I been going to Planet Honda for about 20 years. They are the best. I want to thank Anthony Hartley for for taking the time to satisfy my needs to not only purchase a vehicle but to assist me in making the right selection. I am completely happy and loving my vehicle. Believe you me, he's awesome and amazing. The best Executive salesperson. I am not just saying that. I know he hears it time in and time out but as a long time customer who has seen many come and go, Anthony Hartley ROCKS!! He is very humble and understanding to the customers' needs.
Planet Honda is by foremost the best DEALER customer experience I've faced. I wouldn't want it another way or place. C. Torres

BUYERS BEWARE! CAME IN TO BUY SOME PARTS FOR MY HONDA, TOLD THE PERSON I AM ONLY BUYING WHAT I THOUGHT I MIGHT NEED, ENDED UP NOT NEEDING SOME PARTS, ONLY TO BE TOLD THEY ARE SPECIALIZED PARTS AND COULD NOT RETURN. IF I WOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT I WOULD NOT BUY IN FIRST PLACE, AFTER SOME LONG COVERSATION THEY RETURNED BUT 20 PERCENT RESTOCKING FEE WAS TAKEN. Financed a certified used Honda Accord only to find when I left the lot that it was pulling to the left I returned that same week and advised them and they charged me for an alignment when I had just literally bought the car. Upon leaving the lot. Again I still felt that the car was pulling to the left I returned later on the following week only to be told that the car needed an alignment again, no answer as to why the alignment was not perform properly the 1st time and also had to fight to get a refund. Was then also told that my rear brakes needed resurfacing which I checked at my local Mavis and my brakes are still at 40% and did not need any resurfacing or changing. I lost 3 days of work returning to the dealer, never got as little as an apology or answers as to why I was initially charged for an alignment that was not performed properly or maybe even at all. I have lost all trust in their service department and will be performing all of my regular servicing elsewhere. Check everything on the car before leaving the lot including basics such as brakes and alignment, also I don't recommend you perform your service at this dealer.

I took a personal day from work on 11/29/19 to test-drive a new Honda. After calling several Honda dealers in NY and NJ, I found the Civic SI sedan at Planet Honda. I spoke with a salesperson over the phone to confirm the car was available for a test drive before heading 45 minutes to NJ over a toll bridge. Needless to say, I was invited to come test drive the car.

However, upon arriving I was informed by a salesperson that the general manager would not allow me to test drive the car because it was Black Friday and there was potential for too much traffic on the main road. When I asked if there were suitable back roads and side streets they were left dumbfounded.

The staff at Planet Honda was not at all concerned for the huge inconvenience they caused, nor the subsequent waste of my time and money as I then made many phone calls to other NJ dealerships, but was unsuccessful in finding the same model. All while unnecessarily driving on NJ toll roads in the process.

My wife and I were blown away by the complete lack of professionalism at this place.

Typical quid pro, five stars in exchange of some f...

Typical quid pro, five stars in exchange of some freebies. Every dealership does that so I won't judge.
BUT what I don't like (or even hate) is, after they sell the car, they have literally NO CONTROL of it. I mean when I signed for the car they said they will pull somewhere for a wash and detail. Okay...fine...then after they drove back my car, guess what? I got a dent and a scratch! They choose to neglect but I noticed the dent. So finally they agreed to repair it for free.
I came back another time for the fix after they told me it's done. I was here around 11:30, I just wanted to pick up my key and go. What they did? They asked me to sit in the lounge and they were enjoying the company lunch. After they finished their lunch with my empty stomach, I waited for 2 hours to finally get my key! That's the worst part I hate most. The service is so bad that I can't even believe it's an equivalent to the sales! And all of these are not my fault.
So my heart is hurted, but I'm having my maintenance very soon. I might put back to five like I did at the first time. But I need to show my disappointment now. Watch out, I'm expecting a better service next time.

He was friendly, knowledgeable and willing to negotiate so that we got a price we were happy with. The one empty star is due to the wait to see a Manager so I could say no to all the extras. But that happens at every dealership.

I went to planet Honda to lease a USV. And to trade in my Ford Escape 2018. 22.000 miles clean car in excellent condition. One of the sales managers was rude and unprofessional. He told me no deal. I don t think that sales manager should be working for planet Honda. Gives bad reputation to the dealership. We need mangers that are professional and that are willing to help me as a customer. Specially in the world we live in today. I don t recommend planet Honda to none of my formers employees and my formers mangers from Burger King frenchisee and Mc Donalds frenchisee. Either. It s a total failure dealership. No customer satisfaction at all.

