Pescare Restaurant & Bar Review

Bad service and food was just about average. Moved our table unnecessarily, dirty fork, unprofessional waitor and plating of food. We got in and wanted to take a seat on a table at the front of the piano. Then the waitress and waitor didn't seem happy with us sitting on the bigger table. They then moved us to a smaller table informing us about a bigger group coming in and needing to take that table. As the night went no one ever sat on the table we had originally moved from. They gave us a dirty fork and forgot about our water for the table. The waitor and waitress was not professional in their manner. The tiramisu they plated was unprofessional with a bottom bit smudged away, attached photo. The brulee had too much egg. Bad experience overall. It's sad because we've eaten there about 8 years ago and the food along with the service was great. Must be change of management..

Very average pasta dishes, won't go back. Was looking forward to something special but my mothers gnocchi was floury and doughy. My pasta was warm in some parts and hot in others so maybe they heated it in the microwave.

Average Italian food, especially when compared to some high standard options in the area.

As fussy diners we did not have high expectations as the venue has been there forever but we were pleasantly surprised. Went there with a group of seven and the food was excellent, fish cooked to perfection, meat and salads great, chips long, atmosphere quiet enough to hear conversations. We even had a twenty year old bottle of wine and the waiter knew exactly how to treat it, filtered and decantered. We were all pretty impressed and will definitley be back. For the great prices to food and service ratio this place deserves 5 stars from us.

Possibly the worst "service" we have ever experienced at a restaurant. Mains coming out at the same time as starters, some mains never came. One of us had a starter, main and desert come out at the same time. The waiters had a care-free 'whatever goes' attitude. The one star rating I've given is because a few of the meals were slightly better than a heated up poo with spices. If you want to get something to eat, don't rely on this place.

Big place, I like their gourmet pizzas. The kitchen opens for food 1130am, can get coffee earlier....yummy vegetarian pizza

This store has too many seats. The store is not well placed, but the unexpected is that the taste is still OK. There should be some, usually eat and eat.

Though less people in the restaurant considering how massive the restaurant is, the service and food was mind blowing. Change of hand has made the restaurant even better. Would definitely come back.

I hardly leave a post but food was undercooked and it's by far the worst place I've ever eaten. Absolute rubbish.

Was very impressed as well as my friends especially my friends. Found the staff great and the food was great too. Still would like to see the roof above covered sorta ruins the atmosphere. But each to there own

Friendly and attentive staff. Food was delicious and a pretty decent serving size. I was a little surprised how empty the place was when I went for lunch on a Saturday. The venue was clean, tidy, and spacious. Worth checking it out with mains pizzas/pastas $20-25 range. Some 'main' options more. 2.5% surcharge for Amex - unlike.

Had a 3 course meal, food was very good.

I went there with a group of 14 people for a celebration. We were seated at the corner area with plenty of space. Service was good, the owner Sunny really looked after us and didn't charge for bringing our cake. Food was delicious and all arrived at the same time. An enjoyable night for us.

Had the 3 course lunch menu and it was pretty good, good value for money

Great service from start to finish and perfectly cooked steak.

We ordered 1 kids meal to share between 2 kids and the waiter even organised for the food to be split into 2 serves from the kitchen.

Will definitely be back.

Great experience. Service was second to none, even got given a plate of medjool dates while we were enjoying our wine. We went for the Seafoodplatter for 2 and it was amazing!!!

Still waiting for food an hour after ordering even though we are the only people in the restaurant. I hope the food tastes good. Edit: food was poor. Budget pot at best.

Friends (ex work mates)and I visited every 3 months for lunch .Lunch special menu great value .Not too busy on a Monday so not (as is everywhere these days !!! ) NOISY!!! Also normal menu really good.Wine selection good as well.

Good food and friendly service. We did have to wait for our food quite a while though.

We ate here last night, took over an hour for them to take our order, we weren't even offered a drink. We had to basically yell fpr attention. Ordered a risotto and chicken parma. Risotto was dry and bland and parma was bad. Salad was lettuce, onion and 1 piece of tomato with no dressing. Don't waste your time.

I tried to put a review on Dimmi after I visit this place but it was never posted publicly. Went for Valentines day, children were screaming when we entered the venue - they had probably just tried the food. Poor atmosphere, bland pricey food (paprika in marinara? just for one example). Poor wait staff were horribly overworked. Please avoid at all costs.

