Just enjoyed Roars & Pours Family night. Great fun for the whole family!

We love this city zoo. Things for kids, things for adults. Very exciting changes coming, with new animals and new hardscapes. Love coming here for an afternoon or special event.

I really want to give it 3.5, however it is not a bad zoo, but not a awesome zoo either. They try to do so much to raise money and awareness!

Nice, cool place to spend a summer afternoon with family. Pleasantly arranged by continent. Good interpretive info.

Playground is great and has nice shade from the trees. Good sized water area too.

Unfortunately due to the time of year and renovations many of the animals were not available to see.

It was fun but the construction was a bit of a mess. Prices at food vendors were ok but the quality was not great. Animals were what you would expect from a little small town zoo.

Lots of animals in spacious enclosures but there's also a lot of construction. An otherwise good experience

Nice place to spend the day. All the construction makes parking difficult. Bathrooms could use some serious maintenance.

Smaller zoo but great animal displays. The Lions are the highlight of the trip.

Nice zoo. Lots of animals. And they seem to have a decent amount of space, but not too many places to hide where you can't see them. The train and merry-go-round were hits with my three yr old. Only complaint is that quite a few of the pens were empty and closed for maintenance. But hopefully that means it will be even better in the future.

Day we went couldn't get to all the zoo because of construction that was a little disappointing

Love this zoo! Amazing animals, beautiful layout(even better after upgrades completed), good food selection, awesome staff. Lots of classes available too!

It's a real nice local zoo great place to take the kids

Small, but you are able to get closer to the animals than at most zoos.

I loved taking my family here! It was a wonderful way to spend Mother's Day!

Went to zoo opening day. It's a small zoo but the animals were awake and friendly. You're able to touch a lot of the animals. There's construction going at the zoo not sure when it will be finish. Overall it's a nice zoo

I grew up in Indiana and never actually knew about this zoo. I always went to the 2 in Chicago. Thanks to Covid-19 I found out about this place. Its small but quaint. My granddaughter enjoyed it and so did I.

We had a great time. We're from Anderson County, TN.

The kids loved the zoo but some of the animals were not in the exhibits, alot of construction is going on and the lines in the gift shop are insane.

For a small town like South Bend, this is a nice place to spend a day! I was pleasantly surprised with the variety of animals they have. From farm animals like goats and hogs, to African lions, monkeys, and hippos, even kangaroos and wallabes. My girls were so excited to see a baby wallabe in its mama's pouch while we were there. There's a nice little park by the farm animals that makes a nice break for kids. It's not a big zoo, but it's a fun day out, and worth the membership with kids!

The best zoo in my area. The goliath bird eating tarantula is subject to poor husbandry and is probably unable to grow. It is visibly under a lot of stress as a lot of the hair on its abdomen has been flicked off. A shame really, if no one wants to take care of an arachnid then don't keep them in the zoo like that.

There used to be scorpions, but chances are they died due to lack of proper care.

Fun place, great animals, nice setup, and the most active lions you'll ever see at a zoo. Listen for the roars!

It's not the largest zoo, but it's our zoo. It has many different cute creatures and critters, and I would 100% recommend going. (Kids will love it!)

It's a nice, small zoo that is well-maintained and has interesting exhibits. In a few, you can get very close to the animals. Great for little kids, and the annual pass is a bargain!

Awesome little zoo. Very clean and pretty. Did not smell even on a warm day. Animals were all healthy and good looking. Fun place for kids and adults alike.

For a small city, this is a pretty decent zoo. Great for kids.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Potawatomi Zoo. We decided to go last October for our organization day and had the place to ourselves. We got the behind the scenes tour and enjoyed the exhibits without fighting any crowds. I would love to return sometime with the family. Highly recommend!

I love this place. Small enough to to in a day but big enough to be worth the time and money. Good priced food too.

This zoo is very small, but it is nice for young children. They have wheelchairs available if you cannot walk around the whole zoo. They have a very nice area for children to interact with farm animals. Outside the zoo there is a very large playground with a splashpad. The carousel is very nice. The trainride is ok.. The scenery could be better.

My husband and I take our kids to this zoo, and sometimes will just go for a stroll there too. The animals can be very entertaining, which always makes for a wonderful time ! We are exciting for the giraffe exhibit coming soon. While I have been to bigger , and nicer zoo's for our small area this is a very nice zoo, their always trying to make it better. The staff is warm, and the events they have on schedule is a wide range of adventure.

There's not a lot for toddlers to play on at the parks. The water pad/area is fairly large. The water pad gets a bit slippery for barefoot children.

Zoo is always clean. The zoo staff is friendly and quick to answer any questions. Great local zoo!

Had so much fun and enjoyed having lunch with a peacock

Loved it they need more animals like giraffe. Elephants and ponies

Liked visiting zoo for this event- Roars for Pours. Had our favorite brewery and got to see the animals.
