Planet Fitness Review

The staff is friendly and the gym is very clean. I do wish they had a steam room. It is 24 hours so that's good too.

They lack certain equipments, too much cardio equipment not enough of others

Equipment is kept up with pretty well And new, but the people who work here suck. The Management is new and doesn't know how to handle a customer respecfully. Even the employees roll their eyes at customers while on the phone

Facility is clean and you never have to wait to use a machine, there s plenty to go around. Only complaint would be the staff. They don t even acknowledge when you come in or leave, they are too busy hanging out with each other, talking, flirting etc.

(((VERY CAREFUL))) Don't fall into the TRAP of these people !!! They took my account details wrongly and charged me a penalty for late payment, then I don't know how, they got the data from my other bank account and WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION they debited the money from that other account, I sent him about 15 e -mails to answer for your mistake and never responded.
Is a gotcha! Do you pay 20 cents of registration and 10 dollars a month? LIE, they will take your money away !!

No pressure gym. Danny is the coolest manager. They have great Aquamassage beds that shoot water on you but don't get you wet

Ran/walked this 12k for the first time on 5/21/17 and had a really enjoyable experience seeing all the costumes and going down the scenic CA route.

I go to the plantation planet fitness five times a week I always see the employee Mariam she s always working hard always has a smile I never seen anyone clean the machine so well she never misses an inch she cleans where other people don t if I had my own company I d hire her myself she does the job well above her paygrade she will move up the company ladder quickly

I don't dislike them or like them. I just think that their advertising guy needs to find a new job. You don't say you're open 24/5 and then close 9pm on Friday. Dafuq? So really you should be saying open 24 hours Monday- Thursday. I'm charging you 100$ for that service.

The two starts is because it's clean and the machines are not cramed close together however they dust while you working out I'm going to say something next time because I have allergies don't need a dust feather next to me when I'm on the treadmill and the biggest issue occurred yesterday when about ten of us showed up at opening hours and as more people started arriving there was no one there to open the gym even 30 mins later when I went back home. Smh. I have to early in the morning now I'm contemplating if I should go today.

Another great location. I was there for and hour and enjoyed every moment.

Gym it s self is very good. Plenty of equipment to go round. You promote a no judgement Gym, yet I m the one that gets looked at not just by the members but by staff to. Im used to being judge but defeats the object you are trying to promote. I was only in plantation for about 3 days but to charge $20 dollars for a day pass is ridiculous specially when your monthly fees are $21-$25 a month. I paid this due to the fact I take my training very seriously and looking to compete when I get back to the UK. I don t think I ll ever use a planet fitness gym again.

Great gym, well kept. Always clean. Everything you need to get in shape and stay in shape!

The place is newer, clean, and affordable. It would be nice if there was some type of ledge/shelf in the shower to hold essentials. Beware of patrons gabbing on their cell phones...annoying but staff cannot intervene. Its my "go to" fitness center in a pinch. Nice place.

Here goes! I started going to this gym in January , everything was cool the staff were nice escipally the assistant manager MONICA :) it was always clean and not too crowded if you go after 7pm. Fast forward to June the have a whole new staff at the front with not so nice attitudes. Also They charged my account 3 times in one month on different days...And when I bought my Bank statement in they did not correct the charges. So I dedcided screw this and there whole 360 rude ass staff I canceled my membership -___- I'll be going to another gym.

Friendly staff, clean, all machines work, a lot of each machine never have to wait on any, feel comfortable working out which is the reason for me switching from You fit.

I m visiting town and was told I couldn t work out at this location due to my membership type and the fact that I hadn t paid to use locations outside of my home gym. I ve never heard of this because every other time I go here they ve let me in. I guess the guy on shift was in a bad mood, pretty terrible customer service (especially since I drove 20 mins to get there). I ve had a membership for years and want to switch gyms now, I didn t realize how ripped off I was getting.

Great gym! Its a little small but its clean, has all the essential equipment and friendly staff. Can't beat the price.

