We went here for my sister's birthday and the server was probably the best server I've had at any restaurant. The food was delicious and well prepared! We had a larger party so some of the appetizers were a little small given our party but we were able to order extra toast points, etc. I got the steak with a blue cheese crust, baked potato, and asparagus. The steak was great and the asparagus was done well but the potato was a little raw in the center. Overall it was a good experience!

Fantastic restaurant, the service and food quality are superior in every way to most other restaurants in the Twin Cites. I have been here more times that I can count for everything from business meetings, birthdays, and just for a great dinner. The service is in my top five of the best I have ever experienced at a restaurant, the food is always perfect and delicious. The patio is a unique experience in the summer and inside is warm feeling in the middle of a Minnesota winter.

First place I've ever been that didn't include any tomatoes in the caesar salad. Also, I understand getting stray dissimilar noodles at a place like Olive Garden, but not here. Food was par, atmosphere was good, service was normal. I expected greater satisfaction considering other reviews.

Very good, American food. Decor is rustic farm-reminiscent and slightly upscale, but doesn't require you to dress up. The pot pie could be a little thicker (my wife had) but it was tasty. I had the Prime Rib Dip and it was very good. Has patio seating, inside seating, and inside-but-open-air seating, a bar, and is between the Burnhaven Public Library and Red Lobster.

Love this place. Our new go to place for a nice casual dinner. Second time tonight. Great staff, nice atmosphere. Little to dark for my taste but my husband likes it this way. Food is delicious.
First time I had the chicken and it was very moist and delicious. Can t remember what my husband had but he loved it. Tonight we had the mussels, the sauce was just to die for. We shared a flatbread with sausage and Apricot chutney. Great combination. So good. Enough for two if you are not too hungry. Prices are decent. We will definitely go back for sure. Great place.

Place was very busy, service was knowledgeable and friendly however the food was just eeh. High price for below average food. Pasta dish was ordered with the wood fired chicken...hard to find the chicken in the dish and pasta/sauce was similar tasting to something you'd get out of a jar. Drink were a bit spendy but tasty. Not really a place I'd go again.

Visited last night on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious to say the least. As a previous kitchen manager I tend to be a little critical of things like dusty light fixtures in the dining room or a lack of hot water in the bathroom(the cooks use them sinks too) but this place passed all the markers and had wonderfully flavored food as well. Spot on service. I'll be back again very soon!

Service was good. Food not so much. I am not very picky but a $40 steak should be cooked to order. I did not send it back because I like steak at different stages. Not sure how you cook a steak to rare and make it tough to chew but they did it.

Nicest restaurant in Burnsville and among the nicest in the south metro. Ambiance is very nice. Outdoor patio IS the nicest. Food is American with a twist. Never been dissapointed. They have specials midweek on wine.

This restaurant was a bit of a disappointment. My family and I enjoy their sister restaurant, Doolittle's, and were excited to try Porter Creek. But the food, even with the similarities to Doolittle's, was not as good. Two of us had overdone fish, one had overdone chicken, and another had bland pasta. It stood out more than another restaurant might because of out familiarity with Doolittle's. The remainder of the evening was enjoyable. The restaurant's atmosphere is inviting and our waiter was very attentive. My big confusion is due to the similarities between Porter Creek and Doolittle's. Why have two restaurants in the same part of town be so similar? And with Porter Creek not living up to Doolittle's standards, it led to my disappointment.

Food is great especially the calamari... Rotisserie buffalo wings are sweet for me but at least they are cooked well for my taste, walleye fingers just fine, the flatbreads too. I love their kinky sangria coz I'm more on sweet wine, the white pear sangria is too much for me but it's all good!!! We recommend the place for a family with kids...

Visited Porter Creek for the first time and left with a new favorite restaurant! First, as an iced tea drinker, they served my tea with an actual 'tea spoon', which is rare, but so appreciated for stirring in sugar (it really is the little things in life). Then, I ordered the Italian Sausage and Apricot Chutney flatbread pizza - it was amazing - easily the best flatbread pizza I've ever eaten (and I've eaten many)! The bread they serve while you're waiting for your food was good, but not overly exciting; however, they did serve it with plenty of whipped butter, which was nice. The service was great, and I loved the feel of the place. I can't wait to go back!

The service was horrendous. The food was absolutely terrible, although I'm sure they have some good dishes. My wife's steak was so overdone it was chard and flaking black powder onto the plate. When we complained to our waitress, she sent a manager over who started to talk down to us about how steaks are made and how they are supposed to taste. Amazing. The decor was nice but unfortunately doesn't compensate for the poor food and service. We were so hoping this was going to be a good restaurant but unfortunately we cannot recommend it to anyone.

Wonderful! We sat outside on their patio, which turned out to be larger then I thought. The landscaping was well done and made one forget they were right next to a busy road. Service was fantastic. When a restaurant hires staff that know how to properly deal with allergies it can really make all the difference. Food was great. Especially the goat cheese balls! If you are allergic to dairy you need to try this.

My experience here has previously been ok but last night I went in and had a burger and a new york strip. We asked for them both to be medium..the burger was well done which I didn't cause a stink about and the steak was rare. I asked them to reheat the steak and it came back rare again and burnt on one side because instead of throwing it back on the grill they just tossed it on a pan. For 32 dollars a steak you better save your money for a real steakhouse. I won't be coming back.

Very cozy, homelike feel to the space. I was impressed with the menu selections and the prices were fairly reasonable given the quality. We had the iron steak, which was served in a special sauce, hash brown pancake, and broccolini. It was well cooked and a delight to our taste buds. We also ordered the buffalo mac and wow did that hit the spot! The sauce was delicious. Could use more rotisserie chicken though. For dessert we tried the molten cake. Super small portion but also rich and fulfilling. Absolutely loved it here and definitely going again to try out other menu items.

Walk up outside and the woodsmoke smell entices you. The atmosphere inside is warm and welcoming. We had a great meal. I had the smoked gouda burger. Delicious. The salads others had looked great too. Our bloody Mary's were tasty. For desert we shared the banana ice cream cake. Awsome along with some very good coffee. Highly recommended.

One of the worst restaurant ever. Managers think they are chefs but really my mom cooks better. Chicken has to many bones and the people there are to fat. Don t refill your drink because it s $100 to refill and chef Jackson doesn t wash his hands when he goes to the bathroom! When I use to wash dishes here? Dishes weren t even clean. Your eating dish water
