First time here~ I had roast duck & risotto. The duck tasted a bit bitter outside, tender inside. The risotto tasted great! My boyfriend had the panera sandwich. They have many varieties of the dishes, and drinks. The service was good~ The main dishes took a while, but the drinks were fast. Would come back again for special events!

Michael was very attentive and made great recommendations since our first visit. Food had great flavor and the prices matched the quality and portions.
Great service, DELICIOUS food, great atmosphere. The patio is fantastic during warmer weather and when it gets cold... request a table near the amazing fireplace!
Everything on the menu is delicious. This is easily one of my personal favorite restaurants in Minnesota. Great for celebrations or just a nice dinner.
Always great service. The house soup is great & love the sausage flat bread. The monk fish special wasn t as great as I d hoped for. It s always a good place to eat.
Life offers a few treasured moments and each one should be held onto with thoughtful hands. Porter Creek is a treasured moment. We will hold onto this one again and again.
Appetizers were really good, burger was over done and fries were a bit on the cold side. To be fair we went there as a big group about 14 people. Our waiter was great.
; Hahaha, I didn't even get to eat there because the minute we walked in I immediately could tell we were being judged by the host. Yes, it's a more "upscale" "fancier" place than what's around, but we drove 4 hours from Minneapolis to visit a family member who was located at Thedacare Hospital. Of course we are going to be dressed comfortably for a 4 hour back and forth. Either way, that was enough to get the vibe of this place. The host is the face of your business... and surely wasn't a good impression.
Went at 2pm, cibbiata was stale fell apart, coleslaw was warm, i just feel that the chef could hav more creativity. hav grilled chix, not just pulled rotesiery. Their salads sounded like they would b good, but I wasn't there for that.... just was disappointed for my first experience.
Consistently good food and service, with a nice atmosphere. Wait times are usually reasonable, if we even have to wait at all. This is one of our go-to places.
Was a favorite for a long time when I worked in Burnsville. The Walleye Sandwich with roasted vegetables was my go to. Had not been there in sometime, portions were smaller, and breading not a good. Still a solid restaurant choice in the area.
This place has such a nice ambiance! They had the fireplace going and candles at each table as well as fresh flowers in the bathroom. The food was absolutely fantastic with good portions and well priced. Everyone there was friendly and we had one of the best waitresses I ve ever had. It s a very upscale but inviting place and it s perfect for a night out.
Love, love, love Porter Creek!! I have dined here countless times and have never had a bad experience. The food and service are always exceptional. Whenever I have family or friends visiting, I often suggest Porter Creek because I know we will have an excellent experience.
When they first opened, the food was wonderful...last nite, not so much. We all ordered the chicken. None were cooked long enuf and the seasoned mashed potatoes were hard and at best, room temperature. ..a huge disappointment! Too expensive for such poor quality food!
Absolutely fantastic food. Great atmosphere and a really nice patio. Excellent cocktails, okay beer selection and decent wine list. Lots of variety. A little on the spendy side ($40 per person for full treatment) but very delicious
Great menu choices and reasonably priced. Smoked turkey sandwich with brie cheese and apple was absolutely delicious. Nice beer selection, a little disappointing that the porter was out but still had a nice ale that went well with my sandwich. Service was prompt and friendly and the wait time for food was minimal. Nice atmosphere very cozy and wonderful wood roast smell throughout.
Great dining experience for our party of 9. The wait staff is always close by and prompt with requests but not hovering over the table. The food is great, a variety to please any taste. The interior decor is a bit dark but beautiful none the less.
Great food. Awesome place to go for a lunch meeting considering they have a good variety on their lunch menu. Quick and friendly service . Since it is right on CR42 it makes it easy to find and a nicer place right off of 35 south.
They also have a great dinner menu and drink selection with rotating specials.
Love the open kitchen with the option to sit at the bar
Haven't gone in the summer but they do have outdoor seating. Indoors they have booths and tables as well as a fireplace.
Great food, excellent service, nice atmosphere, (especially the patio in the summer), and clean, well-maintained restaurant! Highly recommend for a classy dining experience!