I'm starting to get real annoyed with this location...the staff here is rude..obese...and out of order.....honestly get rid of the short plump black girl..she is ghetto and LOUD....free trainer is never available....i only come here because it's close by...will start going to another location...the male manager was nicer than the NEW female manager...

Terrible experience!!! I transferred my membership down here from college. They charged me the annual fee 3 times and haven't received my money back after two months. Don't Do It.!!!!!

I am here at night. Some of the kindest over night folks. They can connect and not be robot humans. It's a blast of fresh air in this era

The employees are FANTASTIC! From a customer's perspective, it seems like they all get along so well like a family and I love it! They are always so nice to me and the other customers. The facility is constantly being cleaned by customers and employees, I feel very safe working out here right now. Sadly they are still making customers work out with masks on at all times but that's not their fault, they're just following city / county laws.

I train with Kenneth about 2-3 times a week. He s always motivating and professional. He encourages me to push through my reps, but doesn t speak negatively when I can t always complete it. He s NOTHING like my drill sergeants from the Army! LMBO. I absolutely love this location!!! Everyone is friendly, it s always clean & it truly is a judgment-free zone . Gym that's not too crowded and has variety of exercise equipment.

Read every line before signing any paper!!! I haven t lived in Florida to use this location in almost a year, however I knew i would be charged for that years agreement. When I called to see why I was still being charged even though my year is up, I was told I need to cancel in person or by mail... why would you continue to charge me even though my year is up! Why do I have to cancel when I only signed up for a year?! And why am I even being charged if I m so many mile away from this location.... I m beyond upset! I feel as if this specific location is a fraud, the manager was very rude and seem to don t even care what I was saying... I asked for a name, and was told that information cannot be given... there s something clearly not right....

Kenneth is an excellent trainer. Very polite and knowledgeable. He is an asset to your establishment

I went in two months ago wanting to cancel my membership and maybe pick it up after things started looking better. The guy talked me into freezing my account for three months instead. I thought, I ll try it and see how I feel then. I looked the other day and I noticed I was charged the past two months. I went today, and the girl said that my account was never frozen. I signed something, but I don t remember the guy s name from two months ago. I cancelled my account completely today.

Absolute nightmare! Been here for a few months now. Started out ok, but then the manager and staff are watching my every move. I go to get my things from the locker and a female staff member walks in, sits on the bench and watches me. I ask are you on break, she says no, the manager told me to come sit in here. Now, I've never created or caused any issues, I've only ever gone into the locker where I lock my personal belongings. There were 2 other staff members who worked there, supposedly for a brief moment, who also used to trail me while I was working out. Are they questioning my vision disability? I will be cancelling my black card membership. Discrimination and harassment are violations of my civil rights.

I have been to many excellent planet fitness before, however this one is the all-time worst.. All of their extras were out of service due to no Internet service. Customer service is zero to the left..

Of all of my gym experiences, and there have been many, this has to be my best experience by far! Trainer Kenneth Murphy is the absolute best at what he does! He challenges you, pushes you, and encourages you to keep reaching your goals!!! Love my gym!!!

This location has the best working massage chairs I love it!!!

This manager is a criminal stolen money from the account

Pretty good gym and a nice value. It was clean and the front desk staff were very nice. The only thing I don't like is that everyone is required to wear a mask all the time. The Delray Beach location only requires a mask when you enter/leave the facility. Please loosen this restriction.

Just signed up yesterday. So far I'm in love with this gym. I got the black membership. It's $30 a month. Full use of all PF gyms, tanning, aqua massage, ( greatest thing ever invented, ) chair massage, 50% off merch etc. Tons of cardio equipment. Tons of TVs, although yesterday the NBA playoff game had no sound. Nice lockers. Trainers to help you. A 30 minute workout station that hits your whole body quickly. Weights, strengthening equipment. All around LOVED my 1st workout here. It's a little cold in there but, better than being hot. Very clean & cleaning supplies everywhere to use. I mean tanning, massage & gum for $30 a month is a great deal. I used the gym, stand up tanning machine & the aqua massage chair. And there's a Publix in the plaza. Huge bonus. Also a Chase bank & Sprint store. I use both. All in all totally happy I signed up.

