Love the zoo. Always a good experience. There is always some event going on and a great time to be had. Something over looked is the great park across the street. Great for the kids, cooking out and get togethers. [Free]. Also the it's small enough of a zoo for the little guys to run around but big enough to keep them busy.

Such an amazing place! Lots of diversity in the types of animals and the staff loves to teach! They want to show you all about the animals they love so much! Josh Sisk, Liz, and Maggie are astounding with the knowledge they have on all of their animals and the eagerness to share! I would highly recommend this place for a family outting or just for you to take a day for yourself.

My husband and I brought the 2 children we babysit for on July 31st. Karagan is 4 and was so excited to see the baby flamingo. McCoy is 1 and loved all the animals, but I'm pretty sure the monkeys were his favorite. My husband got to take them on the train and carousel. There are benches throughout the zoo and plenty of shade trees. We were there about 3 hours and can't wait to go back!

Animals are active, happy and healthy! Very beautiful and clean zoo that always seems to be getting bigger and better. Alot of information about each animal which is a good learning experience for the kids while enjoying the sights. Theyre also adding more animals soon. Can't wait to go back well worth it!!!

Went for the Winter Days, and wasn't really sure what to expect. It was about 30F and snowing, and many of the animals were outside and actively enjoying the weather. It was a cool experience, and obviously less crowded as well. I'd say we saw almost half of the normal animals. I would go again!

Great local zoo!, lots of animals. The zoo is sort of small but it s definitely worth the price! The gift shop is well priced the smaller items are cheap and the bigger items are more expensive. The staff are nice and tell you facts about the animals sometimes. I had a really good time From my past experiences and I m going to go back this summer!

great place to take the kids and the season pass is a great value. downside is it's very very small, and i sometimes feel bad for the animals in their tiny enclosures, when there is unused space in other parts of the zoo

Same things you can see driving down back roads or visiting the county fair. With the exception of very few animals which can be found at other zoos with many more attractions for the price.

We absolutely love this zoo. It s just the perfect size for an outing with the kids. It takes us about an hour and a half to get through all the exhibits while taking a little time at each one. I feel that it s layout is well done, lots of animals in the space they have. And our kids love the train rides!

The Zoo is a nice place to visit with kids, it is a one time must. The areas where respected animals are kept are designed by keeping them in mind. The Flamingos are beautiful I just loved their beauty. If you like a certain specie of animal, you should visit. The staff is really good, they take good care of the animals.

Our family loves the zoo, its worth the annual family pass if you live near bye and want a place to walk. The pass is also has retriprosity with other Zoos (Micbigan City, John Ball, etc). We can do the walk/loop as quick as 30 minutes but usually takes 45 to 50 minutes. Our kids love seeing the tiger, lion, leapords, river otters, bison ( Geronimo is the big one), alligators (especially smiley, we visit often LOL), and red pandas. There are a bunch more animals, and in addition too the animals our younger kids like riding the carousel and occasionally the train. Always a good time. BTW, they have a rental picnic area. We have seen people have corporate, weddings, and general gatherings. Thinking about this for one our kids birthday - outside, less covid issues than if inside.

Great zoo! Not super huge and a pain to walk through, not super tiny and over with before you know it. It's just right, with lots of exotic animals and set up very well so you can easily see everything without backtracking too much. Kids loved it, I wish I knew about this place before!

My family loves coming here. It's small enough to get through within a few hours but still has plenty to see. The carousel and train rides are nice activities, there is also a gift shop and a couple snack shops. Parking is usually the only complaint. Especially being a zoo membership holder, I wish parking was more available.

Wonderful for kids, including a carousel, a farm animal exhibit, and kid-size zoo train. Wonderful for adults, with interesting and unusual animals such as the takin, the kudu, the capybara, rhino and warthog, tigers, lions, otters and monkeys. Perfectly sized for the family - everything can be seen and appreciated in 2 - 2 1/2 hours - nice concessions if you want to make a day of it, and a brand new zoo store for souvenirs. Come back in every season for special displays and finish reading the informative signage you missed the first time. A nice family membership is also available.

Nice little zoo for smaller kids. Expect to only spend like 2 hours or so there including rides. There is 2 nice parks and a splash pad across the parking lot where we like to eat lunch.

Small but good zoo. My son really likes the park just outside the zoo, a real bonus giving its free. The park has a small splash pad also free. Across the street is a pool with a few slides. Over all nice place.

This zoo is SO different with all of the remodels. We were there on a cool day with my grandbaby. All of the animals were active and out. Sad that the chimps are gone, but anxious to see what is coming to that exhibit. The zoo was clean and they were decorating for fhe Christmas lights.

Had a blast... even though it poured on us ...there are plenty of places to wait out the rain. I would recommend stopping at the gift shop first before feeding the fish or riding the train or carousel..they gave better prices there.

This was a decent sized zoo with many exhibits and descriptions. Was easy to navigate even with my daughter who has trouble walking. The 10 dollar admission made it an easy decision to go.

Zoo was fun, clean, and covid aware. All precautions in place. However , if you want people to visit your gift store please have adequate staffing. Lines were way to long for covid precautions.
