The place has a direct view of Caldera, the staff is very hospitable and ready to help, the ambience is very nice.

Very high standard hotel. Large rooms, a luxurious breakfast. Amazing views and friendly staff. An excellent option for those who want a hotel with a view to Caldera for a price that is not 5 digits. Take into account that the hotel is smeared 2 km from a cow and you have to rent an ATV or a car

We had a wonderful stay at Petit Palace. The staff could not be more helpful and the view is second to none.

The breakfast that is included with the stay was the best we had in Greece!

Great view, great place to enjoy the whole landscape. Everyone in the hotel was wonderful, they covered us on all levels, the room was big with a very good pool very clean. Breakfast very nice. Very quiet and romantic !!!! We will definitely visit it again !!!!! Everything was perfect!!!!!!

We went for our honeymoon and our stay was PERFECT! The staff was very helpful and friendly. The views were amazing every whichway you turned. We got a room with a private pool which at first looked like a hot tub in the photos, then realized it was a pool and it wasn't heated. Wouldn't recommend getting a villa with a pool in the winter time since we just played extra for that and didn't get to use it.

This is one of the best hotel properties one can stay in such a holiday destination. I will recommend this to anyone going to Santorini. The best part of the hotel is its spectacular ocean view and the sun-set. The only negative part is that it is about 15-20 mins drive away from the main city center.

From the moment we arrive the service was exceptional, staff offered a beverage as our bags were immediately taken from us. Hotel offers complimentary shuttle service into town runs every hour until 2300 hrs. Which my wife and I used everyday. Hotel offered a great breakfast with good verity. We had dinner one night and were very pleasantly surprised. Views from the hotel were just unreal. Huge room with two bathrooms and a jacuzzi. The full size pool in our personal terrace was the perfect place to watch the sunset.

Great staff! Great view! Clean room and full! Whatever I say, there is very little to see when you visit it shortly!

We stayed here for 4 days in May 2016. Everything was well done. No complaints about anything. It is about 2.5 Km from Thera but they run a shuttle bus service and a taxi is only Euro7-8. Thera has some good and very reasonable restaurants well worth a visit.
The in house restaurant is also worth a visit. *****

Too many amazing qualities to mention. Friendly and personal. Amazing view. Far enough away from the noise but close enough to walk to town. Great cocktails. Breakfast on the balcony was so memorable. Can't wait to return!!

Petit Palace boutique hotel has fantastic volcano and aegean sea view. We enjoyed the dinner at the restaurant with watching the sunset. Staff were very nice and welcoming. Breakfast were good too. Thanks for arranging taxi and preparing take away breakfast for our early departure to airport. The only thing we were not satisfied was the shower nozzle s hook on the wall, it was loose so shower nozzle can t be set with a right direction therefore you had to use one hand to hold the shower nozzle which wasn t convenient.

But the hot tub didn't work but was fix ed and breakfast was not free if you want English but that got sorted as well the owner or management very nice man not sure what he thinks about us bur you got to moan if you are not happy

Wonderful! Great structure and welcoming and super friendly staff! The staff gave us valuable tips about the city. The hotel has a shuttle service to the city center, which is very useful. Highly recommend.

Outstandingly beautiful place! Here are all wishes fulfilled. We took the offer to join a day catamaran tour. Everything was easily organized for us, from the pick up to the return to the hotel.

The tour is absolutely recommended! At the price of 100 each is well invested! The tour includes a 5 hour tour on the water. The catamaran is big, even with about 15-20 people on board. You are fully groomed, the food is great and there is good wine and everything your heart desires. The crew is super nice.

The Petit Palace has typical cave-like rooms with private balconies. Beautiful! The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired.

I also recommend a scooter or a quad to rent and roar over the island;) costs 20-40 depending on the strength. It's really worth it!

In all honesty up until the moment we walked into our room I thought there had to be a catch the pictures were too good to be true. There was no catch. The rooms are huge the view is breathtaking, the entire facility is very nice. It is a decent ride to get to Oia on a scooter (about a half hour) which we ended up making every day but that's part of the fun. The plus is it is in the center of the Caldera so you can get to either end in the same amount of time.

The staff are wonderful. The room was spacious, clean and a super comfy bed. The views - fabulous! My only criticism, there is no kettle with mugs and tea and coffee in the rooms. But this is Greece, not the UK.

Likes: We loved everything about the hotel! 1. Very friendly and helpful staff who speak very good English, 2. every room gets an amazing view of the sea and the sunset, 3. for breakfast there is a very wide range of items for you to choose from, the amount of choice is unbelievable, and you can choose to have it in the restaurant or in your room, 4. Lovely pool area for swimming and chilling out, 5. We had a huge jacuzzi in our room for a nice bath!

