We pretended to be Adam and Eve - the apples were good. Hay ride didn't have hay, but hey the views were good. The staff were so kind it almost creeped me out. We spent some time deciding what orchard to go to and this one didn't disappoint. CHECK IT OUT!

Very small piece of property for how much traffic comes through there during their open season. Their hiking trail is very seldom open so you have one short path to walk up to. No picking of your own apples and very little of the orchard experience you're trying to seek unless you catch it on one of their themed days. You'll find the only thing you can really do there is go in their store and browse their items. The food is good, I like their turnovers, but forego the mincemeat. For them saying that their mincemeat pie has beef, the one we got had zero beef in it anywhere.

Great place for the family! Lots of great Apple choices, and the baked goods are very good as well. This is a very busy place, the sheriff was out directing traffic on the road to the orchard the day we went.

Terrible experience. Drove over an hour to this orchard because their website says they're open until 7pm. Got there at 6pm and they were closed. The owner says that the sales room is what is open until 7, but the orchard closes at 5. Are you kidding!! Will never be coming back to this orchard. You can't even pick apples from the trees, pumpkins are like $15, and the bakery is over priced. Bummer. Thank goodness there are other orchards around. Don't waste your time!!

They have the most delicious chocolate chip/oatmeal cookies ever! If you don't venture over for the wonderful goodies, at least walk inside for the heavenly smell! I purchase a new bag of apple scented potpourri to put in the window sill of my bedroom... oh, the delightful aroma practically all the year through, even with the window closed! And the tractor ride out to get a giant pumpkin is pretty fun, too!

This is our favorite orchard in the metro area mostly for the baked goods and desserts. The apple donuts, apple turnovers and cider are the best around! They have corn mazes and a pumpkin patch and it s a super fun spot to take the family.

We've been going for many, many years.. a family tradition! Love the baked goods and always get our pumpkins at the pumpkin patch!! This year they were only letting so many people in the building.. was very irritating and not needed. Many who were waiting were unhappy!!

If you're looking for an orchard to visit just for a family/friend trip, this place is great. There's lots to do, eat, and buy, and the overall campus is gorgeous. (Note: you cannot pick your own apples. The apples are pre-picked for purchase)

If you're a photographer, I would not recommend going to Pine Tree. Although there are decent places to take photos as you enter the grounds, and around the activities, the most beautiful scenery is located on their trail; unfortunately, this area has a fenced-in trail. There is regular staff enforcing visitors to stick to the trail. In other words, forget the photos of you near the trees. (Obviously, this makes sense--they want to preserve the trees and keep the campus beautiful... but you're wasting your time as a photographer here. I would recommend going to another orchard for photos.) It's also a busy place both on the weekends and weekdays, and it's hard to not catch others in your photos.

Overall: great place for family, chill, and fun; bad place for professionals.

Beautiful orchard with delicious apples, baked goods, cider, and more. Enjoy a walk through the orchard, pick your own pumpkin, or wander through the corn maze (and play the corn maze game) for just $4 per person. You can also watch as employees sort and bag apples.

Don't be deterred even if the parking lot is very full. We came on a busy Saturday afternoon and I was worried, but the line to get in moved quickly and the interior wasn't too crowded. Check-out lines also moved quickly. Employees were attentively restocking items as they flew off the shelves. Friendly people and a fun fall atmosphere!

Always a nice place to visit for apples. Prices for apples are alittle high but its easy to overlook when my family always has a good time. We personally like to go in the fall when we can pick apples and pumpkins, take a hay ride and walk thru the corn maze.

We have been to Pine Tree on many occasions. The selection of apples is good. What is currently available depends on when you go. You can pick pumpkins from their pumpkin patch. They have treats available to eat there or to take home. The apple doughnuts are yummy as is the apple pie. Have a seat inside their greenhouse type tent or outside in the lawn. The only real big problem is they are incredibly busy on nice weekend days. The lines to get into the parking lot can be really long. If there are too many people they limit the numbers who can go inside. They open at 9 so get there early.

