Consistently amazing food. I've had different items from both their lunch and dinner menu and I have never had a bad experience. The most unexpectedly wonderful appetizer is the Fried Goat Cheese Balls and Beets with a reduced Balsalmic drizzle. OMGosh, I wish I could make it at home. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable with several areas that will give you different experiences. We like the outside patio or by the inside fireplace or drinks along the open fire patio. Enjoy!

This was a fantastic experience. We had very friendly and excellent service from every person we spoke with. This was an evening of drinks and appetizers. It had a great ambiance and was very clean. The calamari was cooked perfectly and the flat bread was excellent. Our drinks consisted of basic bourbons and common cocktails. If you are looking for a long pour in your drinks this is not the place to go. All of the drinks were well balanced. I am glad I gave this place a second chance. I will certainly be back based on this most recent visit.

I think the food is actually pretty good there. The flatbread was great. But the waitress lady (Van, Von, Vahn or whatever) had a very judgemental demeanor towards me. She was kind to my mom but damn, that glare she shot at me was uncalled for. And I don't even know why! I was pretty neutral with my behavior, not too talkative and not overly demanding. The manager was nice when he came over at least...

I was very excited to try Porter Creek a few months ago for my husband's birthday. It was a very pretty place. I had heard many good things. However, I felt the service was rushed, the host was rude and when my meal came I waited for my drink for 20 minutes. I'd say this place is not worth your time. There are many other restaurants close by that I suggest open and which treat their customers with respect. The service was poor for the money we paid.

The rotisserie chicken was amazing! Our waiter had an energy that was contagious and he was very knowledgeable about all the food and alcohol. Highly recommend this place! Two meals, two drinks and a scotch flight ran us just under $100.

Decent, but I've had better experiences here in the past. The rotisserie chicken chowder was super salty, but not bad. Same goes for the burger, but again, nothing special and the side of mashed potatoes was cold when it came out.

We had a dinner reservation set up ahead of time f...

We had a dinner reservation set up ahead of time for a party of four in a booth. We explained during the reservation that the booth was important because one of the party members had a bad back. We showed up ten minutes early and had to park in a different parking lot (the Porter Creek parking lot and street parking were both full). The staff told us our table would be ready in a few minutes (which we expected, showing up early). They then led us to a table, not a booth, that had only two chairs at it. We explained we had reserved a booth for four and were told 'this is what we have', and they left to get more chairs. They returned with two more chairs, but only brought three sets of silverware to the table. Our party member with the bad back said the table was fine and we decided to let it go.

The service was alright. Nothing terrible, but it wasn't anything overly exciting. The one thing that really irked me was when we ordered our food the waitress asked "Would you like the chicken soup, or the caesar salad?". There wasn't a question if we would like to ADD the soup/salad, but rather which one we wanted. Thinking it came with the meal as it does at most places, we all picked which one we wanted. It ended up being a little salad / cup of soup that costed just over $5 each. It was rather annoying that we were not asked to ADD it on, especially since the little salad was not worth anywhere near what we were charged.

We also requested a new set of silverware several times. As mentioned before, the table was set up for only three people after we sat down. Even when we got our appetizer, they only brought three plates to the table (I guess the fourth person was just invisible?). We mentioned this twice to our waitress and asked for a fourth plate and set of silverware. "You get a new set of silverware with your meal" was what she said before she walked away. The 'new set' was just a fork and still no napkin. We finally had to ask the gentleman who delivered our final plate of food if he could please get us a fourth napkin.

Personally, I split the current steak special with someone else and it tasted great. It was a little undercooked compared to how I wanted it, but it tasted really good. We also didn't get the "red pepper chutney" that was supposed to come with it (there were no peppers even on our plate). One of the other steaks at the table tasted horrible, the New York Strip. The person eating it complained it tasted like wood. I laughed at her because I thought she just wasn't expecting the smokey wood-stove flavor, but I tried a piece of it and it really wasn't good. It didn't taste charred or smokey, it just tasted like a block of wood. I compared it to what eating a 2x4 would probably taste like. It wasn't smokey or delicious like mine was, just bland and rather gross.

We ordered two desserts to split at the table, the ginger creme brulee and the banana cake. The banana cake was good, the table devoured it before I got more than one bite!, but the ginger creme brulee had a ginger flavor that was far stronger than we had expected. It was a little bit off-putting to end the meal on.

Between an appetizer, three entrees (four salads/soups), two desserts and four drinks (three beers, a water, and a soda) the total ended up being $140 before tip. Between the salad/soup ordeal ($24), the bad-tasting steak ($30), and the fact we didn't get a booth or fourth set of silverware, the overall experience was poor. Overall the place seems like an over-priced version of Doolittle's Grill (the menu style is even the same) with worse service. Next time I'll just make the trek a few miles further north to get better, more reasonably priced food and fantastic service. Definitely not coming back to this place.

Tom was our server, great food and service. Walleye and Hanger steak excellent items. Really a great place to eat. Just tell the cooks to wear their masks over their noses too. :)

I rarely give five stars but everything was perfect. The scallops were excellent, warning the sauce has a bite to it. Wife had the mahi mahi, another excellently cooked meal. Our server was Katie. What a wonderful experience for the meal and service. Katie was on top of everything from our drinks to desert. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Ambiance and flamed cooked rotisserie adds to the dining experience.

Service was expedient and respectable. Food was delicious. We had the half order of rotisserie chicken and the buffalo chicken mag and cheese. Both were excellent choices and you can tell the food was made from scratch. Dessert was a lemon tart and it was magnificent.

The only slight disappointment that I had was that the server didn't bring me my Moscow Mule in a copper mug, but just kidding, hahaha I'm not THAT picky. Great food, service and atmosphere. The Moscow Mule was on point by the way. Definitely would recommend.

We held a family gathering on Sat of about 20 people. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, from planning a menu, personalized menus, great and efficient service and great food! We were especially impressed with Kate and Megan who did an amazing job of keeping our beverages filled and our orders straight! We will definitely be back!