Dislikes: It took us quite a while to find the hotel. We were told there is a shuttle bus that would take us from Fira town to the hotel, but the bus stop was very hard to find and at the waiting point there wasn't any sign at all to say this is the stop for the shuttle. The shuttle buses are also only every 2.5 hours so you really have to plan your schedule carefully. But if you are happy to pay for taxi or airport transfer or if you're driving your own car then the hotel is easy to find and this shouldn't be a problem.

Wonderful hotel. Sensational and exotic place (located at the top of a volcano "almost" inactive, jammed in the leaning stone wall). Excellent breakfast (it has up to Champagne option). Excellent Hospitality and Service note 10. Recommend.

Fantastic staff, beautiful rooms, breathtaking views. They have a spectacular chef and this is by far the best food we have had at any hotel in a country where hotel food is usually of a very high standard anyway

Myself and my husband stayed here for 5 nights at the end of our honeymoon. Unfortunately we did not find that it was value for money. The bathroom needed huge improvement as there was no shower screen on it and robes has holes in them. The breakfast was cold every morning and the food at the pool bar was very disappointing. When we told staff about this at the end of our trip, they offered no apologies and simply thanked us for our feedback. We were impressed by the views and the massages were amazing.

This is a lovely little hotel where the scenery is amazing and so are the staff. We received such a warm welcome and nothing was too difficult for the staff to do to help us. Our room was very clean and suited us perfectly. The bathroom was a good size and again suited our every need. The hotel restaurant were amazing with my dietary requirements, every meal we had there they remembered and catered for me which made the holiday. The pool area was lovely with towels provided and there was always a sunbed free. We had a a amazing time and want to revisit again.

The hotel is really very nice, and very well located because it is close to Fira but quiet. You can't hear the road at all. The view of the caldera is breathtaking, wherever you are in the hotel. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. We are vegans and every morning the chef offered us great special menus, the same when we had dinner at the hotel. Thanks to Tina for these top recommendations and to Diana and Christopher for their extreme kindness.

We stopped by for the sunset and drinks and were surprised. Amazing spot with spectacular views and very friendly staff. We will most certainly try the dinner one of these evenings too.

Was amazing, tried different combinations each day, I think we had the most delicious omelet ever, fresh fruits etc..
Hotel staff:
The nicest we've ever met, they tried there best to make you comfortable through the visit, they offer you free guidance and information about Santorini when ever you want. They arranged our travel from the airport to the hotel and back. Prior to our arrival to the hotel they were really responsive to e-mails.
I think it's better to book your stay through their web as they have special offers sometimes.

This is really 6 star, stayed in 2 storey suite with private pool. The views and everything was 6 star. Best place in Santorini.

The place was amazing. Very clean, very tidy and simply gorgeous. The views breathtaking.
The staff were on a different level. All of them very professional, but also incredibly friendly and knowledgeable.
Minas was the night porter. Very funny, very friendly and again, very professional. He looked after us as we arrived very late and was a delight to deal with.
Victoria was lovely and helpful.
Christina was perfect.
George the chef was amazing, attentive and keen.

We loved this hotel. We upgraded to a villa room from DeSol and it was incredible. Views were great, room was great and our maid (I can t remember her name but she was from Armenia) was lovely.

All the staff including Marina, Kristina and the gentleman (who is also on the desk at reception) were so welcoming and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again if I returned to Santorini. (Only thing I would change is for them to replace the fridge and sun lounger cushions as they look a little worn) . Thanks all

I give it 3 stars because for a 5-star hotel I definitely expected better facilities and service. The view is what you pay for at this hotel, it is stunning and the restaurant staff is also very professional. Instead the rooms are not great, especially the bathrooms which in our case only had a tub with occasional ants walking around. It was very uncomfortable taking baths there. The towels by the pool were stained which is OK for me but not for a 5-star hotel. The reception's staff is a bit overwhelming with daily questions whether I would "recommend the hotel to a friend". At one point these questions were just bothering me personally. Also lady who tries to sell you a massage every day by the pool was very pushy, this ruined my image of the hotel which made it come across as if they want to squeeze out every penny out of you while you are there.

Excellent service and view. The hotel staff made sure we are comfortable through the stay.

Add on: You can see the best sunset right from your balcony.

Highly Recommended. Great view from your own balcony and a beautiful cave room hides behind in the mountain. The staff, especially at the front desk, was extremely helpful in helping us organize catamaran tour and quad rentals quickly and competently. We felt completely comfortable. Although the selection of the breakfast is a bit awkward, but the restaurant has managed perfectly, even the smaller special requests to consider.