Pretty average Italian food, reasonable prices and portions but not very friendly staff.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU EXPECT:
1. Them to have a record of your online booking
2. To be asked if you want a drink
3. To be asked if you're ready to order (it took an hour)
4. All your meals to be served at the same time
5. To be asked if you would like another drink
6. To have your plates or dirty glasses cleared
7. To have your complaint about the atrocious service acknowledged.
8. To be given the correct bill.

Food was good, but it was the worst restaurant experience of my life. Especially on mother's day when they only offered a limited menu.

pescare's is lovely and comfortable and good eating.

Food was good. Service very slow and disappointed the kids meals came out last, well after a lot of others had already finished their meal.

$13 for three small arinchini balls.... waited over an hour for mains. Overpriced for below average food.

Good food, mixed service (good to start when they were busy, but waiters disappeared when wanting to order dessert and pay). Jazz band on a Friday night were pleasant but a bit loud for the restaurant.

Best milkshake I've had in awhile, lots of icecream and thick chocolate sauce.

They got a menu for kids which I adore in this place.

had a seafood pasta dish in here was amazing my friends also had the fish and chips and said that was great as well ..so not a bad place to eat ..

The service at the table was lovely, however the steak was over cooked. We sent it back and it took over 25 minutes to get a replacement, which we said don't bother about it as everyone else had finished eating.

Got here at 12:35, no one took my order until after 1:30 (I actually walked over to a staff member to give them my order). Entree came out 30min later, then no sign of main until the second time I complained (after 3pm). My father in law ordered at the same time & hasn't seen any food as yet, despite complaining too. Our table received meals in dribs & drabs, some received two courses at once & some didn't get anything at all. This included meals that were on the same order docket! Manager did not know at all what he was doing, clearly not capable at all & this was reflected in the way the whole session was run. Manager didn't even seem to care when I complained & no apology. Very little urgency in most waiting staff, one laughed in response to the delays in our meals.
Despite this, the food was to a good standard, with the exception of my "dessert" which looked to be the left overs in the tray just slopped onto the dessert plate. No offer of a coffee order when my "dessert" finally came out.
This is just my perspective, others on my table & some on other tables weren't so fortunate.
For a mother's day "special" this was possibly the most disappointing dining display I could've subject my wife & mother to.
I strongly recommend stearing clear of this place, one star is too kind.

Ordinary restaurant with ordinary food. Probably wouldn t go back. But nice attentive staff.

Had a fantastic lunch for Father's Day. The entree was slightly cold, but quick service and large portion sizes definitely make up for that. Will be coming back again to try the Seafood Platter.

Mid sized restaurant opposite village cinemas, right next to pancake parlour. Prices were mid range. The desserts looked a bit dry.

Service and food have taken a step back. I suspect that there has been a change of management. Look elsewhere for "authentic" Italian food.

Beautiful place .lovely tasty food.but they need to hire more staff,as poor they as they were running around none stop to serve and make everyone happy..

We love this restaurant, the service is amazing. Our favourites on the menu are the pasta
particularly the marinara with a kick of chillies. Yum!

Loved the food, it was excellent. I had Chicken Parma and that's the best I ever had and mum had risotto and cooked to perfection and the service was really nice. I would go back again and again and again.

Food wasn't very good, especially for the price. Bones in the fish. Service wasn't very good either. Not recommended.

My son and I had lunch there $30 for 3 courses.The Service was exceptional, the steak was perfectly cooked. The prices very reasonable.

Very good service, I enjoyed the dinner in Pescare Restaurant. I like the food and the environment.

Went to Pescare as was advertised as "authentic Italian". Ordered the Seafood Platter for 2. Nothing Italian about it. It was horrid Indian/ Middle Eastern type, ruined with horrible dressings, spices, disgusting. If you are looking for a good Seafood Platter, avoid this Restuarant like the plague.

Food is acceptable but overpriced. The cocktails were unimpressive.

Just ordered 1 pizza which took an hour to deliver and cold, called to give feedback and we were told to make a complaint to Uber Eats. Worst customer service, stay away from this place.

YUMMM!!! We mainly order all of our meals online & while unfortunately my Margherita pizza came stone cold it was still ok, but the Risotto & Ragu Gnocchi were soooo delicious!!! Great flavour & nice & hot. so yum!! :)

First time i have ever been in a restaurant where the staff wheel overflowing rubbish bins through the dining room while people are in there eating meals. Not a good look.

Very average expensive food.
Extremely slow service. There was one guy taking orders and serving and probably just one guy in the kitchen.

Won't be returning again.

Seats over 200 people. Food is barely passable. Salad for 20$ has no redeeming features, quite mean. Sorry
