WARNING
Let s get STRAIGHT to the point. Although this place MAY seem luxurious, the staff including the owner is not. I decided to try EC for my very first facial ever with high hopes. It was personally recommended to me by a colleague who has been a loyal client there. I had a rushed experience while trying to be convinced that I received thorough work. WHAT A JOKE. Almost all of their facials are listed as 50 minutes online. I was charged $236 for a 38 minute facial that did nothing but irritate my skin!! I was also recommend $100 worth of products that did nothing for my skin whatsoever. The owner followed up with me with an aggressive phone call asking me to get to the point when I was explaining my experience at her spa. I ve personally witnessed her and her staff talking negatively about clients. THE POINT IS if you re looking for a more relaxing, welcoming, and warm experience with a genuinely caring staff and excellent customer service THIS IS NOT IT.

Grace is AWESOME. Only after three facials, I have less breakouts, reduced inflammation, improved skin texture, and a glow that my skin has never had before. Even family and friends notice the change in my skin. The atmosphere at EC beauty studio is relaxing and everyone is so nice and professional. I can trust Grace knows what is best for my skin. She is so helpful and truly cares about her clients. Facials are something I look forward to each month! I can't wait to see the continuous improvement in the overall quality of my skin!

Ive been going to EC Beauty Studio for 3 years now. I get my facials with Michele - she is incredibly professional, such a sweet person and really knows her stuff. From extractions and catering to YOUR individual skin, she is so thorough. Her hands are magical and the massaging is so calculated; your relaxed and comfortable the entire time. I always leave with glowing skin and a glass of really delicious lemon/mint water. Highly recommend her, my skin has changed dramatically since seeing her.

If you want to get a perfect, individualized facial this is the place to go in Hoboken and surroundings. I ve been with Michele from the beginning and her knowledge, experience, dedication and care is outstanding. Michele is hands down the BEST ESTHETICIAN I have ever had a facial with!! I'm a big advocate of the importance of skincare and have been getting facials for the past 10+ years. I have been going to Christine for years for my lashes. She is so nice, and very knowledgeable. She always speaks about the integrity of your own lashes and keeping them healthy while still continuing with lash extensions. Even during quarantine when I was not able to get my lashes done. I noticed my natural lashes were still full and healthy. But I am so glad to continue with Christine. She always makes me look beautiful and the spa is always super clean!

My esthetician, Grace is AMAZING! I have been getting facials and chemical peels with Grace for months now because I ve been dealing with hormonal breakouts. She has helped my skin CLEAR up. My skin was GLOWING when I left the first facial and it has been GLOWING ever since. I always feel like a new person when I get off her table. I highly recommend Grace for your skin care needs!

Michele has honestly changed my skin and confidence for the better! I started going to her about 6 months before my wedding and she worked patiently to improve my previously acne-prone face into smooth and glowing skin. Finally went back after many months of quarantine! Although a little different (sanitizer when you walk in, masks and even a phonesoap to sanitize your phone!) the peace and tranquility knowing your going to get not just an amazing treatment but also just relax and decompress is exactly the same. Prices area little high but the services are awesome. I go to Erica for facial, on regular basis and it s been great! She knows my skin well and performs custom facial that suits me perfectly.

I booked a facial with Grace based on online reviews and have seen her about once a month for the past 8 months. Even with high hopes based on the reviews, she has exceeded my expectations. She has helped me clear breakouts and get softer, younger looking skin. Grace is knowledgeable, sweet, and wonderful to work with! I look forward to my EC Beauty Studio visits.

My favorite spot for a facial. I've been going to EC beauty for facials for over two years and love it. I've never had a bad experience there. Over the last year I've mostly been getting facials by Erica including peels. I can't believe the difference it's made. Erica takes the time to talk to you and customize facials and find a regimen for at home for your specific needs. I've always struggled problem skin (breakouts, sensitivity) but since getting facials I can finally feel confident makeup free! All the staff is friendly and well trained. I have been seeing Erica for my monthly facial for years now. My skin has looked impeccable ever since I started seeing her. When I got engaged in August of 2016, I knew I had to take control of my skincare before the big day. I had always had some acne as a teenager, but in my 20's and now early 30's, those pimples and scarring that I thought I would "grow out of" had only gotten worse. My magic combo for clear skin came with finding a great new dermo, as well as, monthly facials with Erica from EC Beauty. I was so nervous at my first appointment because my previous experience with facials at spas had always led my skin to flare up worse afterwards. Erica talked me through each part of her thorough process and my skin's health was always her top priority. After each facial, yes, I felt pampered - but, I also felt like I was truly taking the best steps to clear and nourish my skin. After the wedding, my husband and I moved out of Hoboken. But I am certain that I will still make the effort to see Erica several times a year because she is that good! Besides her expertise, Erica is warm and friendly - always making me feel comfortable. The price in the email I got for my appointment did not match the price I paid. I had my first facial in my life here. I did not know that extractions were so painful. I figured that during a facial they would explain every step of the process/tell you what products they are using. She only told me that she was going to do the extraction and that it would be painful, explained the tool she was using to boost collagen and then that she was applying a mask. I could not relax until the mask was on at the end. The mask was the best part! It was very cooling/soothing and smelled amazing. I was so anxious for the rest of the facial because I am super jumpy and didn't know what was going on. My skin felt very nice after and I did leave a 20% tip but I do not think I would go here again. I just did not feel very comfortable overall/did not know what to expect.

