I wish I could rate this place negative. Servers refused to make eye contact. We were a large party, but any smile or nod should get some sort of response. Would never go to this place again. People leaving outside said the same thing, we should have listened before going in.

Good fun atmosphere, always some one in there to talk to. Live entertainment, meat draws, special events

A little dark an dingy but the place makes it up in all the right ways. Good music, service and one hell of a crowd on Sundays haha.

Service was good, but please educate the bartender(s?) on how to make a proper sour if it's going to be on your drinks menu. Beer selection could also be better with the staggering number of craft brewries in the province.

Solid, friendly service, very reasonably priced beer from the local brewery, lots of space, lots of sport on the TV.

Sweet spot. Unless you get offended by stuffed cougars. Then don't look up at their stuffed cougar.

Hey guys! how is everyone? I just wanted to let everyone know how good the food is at the Fernie. Great Burgers, fish and chips and great beer on tap. Just wanted to let you know that I do work behind the bar and I stand behind everything we put out

Describe my experience..... Terrible. The staff do what they want when they want. We can't be bothered tonight "cos we so baked we gonna close early" I could go on and on but I will spare you. Drive on and find a town where they don't share a brain cell between the entire population

Just experienced Fernie Hotel and Pub. The bartender didn t tell us about the special when we sat down. A mini jug that is two Fernie Pints. We ordered Fernie pints anyways. Four to be exact. Which would equal two specials. Then we overheard about the special. When I asked the bartender why he didn t offer us the special he proceeded to call me names. Calling me a child and saying an adult is expected to ask for the specials. Funny I ve drank and eaten at many restaurants and pubs and have never had to ask the special. You think given that we ordered the special in separate glasses it would of struck him to tell us. Despite his incredible rudeness and name calling I asked nicely if he could simply charge us for two specials. He said no and continued to call myself and my girlfriend names. I told him I m not paying for 4 separate pints instead of two specials and he told us to never come back. I have to laugh a bit. In what world would I come back to a place with this disgusting and rude of service. We will never return and I ll make sure to keep anyone I know away from this establishment. That includes friend, family, and clients I regularly entertain.

renovated into a sports bar... food is good, but way too noisy to talk with your friends

Damn fine bar. Been to Fernie lots but somehow missed here (I dunno how!). Local pal suggested Boston Pizza but told him I could go there at home. He suggested here and we had a great time. Very local, very real especially maybe when you DON'T want the too trendy or too young.

Stopped by for a pre-dinner bevy. Didn't eat anything but the food we saw looked like it was being thoroughly enjoyed. Service was a touch slow but incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Despite our server appearing to be intoxicated we stopped by for the fish and chips. The food was good and the meat draw was entertaining. Our server ended up giving us better service then what we anticipated.

Staff was amazing and made us feel at home. Went for 2 beers, ended up spending the evening there

Dinner wasn't bad for pub food but service from the bar tender was terrible - I couldn't beleieve the attitude, there was simply no manners from this man. was rude when I ordered a drink and came across as v arrogant. Not a good way to treat people who are just passing through and i would defiantly not reccomend going here if you want service with a smile cos you won't be getting that from the guy with a hat and stache....

I wish is area of the country wasn't so expensive. Overall the price of wine's are comparable to other parts of Canada don't know why to buy it at a restraunt or pub is so much more.

Stopped at the Pub with my girlfriend for lunch on Valentine s Day. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is friendly and fast.

We stopped by this pub on the way through to Cranbrook, and their food was quite good for the price. Their beer offerings were outstanding. No complaints, here. :)

Came with a group of six and everyone loved their food; we returned twice more as the menu selection was so great. House salad is outstanding, as was the jalapeno burger. International sports on TV, friendly vibes, clearly popular with locals. Nightly specials & friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Recent renovations have converted what was once a charming pub into a sports bar. Food is decent and there's a large amount of beer on tap. Be prepared for television screens everywhere you look.

I liked this spot. We tried a bunch of different food to get a taste of regular food for the area. It was all good. Not many things for my daughter to try since she can't have gluten. She is very allergic. We had to get her something in a different place. So it was a bummer to eat in front of her.

We tried poutine, fish and chips, chicken schnitzel, and steak pie.

The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. It looks like it's kinda of a locals spot, which I like. The service was friendly and helpful. Plus the food was prepared pretty quickly.

Stopped here for dinner. We had a large group but they seated us almost immediately. We were given menus and then we sat. And sat. And sat. The servers passed right by us to serve others without a single acknowledgment of be right with you!, sorry I m busy but I m coming etc. They wouldn t even make eye contact. And we all tried. Didn t even get waters. They sat many others after us. We waited almost half an hour and decided to leave. Not once did they speak to us after seating us. We should have listened to the customers we met outside who said that the service was bad. The food looked good on the menu. We never had a chance to try so I can t comment on that. We enjoyed everything else in Fernie but this place.

Great spot. Wapiti Burger is as good a burger as you can eat.

Good, solid beauty atmosphere. The beers go down real smooth, also the service and the food are real nice.
