Terrible customer service and zero significant upgrades. Once Pixelgrade pockets your money, you are basically left alone with a theme that is updated only once or twice a year max (and which only patches badly written code or design flaws, no real features upgrades). Most of their themes fail to be compatible with the latest versions of WordPress (no compatibility with Gutenberg because they don't like it and rather stick to the old editor), PHP, and third party plugins which are necessary to make their theme work. Pixelgrade has a short term vision and mission ( oriented), and only cares about potential prospects, not already acquired clients. WordPress theme editor Qode Interactive is for instance the absolute opposite of Pixelgrade: they offer regular and significant updates, listen to their customers, and keep their product up to date and compatible with WordPress. So don't tell people it is not possible to offer affordable themes while maintaining them properly at the same time.