So I have always wanted lashes but I don't even know how to use make-up and didn't think it would be for me. However after a friend referred Chris to me I decided to try it and now I am completely obsessed! I look amazing, like seriously I look amazing and I am completely addicted. Chris is the best, very sweet and takes her time. Client for life!

I consider Michele to be a Esthetician Extraordinaire :). I have had many esthetician s in the past but nothing like Michele. Michele is honest, always has great energy and genuinely cares for my skin. About 4 years ago, I was experiencing some skin breakouts and scheduled an appt with Michele on Feb 14, 2016(we always joke... that Michele was my best valentines date ever lol). After that appt. I consistently saw Michele over the next 3 months and followed the skin care regime she recommended, my skin was clear and glowing. I received so many compliments, extremely grateful for Michele. I must start out by saying that Erica is a life-saver (or should I say face-saver?!). I have very bad, dry, acne-prone skin and was in need of serious help leading up to my wedding day. I tried all the major skin treatment centers in NYC and none of them helped. Thankfully, after many hours of googling and digging online, I discovered EC Beauty. Erica is a true skin care professional and after my first visit, I was hooked.

I came to EC Beauty Studios because I had some acne on my chin I was having a hard time getting under control and I didn't like the products my dermatologist had prescribed me.

I scheduled an appointment for an acne facial but Erica suggested another route of 6 treatments after talking with me and looking at my skin.

5 months later and my skin is firmer and the acne has cleared up in most areas. The products she recommended fit in well with my own skin care routine and I appreciate that she didn't try to see me everything at once. We slowly started working in different products until we found what worked best for my skin.

Would highly recommend this Studio to anyone!

This place might fool you with its' fancy facials and prices but it definitely doesn't hide the fact that its' run by a woman who has NO CLUE how to speak to clients... Poor poor customer service... Would definitely not recommend this place, all they do is give you half-a** facials so you can keep going back to spend more money on facials/products you might not even need.. BEWARE!

When my now husband and I began our wedding planning process I wanted to incorporate regular facials into our process. Prior research led me to EC Beauty and I had a great facial there, so I turned again to EC Beauty for our wedding preparation needs for skin care. Starting in early 2016, we both began going to EC Beauty for monthly facials. While he isn t likely to post about it, I do think he noticed improvements in his skin and I certainly think it cleared up some pores. I personally found my monthly visits to be both helpful for my complexion as well as very enjoyable. I typically experience at least a once monthly breakout, but after going for a monthly facial and using EC Beauty s products by PCA Skincare I noticed that my breakouts became few and far between. I also noticed that I felt much better about my skin and could tell when it was time for another visit. Each visit to Erica was enjoyable. She and her team do take the time to remember their clients and treat everyone as if they are a special individual. I found each visit to be very enjoyable, relaxing, rejuvenating and delightful! I also found the visits to be timely (as in on time and conscientious of time) and affordable. As the wedding day approached, Erica made sure that my visits were timed out perfectly to suit my pre-wedding day needs. I also visited EC Beauty for brows with Alicia which were great! I highly recommend visiting EC Beauty for some beauty services for both women and men! Even though our wedding is over, I ve already been back for another facial and plan to keep up the routine!

In high school I had really bad skin, think pizza face. While my skin has gotten a little clearer, I still have super oily skin, think bp oil spill. Very large pores, and the occasional break out, which I feel like I'm getting kind of old for. I mean, we're supposed to outgrow those once we leave our teens, right?

Two of my friends knew that I had a lot of skin concerns and highly recommended EC Beauty. I decided to try it and made an appointment, I mean who doesn't enjoy being pampered?

I was a little concerned about getting chemical peels, I was concerned about looking like a burn victim for a week, or permanent damage, Michele put me completely at ease, explained the process to me and answered my 101 questions about it... and about every single treatment she does - what can I say, I'm a curious person.

Well, I've been going to EC and I'm happy to say, EC (and Michele) definitely gives you that relaxing, pampered feeling, even their couch to wait on is super comfy! Their scrubs smell fantastic and also make my skin look fabulous. My face has cleared up, less breakouts. My pores look smaller, some of my acne scarring has been minimized. so many people have noticed that my skin looks great.

