I always enjoy my visits here. Menu has a good variety. The Hot wings are amazing with their crispy ends.

Looking forward to this patio is what gets me through January!

4 stars for really pleasant well paced service and very good main dishes. Pork Chop was perfectly cooked and came with a chutney that was excellent with it. New York strip was flavorful and right on medium rare as requested. Veggies were fresh and nicely prepared. 1 star off for the pre meal bread which was without character and the calamari appetizer that was bland. Neither are fit for a restaurant of this caliber.

Happy hour with Yummy appetizers at the bar. Perfect after shopping remedy. Cozy atmosphere with great food and drinks.

Best chicken around, any way they make it I recommend it! Definitely a go to spot.

I order the half rotisserie chicken dinner. The chicken itself was wonderful but a half chicken I did not receive. I got a small thigh and wing. My dining partner ordered the NY strip ordered medium. It came medium raw, was chewy and lacked flavor. The potato s and were bland. I tried to take him to a new place to dine for his birthday and we left disappointed. Our sever was very busy and not around.

My food was good, and the service was fast & friendly.

Delicious roasted duck with duck salad was incredible! Service was exceptional and enjoyed with a nice glass of Pinot Grigio. Our party if five was served quickly and everyone's meal was delicious!

Prices are fair. This is my favorite place in Burnsville for good atmosphere and food that doesn't disappoint. Wait staff is solid. Good beer selection.

Very good food, service was excellent, atmosphere very nice and comfortable. Prices were good. When we arrived the parking lot was maxed out, but we had a reservation and didn t need to wait long to sit once we were inside.
The restaurant was very clean and dust free. Bathrooms were clean as well. Definitely will go back. Great place to meet friends while taking your time with the meal and drinks.

Porter Creek is a mainstay of the south metro dining scene. Classy, fresh, and oh so delicious - it is exactly what it aims to be: a moderate to high end eating establishment that is both refined and comfortable.

From the wood accents, to the vaulted ceiling, and even the delicious aroma of a wood fire rotisserie roaring near the kitchen, your senses are warmed as you enter the comfortably lit seating area, and the good vibes continue on from there.

Whether opting for a healthy option like the wine country salad (complete with oven roasted grapes, and Gorgonzola cheese), the delectable Prime Rib Dip, or indulgent Asiago-Crusted Pork Tenderloin sandwich, the lunch options are excellent.

The wood burning rotisserie makes amazing chicken wings - only rivaled (dare I say bested?), by the incredible Doolittle s Woodfire Grill in Eagan - *another treasure!* But be forewarned, after these babies you will never look at a chicken wing the same again!

The service is pleasant and attentive - if somewhat scripted. If we hadn t brought a customer here two days in a row (at their request following the first visit!), I never would have known that the servers said nearly the exact same thing (at least in greeting/specials) though.

In the evenings, the portions are large and delicious. There is a lovely patio for the warmer months, and seating room big enough for large groups.

This place is a slam dunk. While not inexpensive - although half price bottles of wine on Tuesday don t hurt! - I encourage you to give it a try. It might just be your new favorite! It certainly is one of mine.

The food was mediocre. The real issue was service. Our waitress disappeared for 45 minutes and came back saying she got caught at a different table. It was a birthday celebration, and we didn't get to order dessert. Super disappointing.

Outdoor patio is romantic in so many ways with a waterfall table, fireside seating and fountains to please all senses.

The service was incredibly slow at 7:30pm. I ordered a Manhattan which had too much cherry syrup. I asked the waitress to have some more alcohol to even out the flavor. She brought a shot back to the table to add to the drink. When I got my bill the shot was added to the bill. The amazing thing was that the shot was more than the drink. CRAZY!!!

Was there recently with my girlfriend and had an unpleasant experience. Managers Neil and Bill came to our table, and began to scold us for "double booking" which we did not do. It was a very unprofessional 8 min tirade in front of other guests from them both. They barked at us at the table (yes, wine glasses right in front of them) without any distancing NOR masks! Wont ever return just because of these two... the most unprofessional public outbursts toward a guest I have seen.

In the last two decades, this was one of my best experiences at a restaurant. Travis didn't write a thing down but got it 100%. The hangar steak is incredible. The walleye fingers, as an appetizer is better than good. Get a flight of beer, try out some things. Amazing atmosphere, fantastic service from Travis. 10 of 10.

This was a great accidental find while chasing waterfalls in Minnesota. My wife and I don't like to eat at chain restaurants when we travel and stopped in a Porter Creek and had a wonderful meal and they have 15 or more homemade pies to choose from for desert. They all looked good and the ones we chose certainly were.