I absolutely love Pine Tree Apple Orchard. Beautiful place, especiaply in the fall, and all their food products are delicious. Would highly reccomend going in the fall for apples and again in the summer for strawberries.

No Apple picking there. There are other orchards in Minnesota where you can t pick them yourselves, but they put it on their website! You can t even walk around the orchards. I d rather go to Costco to buy apples!

Good environment if you have kids. As an adult i find others are more for my age. I would prefer to pick my own apples and such. There food is good, but i would never buytheir apple bread again, it tastes like normal bread.

I had a lot of fun at this place. there was a lot of variety of stuff in the shop for sale. unfortunately I was too early for the honeycrisp and pumpkins. hayride and corn maze was fun and affordable. down side is that they did not clean up the path for the corn maze so all the stalks are just "flattened" for the path. so I was constantly tripping and twisting my ankle. I didn't mind that until I fell. a total face plant into the "flattened" corn stocks. I bashed my knee and shoulder. my upper arm and shoulder were swollen and tingly for most of the day after that. I'm just thankful that I didn't hit my head on the random rock that was along side of the trail. I just wish they would rake the stalks to the side of the trail instead of having everyone stumble over them. what if it was a grandma and her grandkids and she brock her hip. that would just be horrible. if you must have ground covering then use straw. you can easily till that back into the ground for next year.

Their hours stated they'd open at 9, but that apparently just meant their hyper-expensive little grocery store. At 10 they opened the gate to let hundreds of people walk up a steep hill, only to get to another spot that wasn't opened yet. And then that opened later then they said. Not well organized or suited for the number of pattons they get.

If you need to visit an apple orchard in the fall, I'd go elsewhere. The corn maze is good though.

I love Pine Tree orchard. You can pick your own pumpkins in the pumpkin patch in the fall, go strawberry picking in the summer and enjoy year round delicious apple treats. Great family friendly place to relax with a cup of apple cider and a slice of pie.

Went here for first kiss apples. They were sold out! Would have been nice if you had that updated on your website. The orchard is pretty basic. Nothing exciting and in my opinion a little spendy compared to other orchards.

The pies were great and the orchards were beautiful. But the thing that stood out the most was the customer service. I went with my little guy (2 yrs old) and he wanted an apple. We picked the one he wanted and they were kind enough slice it for him. it's the little things. - more photos / More photos exploring on Instagram: @nearnorthco

Went on a busy Friday to pick up Apple Delite for my husband. He can't get enough of it. I bought 6 loafs for now and he is so happy. I also bought Strawberry Apple Jam. All I can say is...it was heavenly! I will fight the traffic jam in WBL to go back for more. Staff always so friendly and their products are delish. I am glad that they don't allow people/kids to pick the apples and then ruin the trees. Great experience.

Didn't realize until we got there that you can't pick your own apples but there are plenty of other things to do. The corn maze was amazing and so was all of the food. I was shocked at how reasonably priced the baked goods were.

Too crowded and did not have the facilities to handle the crowd. There is only one road in and out so there is about 20 min of traffic to get in and out and long lines for each activity there are better options out there. But it has an amazing lake a butiful rolling hills

We love love love this place. It's a yearly ritual to make the trek and well worth the drive. Parking can be tricky if you come too late in the day. We go early and enjoy the cafe and hayrides when it's less busy. They have pumpkin fields, corn maze, bonfires, a little cafe to sample all the food, and a large shop for all the food items. So many different apple treats beyond just apples to choose from. Great staff and a fall favorite for our kids.

Plenty of signage but not very useful. Waiting on a line for no reason as our goal was the pumpkin patch. No organization and no staff to help direct. Seemed the goal was their retail store and nothing else. All this after waiting in a line of traffic for 15 minutes. Wouldn't recommend this if you simply want a hay ride and pumpkin patch experience. The atmosphere was cold and rushed.

Short little stroll around the orchard on a path. Limited access due to covid-19. Perfect length for little kids. Stop by the old tractor for kids to sit on and take pics. Then head on in for apples, jams, doughnuts or pastries. You can also see the employees hand pick the apples to put in the bags to sell. Don't miss the tasty cider to bring home!

great