Pros: Excellent food & drink, great staff, nice ambience. Cons: Even with a reservation you may have a wait, almost always crowded, gets very loud. Tips: Be prepared to wait for a table, bring earplugs, learn to read lips.
Have been here several times for lunch and also an event. This is a beautiful restaurant and they serve fantastic food. The pricing is at the perfect price point for what you get as well. Well known for their rotisserie. Too bad this is on the opposite end of town from me! Cannot wait to come back.
GF took me here for my birthday, AMAZING FOOD. Beautiful day for patio seating and drinks. Travis was our server and he was very insightful with the food menu and drink specials. We had the Walleye Fingers, Ahi Tuna, and Italian Sausage & Apricot Chutney flatbread. Everything was delicious, highly recommend the Walleye Fingers! The drinks were tasty with just the right amount of alcohol, White Peach Sangria and Solerno Mule. Complimentary birthday desert, Molten Cake w/ Salted Caramel and Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (slightly melted bc I was in the bathroom when it was brought out n took the pic late, arrived solid). Our first time here and definitely not our last.
Second time, however... First off, I want to say that the servers here are AWESOME. The guy who took our order was very attentive. I was able to get my second drink, before I even finished my first. He was also very fun and entertaining. The people who interacted with us were so friendly.
But--my gripe was THE FOOD. I just want to clarify that the first time I went here, the food was so great! But I guess this second time, they weren't on top of their game. Because first of all, my sandwich was burnt--all around. Like literally, I tried to take a bite and the ingredients were forced out because the bread was so hard from being burnt, that it forced them out. It was kind of embarrassing. As if I didn't think it could get any worse...then I found a hair hanging from my sandwich... Like, what?? But oh well, I have a strong stomach, the flavor of the sandwich was good enough, aside from the charred bread. I finished it. I HATE complaining, so I didn't bring it up. Overall, I really like this place. Our first time was GREAT and even this second time, the people were so nice! But when the food is this bad...?
The last thing I wanted to mention was my fiance's cobb salad. She had barely any chicken! I mean, come on, when you think of a salad, it just sounds boring. BUT--when you order a cobb salad, you should get A LOT of chicken and other ingredients. That's the beauty of the cobb salad. Even if it sounds boring, you get sooooo much bang for your buck. But today, it was a little under-whelming.
I thought the food was ok. I will not return though because they fry their nuts in the same oil as their fries. I found it very difficult to eat here with my tree nut allergies. DO NOT EAT HERE if you have a sensitive nut allergy.
John, our server was amazing and made my wife and I's experience great! Beautiful restraunt and top notch service = great experience, highly recommend!
The atmosphere is awesome, the service was great and the food was just OK. I had a Cobb salad and it was pretty blah. I expect more from this place -step it up Chefs! With the rotisserie grill you should be turning out a tasty and quality product. The greens were subpar ( add spinach and kale), the tomatoes were soft, the dressings were bland and it looked like a inexperienced teenager through together the salad. Sorry for being so critical but this is a nice place and it should ve been much more inviting salad . I will definitely think twice before coming back for the food
Wonderful place to eat. Good selection of food and all reasonably priced within a classy dining restaurant. I ordered the Salmon w/ roasted corn sauce. I was not disappointed! Our server was friendly and attentive. She knew the menu very well and made some great recommendations! First time coming and will definitely be back.
Enjoyed a great dinner here tonight. The service was excellent. I ordered the walleye which was hot and delicious. But the mashed potatoes that came with it were room temp (my BF tried them too and agreed they were cold) so our amazing server brought me new mashed potatoes that had been microwaved. They were definitely PIPING HOT but definitely microwaved for a WHILE. The potatoes were ruined by the extensive microwaving, needless to say I didn't eat the potatoes. Other than that, service and food were great!
Good food and best service, what more do you need? Their lamb shank keeps me going back. Tried the blue cheese crusted tenderloin steak, cooked to perfection, juicy and tender. Also ordered the artichoke fondue appetizer, better than most places we have had. If you are lucky to be there when they have their sea bass special, order it, it'll change your life . Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