Food is very good. Sauces are excellent! Had a starter salad that tasted great...but ridiculously small. Desserts are great. Do not bother with an expresso...only filled the small cup about 1/3 full. Enough for 3 small sips. Waiter only offered to put coffee in it! What?

Great food and service all around. Buffalo mac and cheese was as good as I could describe in words! Classy atmosphere and reasonable pricing for the high quality. Plus, family owned and not a chain.. You won't be disappointed. Thx!!

The ambiance or should I clarify, the furnishings are comfortable, but the openness leaves little room for a cozy and private experience. My feelings after the food I've indulged in here has been good, the service is better. I prefer this restaurant in the spring and summer and sitting on the porch even if it is on county 42 with the loud obnoxious traffic.

I have an obsession with the artichoke fondue kettle, SOOO good. Been here a handful of times and every time it never disappoints. Food is always good, fresh and fast. They don t ever rush you when you re talking and hanging out like some places. Maria was our server and she was very attentive. I m drink a lot and she was always prepared with a refill. Would highly recommend! Only thing is it was a little cold in the farthest room so being a sweater.

I've eaten here several times and never was as disappointed as I was last night. I wasn't able to substitute garlic mashed for regular potatoes. No big deal, but the mashed potatoes I got were not hot. And the roasted veggies were not done. I like them a little on the crunchy order but I couldn't even cut my carrots with a knife. Rotisserie chicken was good. (And that was pretty hot). One of my pet peeves at restaurants is getting food that isn't hot.

The meals are always delicious. Great patio area too!

Porter Creek is a very nice place with a warm, and cozy atmosphere. I've been here on a date with my husband, with friends for drinks, and for family celebrations. There is a great menu with a variety of choices from more steakhouse dishes to sandwiches and salads.

Last night I went with friends and had the walleye dinner which was absolutely terrific! The walleye was asiago crusted and was a very generous piece, and had a fantastic tarter sauce to complement it.

I've been very happy with all the choices I've tried so far and have recommended this restaurant to a number of people who loved it. It's also fun to sit in a booth against the kitchen window if you watching the kitchen action :)

My Grilled Pork Chop was raw - sent it back, the Potatoes Au Gratin that came with our steak were cold - sent them back. Twenty minutes later after we had finished our meals the charred Potatoes Au Gratin came back. The management took the pork chop off our check but this is the second time in 1 month we've had issues with the food at this establishement. This place used to be exceptional but has gone down in quality over the last 2 years.

Typically A great experience here! Today however The manager on duty,Neil Lindstrom change that. We had a party of 20+ that we made a reservation for days I had of time We showed up only to be greeted by his chagrin. Poor customer service Never did take care of seating us And told us that we were welcome to find a different place to go. He called us at the last minute to make changes and let us know that there are many different things we had to do to accommodate us.Certainly not how you speak Two or treat your guests. Wouldn t want to work with or for him Porter Creek, we think you can do better given our past experiences.

Wow! This is a great place for delicious food and drinks.

We met my in-laws here for father s day. They had been here several times but it was my first time. It was fantastic! My wife loves sandwiches and felt compelled to get the prime rib sandwich. It was the right decision. The beef was thinly sliced and the roll was perfect.

I had the pork chop. The sauce it was served with was the perfect compliment to a juicy pork chop.

My only complaints would be that the mashed potatoes were pretty bland and the bread served with our dinners was pretty boring white bread.

Well worth a trip!

Top 3 things:
1. Salmon with Roasted Corn Sauce - won an award for a reason - get it
2. This is not really your typical suburb chain restaurant, the quality of food and service staff really stand out.
3. Good restaurant for all types, families, couples, outdoor patio dining, it covers the gamut

Things I wish I knew ahead of time:
1. Sizable entree portions
2. Extremely accommodating staff/kitchen. One member of my party asked about a dish and upon realizing she couldn't have it as it appeared on the menu, they offered to change it with some different ingredients to make it work. Our server volunteered this without us having to ask which was great.

Fabulous happy hour food and drinks! Great for a first date, special event or meeting friends. Great food and service- would definitely recommend.

Porter Creek is a true gem - beautiful room and patio, always great service whether at a table or the bar, great food with terrific seasonal menu changes, and a stellar wine list (half price Tuesday!). Can I move in?

The tenderloin with blue cheese was the best meal I ve had in a very long time! Great service and great atmosphere! I highly recommend!

Hanger steak and walleye were both very good. Service was poor. Sat at table for some time before anyone even showed up. Even after food arrived waitress wasnt very attentive. She was friendly... maybe they were under staffed. Host/Mgr didn't seem to really care.

Good food. Kinda pricey, but you're paying for the ambiance.

Really enjoyed the food, but waitress was a little short with us. It didn't ruin the experience a whole lot. Still like to go back to it for a dinner service.
