I absolutely loved the atmosphere. It was super cozy, lovely, and great staff. I had the salmon which was delicious as well as the cornbread. The calamari was over cooked and too crispy for my liking. Also get ready to spend about 100.00.

Bar tenders told us that the whole bar was reserved for a party that was going to watch a fight and then told the people next to us that they were going to be opened. When I asked the bar tender about the entire bar being reserved, he said, "yeah, you just have to go out and pay a fee." The service was disappointing.

Huge restaurant and bar at the southern tip of Manhattan, in Battery Park, looking out at the Statue of Liberty. I went on a Saturday night and the place had a frat-house vide. Otherwise, the fried cod was outstanding and the service was quick and friendly. Seating is either indoors or outdoors on the river. Only suggestion, turn the music down a little bit.

Recommended for oysters on Monday for $ 1 per piece, but I would also go to the Chelsea market there, better quality.
Great location, but absolutely terrible food, cold wings and cardboard tasting wedges.
Generally poor quality.

This restaurants service is among the worst in NYC. We walked in nobody offered to seat us, while waiting it smelled like somebody was smoking Marijuana in the place and the employees laughed and they all started smelling one fellow employee. The food as you can see is hardly filling and very expensive. I asked what the "Chef Greg Thursday night special" was from the menu and nobody had any idea. Is this place some sort of a joke? I almost threw my menu and walked out DO NOT go here for anything other than a view and a cold drink.

Attractive location and cool renovation. Huge space with beautiful views. Good place to have a drink in Financial District / Battery Park area, but the food has been consistently mediocre. We have not tried upstairs, which has a nicer and more expensive menu. Service is attentive but not especially friendly. Music has been too loud for us each time we've visited downstairs at night.

Prices are high for the type and quality of food and drinks you get, even by NYC standards. We each had a sandwich with fries and a Bloody Mary for lunch for $65. The food was OK, not great. Fries were tasty. Drinks were in half-size tumblers. Higher quality food and drinks are still available right around the corner on Stone Street.

The outdoor area is great for summertime with potential for beautiful views but gets crowded, and $8-10 beers do make an expensive afternoon.

Great place to sip a drink on the deck looking out to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Pricey, but if you can imagine you pay for the view it works out! Perfect for taking people visiting NYC!

What a terrible experience. After spending thousands on an office party here, the bartender Kevin was absolutely cold hearted and rude to my coworker. Ruined the entire night for us. I would never recommend this place solely based on Kevin the bartender/only manager on staff. Disgusting, rude, and mean. Never again!!!

Can't say enough good things about this place. I often come here for sunset as it is definitely one of the best views in the city on the water.

Great staff and the place is huge. Highly recommended.

Walked all the from Fulton to the pier A harbor house to find out they don t make crab legs or lobster tails . I m kind of upset because the photos of the menu aren t really all on the menu You should look into fixing that, false advertising can lead to poor reviews

Good food. Good views of the Statue of Liberty while having a drink outside on a nice day. Service can be slow depending on season. Don't miss out on the oyster happy hour on Mondays.

You need to serve yourself. It had been awhile since I had been here and was surprised to learn that it became more casual. The order of things now is that you order and pay at the bar. You take your drink from the bar. A server brings you the food you paid for at the bar. The food is very good standard waterside bar fare. You can get a shrimp taco as easily as a burger. The views are awesome and that makes coming here worth it.

We arrived here on a very rainy evening after a confusing time trying to find a southbound M-20 bus. We were very happy when we arrived, but a lot less when the food arrived. The bratwurst was bland and was not grilled but boiled. The fish and chips was mediocre. I tried to order a non-alcoholic beer, but they had none. Never heard of O'Doul's. When we asked the waitstaff if they had steamer clams, he did't know what they were. All in all a bad experience. Next time, we'll just come for the view. Definitely don' come here for a fine dining experience.

We were a large party of 7 and ordered wings, calamari, the black bean "sliders/cutters" and Beach Point oysters. pimms cup, Guinness, and other beers were all good and well mixed/poured. food, was good and reasonable portions. a little pricy, but the view is gorgeous on the left side. just opened 2 months ago. // 2nd visit, large party. dark and stormy was good. fried food, thick seasoned fries, and steak sandwich were, food. packed on a Thurs. lots of private parties. only negatives: understaffed and bartender only knows popular drinks with a young crowd.

The best location in this part of Manhattan - very good views from the garden. Generally one of the few places where you can sit outside, in the garden, under an umbrella. Good food. Very good selection of alcohols, especially beer. Nice service. Prices for NY are bearable.

Pier A made an unauthorized charge into my credit card. I went to celebrate my birthday with friends this past June 20. We were trying to get waiter/waitress service into the outdoor seating area, but it was impossible. After a long wait, we finally sat outside but the outdoor bar serves only beers, so we have to go back and forth several times to the indoor bar for drinks. By the time of the charge at the bar, we added only $1 in tips due to the bad service. As a surprise, Pier A charged me 30% extra in tips even though I did not authorize it. Several days after, I went back to Pier A to understand if it was a mistake, but they did not even apologize! It is a shame that a nice location is not enough to compensate such a bad service, treatment, and unethical behavior.

So we came in and placed our order. Shortly there Gter we were informed they were out of crab cakes at noon on Friday. So we put,in something different for,our wives. Hues what, the wives good came but nothing else. 15 mi,utes we waited. We were told it was in the window, told it was on the way. Wait staff and bar tenders chose to lie rather than deal with the mess up. I gave a 2 because we happened upon someone who was a manager and a few minutes later we had the rest of the order. He was food, staff succked. He did comp our drinks. Not sure I would try it again. Staff needs to learn honesty and taking care of the customer.

With beautiful views of Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty and delicious food, this place is absolutely fantastic. But what really makes this place special is the outstanding service, it really made my first trip to NYC special. Thank you Charlie and David!!!

Beautiful waterfront property with plenty of green spaces and unparalleled views of Manhattan's Financial District skyline. Bring a good camera and arrive anytime in the afternoon for the best photos. With all the wealth concentrated in the area, I find it unforgivable that there are no restrooms here. You need to go to the transit terminal nearby for that.