They just work to slow. Come on people we have things to do too. 4 hrs it's just crazy. When I asked how long is going to take they told me 1 to 2 hrs so I was ok no problem but 4hrs and 35 minutes to be exactly. It's just crazy.

I had the worst experience ever; I had gone to lease a Honda CRV- EXL 2019; in addition to the $2995/- at signing they tagged on $2775/- for taxes and fees- and yes I forgot it included $389/- for Safe and Secure (Insurance in case I lose my key;) $153/- for Nitrogen coz they fill Nitrogen in the tyres and $595/- Acquisition Fee, $330/- DMV fee) The manager was rude and acted like he s doing me a favor by saying he ll take away the Safe and Secure and Nitrogen fees- this is after several conversations with them to let them know I m coming from quite a distance and wanted to know what prices they were quoting to begin with so that it would be a straight forward deal. Never going back to Honda again!

Bought Honda pilot 2016 EXL. Paid $43000 without any upgrades, or accessories or any changes. I needed the free oil change within my mileage and date coverage, they didn't have any appointments available which i teid calling at least 3 weeks prior. So I decided to walk in today. After 2 and half hour, They changed the oil and charged me $38 for it. Really! Never going there again to buy any of the car.

I was very happy with my experience at Planet Honda, especially working with Ahmad Radwan! Since I was buying used I wanted to get the car looked at independently before buying, and Ahmad spent almost 2 hours coming with me to a local mechanic to accommodate my request! This was my first time buying a car and Ahmad was very patient in explaining the whole process to me. Excellent service!
Also, Planet Honda's no lemon guarantee is 100% true. My car had a couple small issues pop up in the first few days, but all repairs were covered at no charge! Now my car operates better than ever and I am confident that I will enjoy my purchase for years to come!

I bought my car here a few months ago- Neil was a great help !

I came for an oil change this week- I had an appointment at 8:15 am. They didn t take my car in until 9:50 and I didn t leave until 11:30. I should not have had to wait that long especially with an appointment. Charles Mitchell was the guy helping me out. He was extremely rude and did not know his information. He kept telling me my car was a v6 when on the paperwork stated that it s a v4. He also tried charging me for the oil change- I think he thought he could get away with it because he didn t think I knew what I was talking about. The paperwork showed that I got 2 free oil changes within a year and that still wasn t good enough for him and he got even more of an attitude. I had to get the managers involved and they were a lot more pleasant. Moral of the story I will get my last complimentary oil change here and for any other issues/maintenance with my car I will go somewhere with a better staff and be put as a priority while having an appointment.

Buying a car is usually a very stressful process, however, the guys and gals at Planet Honda made it fun, easy and completely stress free. Every woman I spoke to on the phone making my appt. was super courteous and kind - Shalitha, Alice and Courtney, these ladies were the best. My sales guy, Frank Bonilla was an absolute joy to work with. He was easy going, and made me feel completely comfortable from the moment I sat down at his desk. And although the vehicle I originally came in to purchase was no longer available, he made sure he found something almost identical to ensure I didn't walk out of that building without a set of keys in my hand. And let's not forget my new buddy Joe Messina in financing. Let's be honest, the money side of things is the most stressful part of the buying experience, but Joe made it anything but. He greeted me with a warm, welcoming smile, was easy to talk to and he worked hard to get me the best possible rate and payment to fit my needs. There were a lot of high fives during my buying experience - these folks are truly awesome and I would recommend this dealership to everyone I know. Keep it up guys, you rock.

I bought a 2014 Honda Civic LX from Planet Honda yesterday. From start to finish, it was the best experience I have ever had! Will, our salesman, was amazing. He was so helpful and was able to answer all our questions from the time we walked in. He was patient and able to get us into exactly the car we went in for. He was a great guy all around, I highly recommend him. Ed the GM was just as awesome. He was so helpful and friendly and was able to really help us get into the car we wanted. Planet Honda has a great environment, a beautiful showroom, and amazing staff. You feel comfortable there, not like other dealerships that are pushy and make you uncomfortable. They really listen to you and help you get the car that is right for you. You can tell they are above and beyond just by walking in the door. The place is filled with happy customers. I HIGHLY recommend Planet Honda if your in the market for a new car. Honda cars speak for themselves, but when you have great people to help you purchase the car, it makes the whole experience worth while. Thank you Planet Honda, Will, and Ed!!

