Saw all the negative reviews but decided to give it a shot anyway. As expected, my experience was not good. Spoke to Trisha Barry on the phone to confirm an appointment to see a specific CRV that was on the lot. Coming from south NJ it took me approx 2 hours to get to Brooklyn. I asked Trisha that if the car so happens to be sold before the 5pm appointment please let me know so i don't drive all the way to Brooklyn. I get to the dealership at 5pm and I am told that Trisha is here but someone else will be helping me. I wait about 5 minutes and I am introduced to another saleswoman who tells me that the CRV I came to see was sold earlier in the day at 12pm but there are several other cars on the lot. Typical dealership crap to get you in the doors. So let this be a lesson to anyone else looking to give the dealership a gamble. Don't waste your time. I have several Honda cars and have done business with several Honda dealerships in the Tri State area. Plaza Honda is definitely a typical Honda mill shop. In my personal opinion, if you are in the market for a new or used Honda check out Honda of Freehold or Hamilton Honda. Both dealerships have lifetime free oil changes and lifetime free car washes if you get a car from them, unfortunately they didn't have the specific CRV I'm in the market for other wise I would have stuck with them. So once again Im sure there are those few people who have done business with Plaza and it has gone well but do your homework and see how many negative reviews they have. The negative far outweighs the positive reviews.

Waited for a bit then the manager Michael said I pulled the phone call you did have an appointment but was for 930 it's now 1030 make another appointment. Such a trash dealership. Spoke to Phil Esposito who was rude and told me I had "no right" to complain despite everyone in the dealership saying they'd help but then never come back. Called my friend and I lazy for not going to another state to return my vehicle, and was an overall doucheface. Honestly this is probably the worst dealership I ever went to.

If you make an appointment be prepared that you will not be meeting with the person you spoke to on the phone. Appointments aren't necessary. Only go if you have found the car you like on his website. Even though I had a miserable experience I think if someone was selling a vehicle or buying a regular car they could do well.

What a bunch of lying, cheating, dishonest scumbag...

What a bunch of lying, cheating, dishonest scumbags! My husband and I want to lease a Honda Civic. We each called, separately, for a quote over the phone. My husband spoke to Amira; I spoke with Myra. We both made it very clear that we want the final price over the phone, since my husband would have to take off from work to go down to the dealership and he wouldn't have time to haggle when he gets there. Both salespeople informed us that we can have the Civic for $125 a month with zero down and around $1400 in closing fees (tax upfront, bank, DMV fees) and NO ADDITIONAL CHARGES. We asked several times if there would be ANY kind of additional costs; we were assured that there wouldn't. My husband drove down there - it took him an hour just to get there with traffic - and was handed a document that listed charges totaling about $2200 in closing fees, NOT INCLUDING TAX as originally requested. The tax was to be rolled into the monthly payment, which would now be $136.05. Basically, they were adding on a thousand dollars in total to the price quoted! When my husband protested, the person he was dealing with, Malik Anwar, went to consult the manager and then came back to tell him that they cannot honor the original price. Not only did these people waste several hours of my husband's precious time, but they also cost us a great deal on another vehicle. We had an amazing offer on a different, fully loaded car from a reputable dealer whose services we previously used and were perfectly satisfied with. We rejected that offer in favor of the Civic from Plaza Auto. Now that deal is no longer available. So if you are considering leasing/buying from Plaza Auto because of a great quote that a salesperson gave you, save yourself the time and aggravation and look elsewhere, because you can be certain that regardless of the assurances they give you, you will not end up paying the amount you were quoted at Plaza Auto.

I needed my 2016 MDX serviced on 10/29. I called Valley Stream Acura and they wanted 59 bucks for an oil change. Called Acura of Brooklyn and scheduled an appointment. I met with Stephaina and she was amazing! I left the location and plan on returning. My experience with her was so good i walked to the sales room and leased a 2016 TLX for my son. I had reserved a very similar car to the one I went to see, with a little more mileage and a lower price, reserved on Vroom. Me, figuring I'd save myself the two week wait, I see this car online. The exact same car Mazda Mazda3 Sedan Base White low miles. I call ahead and speak to Juan. He tells me that there are "no dealer fees", I tell him I just want to go in see the car and buy it cash, and see if we can negotiate a better price. Since the price I was paying in vroom was $17,000 this one was $17,200.
I look at the car, I'm being nice and say lets talk money. The saleswoman seemed nice enough at first. But then she starts adding all of these ridiculous fees to the price. It was like that episode of Seinfeld.
I explain that I already have a similar car reserved for $17000 on vroom.
Then she says that $17,211 is just what the dealership would have to sell it for to break even, and that she gets no commission at that price. So I agree to go up to $17,500. Then her story changes again. She says the car is reserved because someone is trying to finance it for $19,999. Then she shows me some other car on the lot for a similar price, it's not appealing to me since I like Mazdas. Then she says she'll call me in 2 days. Fat chance. I wouldn't give them my money even if they knocked $1,000 off of the price. What a horrible experience and a waste of my time. I can't wait until Carvana and Vroom make these awful dealerships a thing of the past.

