We go there every year. We LOVE their apple pie and apple donuts. We will be going back this weekend to buy another pie. But I don't understand why a bag of apples are $18.00 a bag. It's a treat to buy a pie. But as a senior it seems too high for a bag of apples. We couldn't afford to buy any more. Thank you

Beautiful orchard! Nice drive through Dellwood to get there, scenic hayride, pumpkin patch. I haven't done the corn maze. Lots of apple products for sale, bring your wallet. Small eatery on site. Dress for the weather, if it is inclement they will shut down outdoor activities and reevaluate later in the day. A nice family activity. It is always busy here!

Been a tradition to come here since I was little. The Apple popovers and donuts are a must. Hayrides and pumpkin patch are a lot of fun but be ready to wait on weekends. The apple variety is decent and what they do have is great quality and decently priced.

We were new to Pine Tree and thought it would be a fun place to take the kids but shortly after arriving we realised it was more like a store. You are unable to pick your own apples which is what we were looking for in an apple orchard.

Lovely apple orchard, hayride, corn maze, and pumpkin patch, all in one. The shop was particularly busy during the Minnesota Education Association weekend. It took about 30 minutes to check out. But the variety of apples and kid friendly activities made it worth it.

Can't leave the Pine Tree salesroom without delving into a delicious slice of Minnesota's best apple pie. Enjoy it with the orchard's equally delish cinnamon ice cream! Sometimes I add a sugared apple doughnut along with Dickey's unique apple topping to the mix ... a pure heavenly epicurean delight!

Really love the grounds here. Rolling hills with beauty all around, a great place for a picnic with the family or even a nice date. I would like to comment on a previous review. The facility does actually have many benches and tables to sit on/at, handicap parking spaces, and easy access into the store. It would not be suitabke for a wheelchair to access the orchard, but everything else is accessible. I'm deducting one star only because the restrooms are porta-potties, which is extremely difficult when you have small children. It's hard to plan a family outing when there are no bathrooms suitable for children. We would have spent a lot more time, and potentially more money here otherwise. I also wish they had some kind of lunch foods (even pre-made sandwiches or salads or a soup option to make a full meal in the cafe). The cafe bakery serves delicious fresh apple pastries, and they are reasonably priced and did I say delicious already? My advice to other families is to pack a nice lunch and come for a walk through the orchard, have a picnic by the lake, let the kids run and roll down the hills, and then finish off with a delicious apple rollover or apple pie. The store has a large variety of just about any apple product you could think of. Stop by the apple factory and then the store on your way out. The Orchard also offer many fall festivities beginning in mid September through October including hay rides, pumpkin patch, and live music.

A good place to bring the family for fall apples! Close to beautiful White Bear Lake with a charming downtown. It's fun to watch the Apple sorting and there's a good variety of apples and handmade baked goods. Not a place for dairy free food (strange since most apple pies commercially made are dairy free) but great jams and fruit "butters". Gorgeous drive to the farm as well.

The conveyor belt was working and it was fun to watch the line workers bagging the apples.
The selection of baked products is quite extensive. I purchased pies, cake and donuts. I missed the harvest of the Wealthy apple my favorite, and took the suggestion of staff for the available best apple for baking. Also bought a couple of carmel apples for a delicious treat.

I set up a group event for adults with disabilities. Gus was our wagon guide, and a very nice guy. For 6.50 each person got to ride the wagon, pick an apple, and pick a pumpkin. Everyone had a great time and the place is beautiful. Tons of cool stuff to buy as well. Would highly recommend. Thanks again from New Directions, Inc.

Cute little stop, locally owned orchard with a big store that sells everything apple - cider, pie, caramel on a stick, syrup, cookies, etc. Family took the wagon ride, it's a short drive through the orchard with a tour guide that gives you history on the place. Would visit again if they had an event or something going on. Otherwise there's not much to do unless you just need to buy apple flavored everything.

Amazon. Donuts! Great Apple pie too! Fun lawn for kids to run around on during the week. We took a wagon ride through the orchard and here was a beautiful view on one of the bluffs! The kids loved it too. Oh, and it was so sweet, the driver took pics for us before the ride started!
We also purchased some honey crisp apple as - they taste incredible!

Drove all the way out from St. Paul today to pick up pies for my family in Wisconsin and they are closed. Google hours say they are open 10 am to 5pm today. Also, website did not indicate they were closed. Business needs to update their hours and website to keep updated as appropriate. Tiny sign next to mailbox indicates closed until at least 8/15/18. So...put that online for us, please.

I have not been there yet but give them 5 stars just for being open mid November. I called two other orchards west of Minneapolis to find both closed for the season. Boo hoo! I want an apple pie and look forward to my first experience at Pine Tree ... later today! I also look forward to watching the Apple sorter mentioned in another review.

Wish I cld leave sooner as I just read they have amazing apple cider chocolate chip cookies. OMG! I might have to move in!

Thank you Pine Tree Apple Orchard for being open through February!!! WOW!

I don't have a picture, but it is delicious and along with that it looks very appetizing. The person that took my order was very helpful and sorry I forgot your name. Sent my son in to get the pie and he said if I had $50.00 I could spend that much on "goodies" of all kinds. Thank you very much and I will be calling you to get some strawberries for eating at home.

Absolutely best orchard in twin cities area! They take pride in there great fresh quality. I go there for every fruit season because I know I'm not going to ever get old or moldy fruit. It's always top quality. And their turnovers are amazing!

Excellent strawberry farm and apple orchard with hay rides, pony rides (at times) and a great general store offering a wide range of delicious food, pastries, cider and other things. Corn mazes in the fall too. Well worth the trip. Check their hours first. They are only open seasonally from Mid-June to mid-July (strawberries) and again from August to March. Plenty of parking is available.

Was a fun experience, loved the hay ride to your the apple orchard. Was bummed that we couldn't walk through the apple trees like we had done the year before. Also enjoy all the yummy treats inside the store. Also bought and tried a new apple this year which was delicious. Highly recommend going to see this orchardm
