We stopped by chance in this Abbey on the Euganean Hills before going to Padua, and it was a pleasant surprise, the abbey is large, well maintained, with four cloisters, the guided tour is free and takes about forty minutes. A nice friar accompanied us on his visit explaining the history of the Abbey and the friars. There is also a store selling all the products of the Abbey, wine, honey, cosmetics, herbal teas.

It is an excellent location where you can breathe history and culture. The time required for driving or when driving yourself in a wonderful world where know their origins puts you at ease
; worth a stop. There is good parking.

An oasis of peace, with a beautiful herbalist shop and bookshop!

In reality we did not visit the Abbey, but we walked a nice path that runs around it. An hour and a half of pleasant walk, not particularly difficult (a few steep but feasible ascents / descents), quiet and the splendor of colors and serenity of a beautiful day in mid-November. At the outlet of the abbey we made some small purchases, served by two very kind and courteous friars. The whole context is beautiful

Benedictine Abbey still in use is well preserved, I thank the monk who was our guide, prepared and brilliant, he introduced us to the history and symbolism of the place. I recommend a visit, do not miss a few purchases at the shop.

Very nice facility. But unfortunately closed during the best visiting times. So the visit was reduced to buying healing ointments.

At the end it is worth taking a tour inside the shop, where you can buy products prepared inside the abbey (preparations for infusions, tea, sweets, wine etc).

Incredible place at the foot of the park of mount lonzina; full of history and surrounded by vines. Place that can be visited with even a small shop selling products from the garden of the friars

Very beautiful abbey in the middle of nature. You can visit with free guided tours every day we went on a weekday and there is a 15 to 16 and a 17. Very well explained visit. Inside there is a shop for religious, food and special beauty items.

Beautiful abbey, but it is possible to visit it only with a guided tour by a nice friar, but a little too much running ... it deserved many more minutes.

A punctual, precise and professional guide who guided us to the monastery. A corporate brand (don't be ashamed of it) that honors the tradition of an order devoted to prayer and work. The classic method sparkling wine made in the manner of the French brother Abbot Perignon is very interesting. Sensational!

The abbey is nice but too many mosquitoes to sleep in a tent next to the abbey ^^

Abbazia di Praglia is a place that brings serenity .... visited where possible with a friar who explained to us in a very prepared way both the history of the monastery and how they live .... they have the room for the restoration of ancient books that booking by e-mail you can visit and this is a thing for here very soon I will return ....