I bought Honda CR-V 2016 from planet honda on September 2016 and sales person Ryan and manager Wang are great person and you get good deal buy a new car. My complain is that today I went to the planet honda service center, they rip off my pocket. They charged me $65 each for engine air filter and cabin air filter which we can buy for $15 each in stores and online, but I learned when I got home. This is my first car, so I really don't know. Also I done wheel alignment for $95, which I might not need to do. Now I learned they rip off my $295, which reasonable cost maximum $150. If you want to buy new car this is right place, but not for service.

It was my first time leasing a car, and Nick was a salesman. 5 stars for him because he was very helpful and professional, and made sure the whole process of leasing went smooth and fast.

The only downside was it took long to see the finance office to close the deal at the end. It was Monday, and I had to sit and wait for over 2 hours just to be told at the end that it was a closing time for the day and to come back on Tues. I still had to wait over 1 hour on Tues as well. The finance people were good. It just seemed there were not enough finance people in the office, hence longer wait time.

Bought a 2011 TOYOTA Sienna and literally less than one week of having the car the cable on one of the sliding door snapped. Called the dealer and was told they didn t have to fix it because it was not a safety issue. So they told me I had to pay over $400!!! Mind you, whatever I had I used to get the car in the first place. Oh and I forgot to mention that the sales rep told me the car came with a bumper to bumper warranty for 30 days or 1000 miles but that it was limited . Another thing, the tire pressure light keeps coming on and all they do is just keep reset it every time I bring it in. Needless to say I will not recommend, ever, even my enemies to buy anything here.

This Honda dealer is trash, wasted my time 2016 right before my new year. I'm from New York, Had intrest in a particular car, I made a appointment to see the car. When I get into the dealer asking for the car I made appointment for, it was sold already the day prior. Moral of the story that particular dealer cared more about their profit more than you as the customer to top it all off the sales man attire was sloppy, joe had his zipper down the whole time! Unprofessional I say! Never again.

I needed an upgrade from my old vehicle and chose to stop by PlanetHonda on route 22, when I arrived, I was greeted by Samy, the sales representative who was so courteous and informative. He asked all the right questions in order to show me a few vehicles that I immediately liked and he even let me test drive them! I was so happy with the vehicle that I chose at the end and even happier when Samy made every effort to accommodate my financial budget and expeditiously arrange the financing to best suit my needs in order to walk out with the
vehicle that I wanted.

I went to Planet Honda on Saturday, May 21st looking for a used car and spoke with salesman Franklin Bonilla. He was very patient and attentive with me. He was willing to work with me and addressed all of my questions. I got my car this past Saturday! Overall, the dealership in Union on Route 22 seems to make a great effort for their customers and I would strongly recommend Franklin and the dealership to anyone because of their willingness to make every effort they can to please the customer.

I leased a 2013 Accord this past Saturday. I love my new vehicle. Very happy with the service at Planet Honda, this is my third car with them.

Update- it is now 7/31/2019 and we are leasing our 3rd Pilot with Planet Honda. Great service and we enjoy working with Francis Duah, he has assisted us with numerous leases over the last 11 years.

My experience with Planet Honda is always mediocre...

My experience with Planet Honda is always mediocre at most. Yet, the help Ashraf was very pleasant. He was very understanding of our needs which was very refreshing, especially when car dealerships are notorious for being exhausting. Ashraf made this usually tense experience actually pleasurable. He helped us get the price we wanted with the car we desired the most and we walked out with said car.

We just purchased a 2018 Honda civic sport touring and we could not be happier. We worked out a great deal with our salesman, Beesh who was amazing. He was honest, polite and patient. Everything you want in a salesman. The manager we worked with was also great, Beesh and the manager worked together to get us a very good deal and again we could not be happier. I just purchased a vehicle from Planet Honda and had an exceptional experience. First, the efforts they have put into the health and safety of their customers during this covid-19 situation put my mind at ease. They checked temperature of every person as they entered, everyone wore masks and requested that customers do the same. Every desk, table and even the picnic tables outside had Plexi glass to separate ourselves from the representatives and other customers. Tables were spaced appropriately and every car was sanitized between test drives. Yes, this meant some things took a little longer, but it was worth it for the piece of mind. The representatives did not join us for the test drives (which was appreciated from a health standpoint) but were still able to answer any and all questions we had about the vehicle before and after the test drive. Our sales consultant, Antonio Matos, was extremely wonderful to work with. He was knowledgeable and straightforward and made us feel confident and comfortable as moved forward with the purchase. He made the process stress free, which is incredible considering all the changes that had to be implemented to ensure customer safety. All in all, we had a pleasant experience and now my husband is looking to replace his current vehicle and Antonio and Planet Honda are at the top of our list of trusted dealers.
