Beautiful Benedictine abbey that rises near the Euganei mountains. It is possible to make guided visits in the company of a monk, who explains in detail not only the "physical" part of the place but also the various allegories and spiritual symbols present.
To visit the library there are specific dates and they are quite few, for this reason we were not able to access them. Next to the entrance there is a small shop selling religious and medicinal-herbal products. Overall it is a nice place to visit if you are around.

Beautiful Abbey located in a wonderful place among the Euganean in the Teolo area. Immersed in the greenery between faith and nature. Inside the guesthouse there is a fantastic shop of products made by the monks ... I recommend a visit. Have a good trip

I would add the possibility to the guest to be able to take a guided tour (a monk of spiritual reference ????) according to his motivations to spend days in the Monastery.
This should be, in some preliminary form, set before the entrance to be refined in presence.

A truly special place, to visit calmly enjoying the wonders explained by Father Wladimiro, a monk with boundless culture and sympathy. Too bad that time is running out, because the monks' shop offers their very special products .....

Splendid Benedictine Abbey at the foot of the Euganean Hills. Interesting guided tours are provided, inside the abbey at pre-established schedules which can be easily booked. Very nice is the point of sale of the medicinal products prepared by the Friars. The whole thing is definitely worth a visit.

Very beautiful, do not miss the guided tour of the monastery, you discover a world to the most unknown.
In the shop of products of the monastery you can find medicinal products and not very particular.

Place of great silence and serenity, fascinating immersed in the green and behind the Euganean hills, the Benedictine monks very good in explaining the life of the abbey, to visit absolutely.

The steps to the church are without a parapet, it seems very dangerous, better to keep children by the hand. The friars' shop has prohibitive prices, especially for wines, honey and body products. Very nice and kind the Argentine friar who guided us to the visit.

Sometimes you go to well-known places, even far away, overlooking the local "treasures" such as the Abbey of Praglia. I came here for a conference, so I saw little but I promised myself to come back for a quieter visit. Also worth seeing is the book restoration workshop, I think it is one of the best in the world.

An ancient religious place where the friars work the land and produce wine, honey, jams, soaps and even spices and have their own shop where you can find and their products. You can also visit the convent which is very beautiful.

I am not a practicing person, I do not feel close to the church although I believe there is a God, an after, something before and beyond our earthly life but this place has really involved me, it breathes an air of history, of studies, of prayer , of loyalty, one is enveloped by the beauty of this incredible monastery, its cloisters, the old refectory, the chapter house, (unfortunately I could not see the Library which must be worth the visit alone, but in August it is closed) of the same country context of the Euganean hills, from which the monks, following the "ora et labora" draw with their work what is necessary for their subsistence, both consuming it and selling it. Visits are guided by the monks, times are found on the abbey site. On the other hand, my visit would have been much less significant without the sympathy and irony of Dom Vladimiro (and I recommend DOM, with the final M, as he stressed, because they are monks, not friars, not priests) . This is the largest Benedictine community in Italy. A wonderful place. I went with my 9-year-old daughter, whom she really enjoyed thanks to the way Dom Vladimiro involved her. She was the only child, but I believe that from 8/9 years upwards they are able to understand many things and appreciate. Really not to be missed.

An ancient Benedictine abbey, which has always been a destination for every visitor to the Euganean Hills. Excellent and well stocked even the adjoining shop, where you can find various types of items (also present), local products of high quality and really interesting books.
