
I have been staying twice to that clinic prior to this last one. Both times were very nice, had great words for the care team. This time, it was a total disgrace. The older nurses were rude and careless. The pain management was practically non existent. One has to cry from
Pain to get them to take you seriously and to call a doctor to get better medicine than paracetamol. There is a huge lack of communication between nurse team and doctors.
Formal complain is on its way.
I introduced myself at the end of March due to permanent knee pain, especially with movement and stress in the inner back of the knee and knee instability after an event on February 19, 2017 in an orthopedic emergency. I have clearly described the event, as well as the complaints. Unfortunately, the doctor on duty did not listen in any way (I said: I go on vacation for a few days in a week, he asks me: where are you going for a week?) He diagnosed an onset osteoarthritis, in the end it was one Meniscal lesion. The report says: Pain for 4 weeks without traumatic effects! - I had an operation at the end of May (in another hospital), I am completely symptom-free, the knee is fully resilient. The further pain and a faster operation could have been prevented by this misdiagnosis and better listening on the part of the doctor. I will definitely no longer be treated in this clinic.
Beautiful structure and very clean reception staff very kind and very nice, radiology nurses very helpful, kind and explained everything they would do.
Also visited in orthopedics and the very kind doctor and secretary always smiling and very helpful.
I absolutely recommend it.
Has been to the clinic a few times because of sports injuries (ligament / cartilage tears, etc.). I was always treated kindly, my needs were taken care of and the diagnoses were correct.
I can also recommend the physiotherapy department!

Anesthesia team is 1A, can remember me after the tranquilizer pill only to the recovery station.
Care is extremely friendly and fast with one when you have rung.
Pain therapy is great, did not have significant pain the whole time!
