Spending my afternoon @ Pilo Arts with Tanisha. I asked for long layers and a side bang and got exactly what I asked for. Staff was courteous and friendly. Will be coming back soon to get highlights done by her. Very attentive and loving.
Stephanie Gambino has been my creative hair artist for 8 years now and has always done an amazing job. She is super friendly, confident in her abilities and takes her time so you never feel rushed. I would highly recommend her.
Mixed feelings about this salon. Overpriced but most staff were pleasant and did well. 4 different people were tipped due to coat check, wash, front desk and assistance with beverages

My stylist is Sia. She is amazing. She takes the time to discuss every aspect of the appointment. She determines exactly how you want your color and hair cut before hand. My highlights and color are perfect. My hair cut is exactly how I wanted it . So happy to have found her.
Just had my hair cut and styled by Stefano. He did a fantastic job! I was super anxious and nervous from past hair trauma but he put me at ease and the result is healthy glowing bouncy hair!

I went under groupon. Really i get better care where i normally go. I was very disappointed. High price. Person washing the hair didn't massage the scalp and haircutter I got a trim but was expecting a shaping. Next month back to my regular stylist. Pilot Arts is upscale but really I prefer upscale treatment not just in decor. People there appear snooty

My wife went there 3 months ago, she got out with tears in her eyes. Do not go there, it's supposed to be a high quality salon, unprofessional, they left my wife unattended for close to an hour, her hair became gray after that treatment, their answer " after a couple months it will fade easily 0-stars

After receiving the reply from Pilo Arts Salon I had to update my review. Just because Groupon honored this establishment with an award does not mean that customers who go there are satisfied. If you had read my review it was not I who attended but my wife. It is disrespectful to accuse my review of falsehood. Again 0-stars.
I had Tanisha , she was very friendly, listened to what I needed done to my hair. She did an amazing job on my hair, I felt like a celebrity walking out of pilo arts! I would recommend you use Tanisha for dying or styling your hair .

I got a truly wonderful experience getting my hair washed, trimmed, blow dried, and styled by Hermina. I used a groupon, and I received an outstanding service. More than that, I received such a warm welcome and such a great amount of kind and positive energy from my stylist Hermina. I came in being so sad and ready to cry because my next stop after this salon is a hospital to find out results of a biopsy of my brother s failing kidneys. But Hermina s shining personality and radiant energy made me feel special, happy, and calm. She made me laugh so many times with her kind humor. I am so grateful for this unique heart-warming experience. It meant so much to me. Hermina made me ready to be there for my brother today. THANK YOU SO SO MUCH!!!

Today I saw Rano for a small trim & walked out happier than ever. She styled my hair beautifully & it took less than 30 minutes for her to blow out my hair whereas other places throw me under the dryer for 45+. Thank you Pilo Arts!

Amazing salon with an awesome staff. Paul is so so nice and very welcoming. Danielle L. is a perfectionist, she did a terrific job highlighting and cutting my hair to a bob style. She also does amazing blowouts. To top it off, she s such a sweetheart. Your time in the chair will go rather quickly having a fun chat with her.

Very disappointed. I posted a review. I said that Pilo Arts was expensive and outdated. The manager called me up to persuade me to change my review. They had my hairdresser call me to change my review. Very disappointing.....on top of everything the hair dresser cancelled three appointments that were made. I don't think I will return...
I read the response from Polo Arts and again I am disappointed. There was no need to go into their finances. My opinion is just that my opinion. And just to set the record straight I was never informed why the hairdresser cancelled just told that she cancelled. Everyone's time is precious...once even twice is acceptable. Three times after my review was not to Pilo Arts liking is just suspicious.
Its ok I have found a place that deals with curly hair specifically in Staten Island.Curl City. I'm very happy.

I've been going to Pilo for years and love it. Victoria is the best, whether its a cut or color. Highly recommend checking it out, I always leave happy. I visited recently and felt safe with their Covid precautions in place. They wipe down the seats after each person, have empty seats between people, and everyone is wearing masks.

I'm new to this salon. Victoria did my highlights and cut, giving extra attention to doing what I wanted. I hadn't been in a salon for months since Covid, and really needed my hair brought back to life. Victoria is an artist, knowledgable and so friendly. I left with beautiful hair and a new hairdresser! The owner Elena was very welcoming, too. I was impressed with how the salon is obeying state guidelines to keep everyone safe during this pandemic. I'll be back!
