This is a great school. I have been been in this school for 6 years now and I can tell you one of the most wonderful things I have seen is that many people have improved their characters. The bratty and naughty kids grew to become well rounded people. There is no disrespect, bullying, or harassment at ALL among peers. Yes! this school has its down sides, but that is all due to the fact that it's small and has a tight community. More emphasis on academics than sports. I can sympathize with the bad reviews because it's not an easy school, and requires effort. There is great improvement in students that come here. It's my final year in high school, and I had a negative view on this school before, but I now realize the effect that this school has had to our personalities. We, seniors are currently finishing our applications, and our counselors are doing everything to help us get to our dream colleges.

I have the amazing opportunity to be one of the teachers at this special school! We love our students and each other! It is a blessing to part of the HSA Garland family!

I have worked at this campus going on 8 years now. It is a great campus and I would highly encourage parents to bring there students here.

This school is a good school some of the teachers are rude but most of them are good. it has thing like gym,gardening, and robotics which you don't get at other schools. great school. i'm the flash. pretty good school don't listen to the other reviews.

Okay school for a charter school. Very disappointed in the efficiency of the office of HSI and HSA. Even more disappointed in the schools ability to hire and keep teachers. 3 weeks into the new school year and my child's 3rd grade classroom is on their 3rd teacher with talk of replacing her. Needless to say, my child isn't currently receiving a proper education. I haven't received a proper response from the school, either. Their athletics program downright sucks. No or limited physical education. They teach Turkish instead of Spanish or even French. Will not allow the children to speak, at all, during lunch. That's bordering cruel, imo. How to they expect children to learn and practice social skills of they're unable to socialize! I'm not sure I'll be keeping my children in this school for very much longer.

The teachers really push the students to excel. The homework load can be challenging, but it is a college-preparatory school focused on the sciences.

I am so sad my kids won't be attending this school any more. If I could clone Miss Tony Magwire I would. She's the best teacher my 6 year old ever had. She pays attention to all the details about your child and does what she can to help. My child could hardly read when he started 1st grade with Miss Magwire, but not only can he read now but finished 1st grade with an A/B Honor Roll. I love that you can email your child's teacher and they actually reply you. My 5th grader also had amazing teachers.
I just wish they can do something about the overcrowdedness the school has though. Dropping kids off and especially picking them up is a complete nightmare right now. I hope they fix that.

This is my 2nd year at Harmony. I am super excited about this school year and feel that we finally have a great team that works together to ensure the best possible educational system for each child. My son is also a student here. His teacher is on maternity leave for most of the semester and because of great planning and collaboration between the teachers and admin team his long term sub has been nothing but amazing. My son goes to school excited and always tells me something he learned that day.

The teachers are very compassionate and my children are well educated

I love this school. My son is pushed so hard and makes straight A's there. I have not had an encounter with a bully there and the teachers love my child. I have never seen it dirty and they offer lots of neat incentives that a lot of elementary schools do not. My son takes engineering, gardening and coding as well, and he is only in the 2nd grade! They are a bit disorganized, but all the extras make up for that. My son is super happy and has never had a complaint.

I started my career in 2014 at HSA Garland. It has been such an amazing adventure. My daughter is also a student here and she loves all her teachers!
Not too long ago, I had someone ask me why I chose to work for Harmony. I have always been so thankful for a team that can all work together through anything, share ideas with others who share the same passion for the success of our students. The fact that our students learn the required curriculum and still have the opportunity to take band, coding, engineering, character ed, and technology apps is pretty awesome!
I also love how we promote high level thinking along with a positive learning environment! Very blessed and thankful to be part of such a great team and have great support. The fact that I am given an opportunity to collaborate in order to continue on a road of growth and success is just icing on the cake! :)

I have worked at this campus for three years and found it to be a great experience. The teachers are hard working and very caring. Students are our top priority. I love the fact that we have special classes not found in a typical school such as character ed, engineering, coding, and all the extra technology time.

Really great school with a solid STEM program! I have had all my children attend this school system-The Academy and the School of Innovation. I was really impressed with the switch to distance learning and the attention that the teachers paid to the children's participation in activities. The administrators and teachers reached out to parents and students regularly and eased the Pandemic panic somewhat so that my children were able to focus on their academics. I also really appreciate the online option for the upcoming school year as I have no intention of endangering any child during a pandemic. Thumbs up!!!

I went to this school from kindergarten 8 grade my whole time there I did learn a few things but they don t have honers class like I do in my new school also I was getting bullied and the teachers did nothing until I got in too a fight. Also they say going to the school is free but you have to pay like $40 for the shirts or your out of dress code. DONT GO HERE PLEASE.

i go there and i am still here and have been since pre k i think it is the best