We were very pleased to have a business with the Carlos Ottley. He holds a professional attitude, has a respect for customers, and know exactly what customer wants. When we came to the automall we had our mind settled on the exact type and the price of the car. Fortunately, where was the car that we had in mind, although we thought that we should continue looking, because the price was little bit higher that we expected. In spite of our doubts, Carlos offer us a very good deal and after talking about the details we decided to buy this car. I also should notice that Carlos was very patient and gave us time to talk with our friend about the car, it was important for us. He also was straightforward about the deal and all the details. DOT NOT GO THERE! Spend your money elsewhere. So the story is I needed an oil change for my brand new Honda CRV. So I thought to myself what is a better place to go if not an authorized dealer?! So I went and got my first oil change at the Honda Plaza! My oil change was a few month ago at 3k miles. It took them forever to get my car out but whatever I didn't care. guess what now that is summer time the car is at 6K miles and the A/C is not working. Surprise!!! I swear it was working when I first got it! I do not know what they did to the car but the AC is no longer working. Just blowing air. Save yourself the hustle, do not go there!

I went to this dealership to buy a 7 passenger Kia sorento. I evaluated different 7 passenger vehicles over the course of the last 3 months. I found the Kia Sorento to be the best fit for my family of 4 which includes a new born and on occasion my wife's 3 siblings. I met with a salesman from the dealership and told him the make and model I wanted and 3 items that were a must-1,Apple car play, 2 heated seats, and 3 ,third row seating. I asked the salesman to send me what cars he had in stock with specs. After 2 days of not hearing from him I reached out and found that he ordered a car for me and assured me it had all that I wanted. The next day I took a look at the car and moved on to business for 1.5 hrs for pricing then 1.5hrs for signing and tags. The salesman only showed me a couple of things with the car and off I went. He didn't show me all the features. Over a week later my wife was puzzled on how to open the third row. I tried to open the third row only to find a styrofoam cargo insert where the seats should be . I was told when I found this issue with my purchase there is only a 5 day return policy. I do not wish to return the vehicle. I only want what i was assured i had , "the third row seating". Please contact me to fix this issue. I did not get any help from your salesman today, only received an attitude from him as if he didn't know me. I feel disrespected,taken advantage of, and have had the 1st worst new car buying experience.

From the time I entered the showroom, I was acknowledged and a salesman was selected for me. It was Mr. Frank Mosca. Mr. Mosca has a very warm personality. Not a "let's get down to business'' attitude. This went a long way in making me feel comfortable. He wasn't hurried. He just casually talked and asked questions. He showed me cars and took me for a test drive. I wasn't completely sure and he let me know that he was in no hurry, that I should take my time because his big concern was that I be completely satisfied.
That made me feel much more relaxed because I wasn't absolutely sure of what I wanted.
I explained my financial concerns as well as my physical needs as I carry a walker and cane wherever I go. Mr Mosca worked up numbers and went back and forth between his manager and myself. He really worked hard to get me what I wanted at a price I could live with.
As much time passed, he went out personally to buy me something to eat and drink.
For my part, I felt that he was working on my behalf rather than Hyundai's.
At the end of the day, I walked out completely satisfied with a brand new car. And, to top everything off, Mr Mosca drove my other car to my home so I wouldn't have to come back the next day for it.
One could not ask for a more thoughtful, patient, concerned person to conduct business with.

The worst service I have ever received anywhere. They wanted to force me to sign a p2ice of paper saying my car was in good working order and I had inspected it before I even received my car back. Read the fine print if you go here. It should be criminal the way they treat people.

The manager of the Hyundai service department is impossible to deal with. I was also advised by the rental car agency that he deals better with men than woman and if I had a man call and say there where my husband I'd get further. Funny enough it works! Sad that this is the way people are treated in 2019, less then because of our gender. Meanwhile he has. A staff who is incredibly rude, gives out misinformation and says thins such as that's your problem not mine that a recalled part for your car is backordered for 1 to 7 months.

Stay away from this place, go anywhere, avoid this place at all costs. They are rude, lack knowledge 9f the of field and you end up having to deal with corporate die to their lack of ability to assist you. I'm unsure of how they are even still open.

I can have this review go on for lever, but no one wants to read that. Bottom line. Avoid this place!

I waited for three hours to change my front brake. They didn't change the front break but was offered discount for back break that they told me a week ago that it was still in good shape. Snake oil sales man, other time I was told I need to change my fan belt and water pump well I went and got a second opinion they showed me the fan belt and it was in excellent form.

Horrible service. When we got there, we were sent from one person to the other. They were only interested in selling new cars. We called and made an appointment, once there the car we wanted was not available. They just said to look at another and will only cost two to three thousand more. Simply horrible customer service, I have never seen anything like it. They don t care how they treat their customers.

My son just bought a 2010 Toyota Corolla from Plaza Auto Mall. Our sale representive was Manal M. She was very informative, kind, and helpful. Our experience was very pleasant and we have gotten one of the best sale rep on our side. I also would like to add the financial manager Jack B who work on our loan was very knowledgeable and honest. I am truly impressed with their service and will recommend anyone to this dealer ship.I must say it was one of our best experience working with Plaza Auto Mall.

The Service department has a serious lack of communication. The computer system and records are not the same in each of their systems. I went in for a repair on my windshield and was scheduled for the wrong time of day when the job could not be done. They had done the repair before but only half a job. I had specifically explained what the problem was before making the appointment and then was told to come back at another time.

This is place is a rip off, harassing salesmen and they won t even bargain with you. Definitely not the place to buy a car. Especially Honda. I went to bay ridge Honda, a big difference and more pleasant to buy there.