I am so lucky to have met Michele when my last esthetician retired to be a full time mom. In my opinion, Michele is the best esthetician in the NJ/NYC area. This is the best beauty spot in Hoboken! I had come to EC beauty a couple times throughout the years to get a facial here and there. I had oily (yet thirsty ), uneven skin toned skin, with cystic acne as well. August 2018, I had it with how my skin looked, and came to Michele for help. That was the best decision I made! She checked out my skin, and did a you facial tailored to my skin, and told me exactly what products to use and what not to use. She basically explained that my skin was acting the way it was, for one reason- it was thirsty! She had me use ONE product in the morning and at night (whatttt, I was using at least 5 lol) for one month, and to come back and see how we did. Do you know, one month later, my skin was LESS oily and the acne was less frequent. I couldn t believe it! I kept going to Michele every 4 weeks, and it kept getting better and better. She helped me find products that were perfect for my skin. Here we are almost a year later, and my skin is the best it has been- EVER! My skin is no longer oily, I no longer have acne, and my skin tone has become more even. I trust Michele with my skin whole-heartedly. Christine is my go-to for eyelash extensions. She is professional and friendly. She makes sure to ask what kind of style you re going for before she begins each session. She is knowledgeable about the products she uses and is always gentle when applying the lashes. She is thorough and explains the maintenance at the end of the session. I recently tried the lash lift and it s eye-opening! (pun intended) I would recommend Christine for lash extensions and lash lift services.

Grace is the best facialist by far and I'm so lucky I came across her! Highly recommended - I've been seeing Grace for almost a year, every 4-6 weeks and have seen a huge improvement in my skin's texture and appearance, which friends & family have also noticed. The spa smells amazing when you walk in, and there's always delicious water, flavored with fresh fruit and mint! During each session, Grace is always incredibly friendly and gentle in addressing breakouts/acne/dark spots. She is truly skilled and even after a peel, my skin is glowing the next day! I've always been so nervous to try new products because of my skin's sensitivity but thanks to Grace, she's helped me create a PCA skincare routine between facials which has helped clear my skin up overtime. I have been going to Erica for many years - probably 10 or close to it!! she is the best at what she does. She always uses the current condition of my skin to customize facials - never a one size fits all.. I have started micro needling (collagen induction needling therapy) with her a couple weeks ago and already see improvements in my skin... I go for my next treatment in a week... very excited to see what a total of (6) treatments does!!! I cannot recommend Erica enough!!

I had a dermaplaning facial with Michele who is the Lead Master Esthetician and it was the best facial I've ever had! She is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what she does and I learned a lot about my skin. I've had a lot facials but this was definitely on another level of expertise. My skin never felt so smooth or looked as healthy and bright as it did after this facial. It doesn't get any better than this. I would highly recommend booking this or any treatment with Michele and I'm definitely returning sooner than later!!

She gave me lots of priceless advice & made suggestions for chemical-free (super important!) products to use at home which I could buy on Amazon - this place will not try to up-sell you or push you to buy products they have for sale. This is THE place to go at VERY reasonable prices.

I ve been having my facial done from EC beauty for almost or more than 3 years. Michele is my go to aesthetician and she s been very amazing in taking care of my skin. When I heard that they finally opened after the lockdown, I immediately booked my facial. I can really tell that the place is well sanitized the moment you arrive at the spa. Initially, they will check your temperature before your facial and if you need to use the restroom the keys are sanitized with the use of a uv light technology. When you go to your designated room, they have these machines that filters the air as well. The staff were also wearing proper ppe such as mask, face shield and gloves during your facial. This made me feel very at ease everytime I d come back for my facial appointment. I ll definitely give this place 10 out 10 not only for the services that they offer but also for following guidelines during this time of pandemic.

I started going go to Erica at EC Beauty regularly before my wedding and have kept going long after! Erica is able to tailor my facials each month to exaclty what I need and she has kept my skin looking great for so many important events. The Place is beautiful, the service is amazing I had a facial by a woman name karina. Top notch !!!!

Absolutely love the eyelash lift services. While my natural eyelash is long and dark, I have always had issues with curling them and having them stay up. While there is a tiny chance that this treatment wouldn t work for me because of the way my eyelash goes down, it worked AMAZINGLY. I never have to wear mascara and I have received so many compliments on them. This is also such a good treatment for those who, like me, do not like eyelash extensions due to eye rubbing and getting them wet. This is a low maintenance treatment and I plan on getting these done on a regular basis at EC beauty as I can t recommend them enough.

I am now approaching my 38th week of pregnancy and I'm happy to say that I've been able to continue to see Michele all throughout my pregnancy and she's been amazing. I always do the "you" facial and Michele assesses exactly what my skin needs that day. Not only do I leave with glowing skin each time, but the hour I have during my session is so relaxing!
