Allot of fun. They are adding extra things. They even sell beer,and wine.
Price has gone up allot to get in,used to be an affordable day. Train,and carousel are $2.00 each extra.

I felt bad for the animals. They looked miserable. The indoors are very stinky

There was great customer service and the employees really knew a lot about the animals there. They were able to answer all of my daughters questions

A great place to take kids and your family. Everyone was friendly and curtious plus the atmosphere was outstanding.

Can't go wrong with Popeye's. Great sides and delicious chicken

Most of the animals were not out and the big animals that were out were in enclosures that were way too small.

Lovely park to walk around for the family. Opportunities to feed farm animals and fish, wish giraffe feeding coming in the future. Small and contained, great for younger kids. You may purchase libations for the adults and drink as you walk. Carousel and train ride are nice to break things up. Lots of shade, pretty mature landscaping. Especially considering this is here in South Bend, it's a swell place for a family outing.

My kids love the zoo! We buy the family membership every year and definitely get our money worth

Was here for roars and pours. Fun activity. Pretty cool animals

The splash pad was disappointing. The park was ok. I dont think the zoo should be open when construction is going on. Almost none of the animals were out.

Better than some of the Chicago Zoo's. Seriously. Especially Zoo Boo. They knocked it out of the park.

Well kept zoo with a friendly staff. The grandkids had a blast, always makes for a great weekend.

This is a wonderful small zoo set in a nice South Bend neighborhood. They have a great variety of unusual species, red panda, opaki, African wild dogs, snow leopard. Definitely worth a visit but go with the expectation that it's not a big city zoo.

We had a great time at the zoo. Even with the construction, there is easy access to the zoo and all of the areas. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the facilities were clean.
I visit the zoo every chance I get and it's always worth the drive.

Good clean zoo, just not outstanding in the variety of animals and quality of exhibits.

Very nice and close by. Great place overall, picinic, water splash and play ground. Most of it free!

Outstanding zoo, picnic area and playgrounds. Clean, well kept

The weather being so hot has a lot of the animals inside their habitats. There's a lot of construction going on at the zoo also. Pick a cooler day to go and you'll get to see more of the animals.

It was a great experience for the new work being done there, food is good, and the train ride was fabulous, really enjoyed going to the zoo on opening day

The zoo is awesome and my grandparents toke me there all the time and little secret is that the big turtles near the train love to get their necks scratched when you do they stretch there necks out long.

We just love this place! It is so clean and it appears that the animals are very cared for,,,loved! They zoo are very accommodating to those (like me) with disabilities. We love the interactive exhibits too. I always tell my friends about this lovely gem. Thank you Potawatomi Zoo!!!

A great all around park with much for everyone and upkept very well.

The zoo is being remodeled; some exhibits are closed due to this. The online map indicated more animals then are currently being housed at the zoo. For example, a giraffe exhibit is shown and when we inquired about it we were told the giraffe is in the six-year plan but not this year. Be certain to visit this zoo in warmer weather when more of their animals are in their exhibits. Many were not out of protective winter housing.

Even though it was getting colder and there was construction the staff was very friendly and the zoo was very clean!

Not that many animals and the size of the "habitat" they are in are too small especially the birds and owls they were all bunched up because of how much little space they gave them. I feel bad for those animals

Animals could be better and more exciting kids get bored out from the animals at times. Maybe different animals for a change.

Such a great zoo! Perfect size for a half-day trip. Cozy and charming. Landscaping is as mesmerizing as the animals! They've really improved the place.

I like to go to Potawatomi Zoo I like to take my grandchildren there but they need to put in some new exhibits maybe some new animals or something different for the children to do

A fun & safe family experience every time. If you haven't been in a while, you must see the new exhibits!

We recently went before Christmas for the zoo lights and had a great time. Most of the animals were not on exhibit, but the experience was fun nonetheless. My kids had a great time so that s what matters. All my other visits here have been wonderful. It s nice to avoid the traffic going to one of Chicago s zoos and come here.

First time for my lil guy. He loved it. With his favorite cousins London and Brody

Across my road trips, we always visit a lot of zoos. This was probably my least favorite. The layout of the zoo is a little confusing and it's easy to miss things. Maps were out of date because they're making updates. A lot of animals couldn't be seen too. Unfortunately 100% of customers entered the zoo with a mask on and only 25% kept it on after walking through the entrance. So if you wish to be safe, don't come here right now. A lot of people didn't care about social distancing.

It's alright there are better zoos but nice for a quick thing

Good place to visit for the family. While its not a huge zoo like Brookfield, Lincoln , etc. Its great if you have little ones whos patience is gone after an hr. We do a round and can go on to other things. It gets multiple visits from us

Beautiful place, awesome animals, and plenty of playground picnic areas. Even a quaint water pad.

Small enough to see it all in a half day. Get a close up view of the animals. Pleasant place to take the young ones.