I absolutely love this gym from the staff that i see everyday when i come in to even the manger Kenny he is a great guy and always make sure his gym members are taken care off. There is always a staff member walking around cleaning the machines. And always a greeting staff member with a smile on his or her face when coming and leaving. I highly recommend this planet fitness if you are in the south Florida area especially plantation.

The personal trainer tried to have sex with me immediately, he's light skin and slim muscular. I can't even go to Planet Fitness anymore because I'm uncomfortable.

They will not change the channel. They think everyone wants to workout to varies CNN channels. They give you looks like they're better than you.

They are very frugal with the black card amenities. I guess it's because they are not getting a lot of members. I don't think they have a friendly environment like the other Planet Fitnesses.

Kenneth is the trainer at this location. He gives an awesome Thursday night cardio circuit session at 6:30 p.m. Its the best 30 minute workout! i I really enjoy the variety & challenge he put into the sessions.

I like it. They have different types of exercise machines. And they keep the place clean and tidy.

The lost the file on my cancellation and will not reimburse me for not using their service. Make sure you keep your cancellation paperwork or this company will just keep on charging you. Unhelpful staff and rude manager.

After I cancel on June 12 2019 still charging me for 6 month until I notice. After summiting all bank statement. They said won't approved at these time.
I gues they really need the money. Please make sure to check after canceling so won't happen to you.

I visited this location from my Pompano Beach home gym. I happen to be visiting a friend in Plantation so I figured I would get in a quick workout. I only have the single pass, but I figured I would pack my bag and head out. Unbeknownst to me Leiha would be waiting for me at the counter. She had no understanding in me visiting this location for a 1 time workout and demand that I upgrade my membership or pay for a day pass. Me leaving my wallet at home I was stuck in between a rock and hard place. Leiha had no understanding and stood there still faced and not blinking like a zombie. If it had not been for me having Apple Pay to pay for a day pass I would have had to return back to my friends home feeling defeated, lethargic, and bit silly. I remomend this young lady be more empathetic and excercise her discression/people skills.

The facility is kept really clean and the staff is very polite the trainer is very helpful and professional

I love this gym, the customer service is impeccable. There s enough equipment for everyone. I left the other gym for this one! And I don t regret it.

Worst experience of my life! lost my card forgot to update my billing got charged a late fee, paid the $41 dollars talked to the clerk said he would update my account and what do you know 3 weeks later I m paying another $47 and I goto cancel they tell me I have to pay another $20 and what do you know their systems are down now I can t cancel! Now I have to take off work to go see a manager because they are only there in the morning to pay more money. What a scam!

Clean gym and great location! I wish they would add more equipment like medicine balls, kettlebells and even the Synergy360, like others PFs have. Super friendly staff make you feel welcomed every time you enter.

Where do I start, this gym is what I think about when I think of the perfect gym. It started with the location and excellent the commute was. It quickly moved to the awesome energy and knowledge that you get from the GM; Kendy here, he is eager to help and will to take time with you. Also they understand what you are striving for and they WILL get you there and further, while having fun. I will definitely be returning for a round two, hope to see you there!

My dad and I went in for info to sign up. The young man at the desk started to tell us about the no contract, no commitment package we asked about. He seemed a flustered but we were patient. He told us the monthly fee and pro rated the amount since we decided to sign up.
At no point were we told about an annual fee, even after asking a bunch of questions.
Well a few days ago a I noticed a fee I didn't know about had been deducted by Planet fitness. When I immediately called this is when I was told about the yearly fee and it's not refundable. I was also going to cancel because the knee injury I have was getting worse so I was barely able to go to the gym.
Had I known about this fee I could hung

cancelled way before , plus the new year hasn't even started yet. I don't appreciate feeling ambushed and not knowing all the facts to make an informed decision. Cancelling membership and will not be going to any Planet fitness ever again

I was in the area and decided to go to this gym. I prefer my home gym in Tamarac as it has more equipment but this location has friendly staff and is clean
