Pericos Mexican Restaurant

First time ever going. I ordered the mole enchiladas. It came with three enchiladas, refried beans and rice. Very good. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. Will be going back.

Great spot for date night or when you cant decide what to make at home. The servers are usually super friendly and our food is always on point. Chips and salsa is delicious and arrives quickly to the table every time. The caldo de res is killer, but our absolute favorite dish is the beef empanadas with queso dip.

I visited my son in San Antonio.We went to Pericos for dinner. The food was very good. Our server Antonio Roque was absolutely delightful. When I go back to San Antonio I definitely will eat at Pericos again.

Very good food at a reasonable price. Service was great. I would have liked the music turned down a little, but the rest was great.

Been coming here since they opened, excellent food always. Also try Panchitos also family restaurant they are great. I known the Sepulveda Family since 1960. Great Family and excellent food I am sure originally cook by Lupita Sepulveda.

This is one of the best place to go after Church or anytime. The food is absolutely delicious, the service was excellent. Our server Crystal was great, friendly, patient, helpful in every way and VERY ATTENTIVE to the 5 of us. Truly this young lady is an asset to your company and a keeper. Always have great warmed salsa here with bottomless chips. The chipotle chicken enchilada had the best cream sauce. Mando was our waiter - fast, conscientious and professional service.

Very high priced and lack of selection. I have asked for soup and barbacoa on the weekends and they never have it I stopped going and went elsewhere. I rather go to the Mexican buffet down the street.

Food is very good, service is also good, BUT, im not a drinker so i asked for a virgin margarita and they said they dont do it.

It has taken me a little while to write this review for no reason at all, but it s about time. Pericos has been one of my go to restaurants throughout some time now. The menu is so strong with a little bit for everyone to love. If you want amazing service ask for Antonio, he is such an attentive young man. A+ service every time. Must try : Tacos Ricos

Food was great as usual, and Mando provided excellent service.

Enjoyable. We (5) had breakfast I had chilaquiles with the ranchero salsa on the side, it was very good. My wife had the Santos omelet, and it is large enough for two persons maybe three.

First time there, GREAT CHOICE MY Friend TIM LOVED IT. AND IF HE LIKES A PLACE IT STAY LIKED. HAD A GREAT WAITER NAME ALONSO. FAST, PLEASANT, NICE SURROUNDINGS AND DELICIOUS FOOD. THEY ALSO SERVE BREAKFAST DISHES. TRY IT.

Have not been out since the COVID started and our first place was Pericos. I must say our server Andrew was on point and very attentive while bringing stuff without us asking. Great atmosphere. But the lady at the register got orders ahead of me mixed up it took forever to get my food

The food was good! Our waitress Renata was very prompt, polite and professional. She was so attentive and took the experience from a 4 to a 5 star.

Pericos is a good place to be with great ambiance. The food is good when it is warm out of the kitchen. For the most part, I have to have my food taken back because it is cold and/or wrong. Don't ask about the to go order because it is always wrong when I put in an order. Once I get home, they forgot something or completely got the wrong plate. Customer service is horrible and the managers at this location on Bandera are unprofessional and don't seem to care about customers. To go host Diana is the I in friendliest person to walk in to when picking up your order.

I have been here more than a few times in the past month. Whether its date night, family night or just to drop in for a quick bite. Everytime the service has been excellent from the hostess to the bartenders and on to the dining area with all the great servers. The food is always hot and delicious! The amazing service is a perfect reflection of management and the teamwork from front of the house all the way to the back of the house! Nice to experience the pericos comradery. Great job team Bandera!!! Keep it up!

Very good food, margaritas & service. This is our go-to restaurant for Mexican (maybe Tex-Mex) food. Tortilla soup had an outstanding flavor.

We have been going here for years. This has been a Sunday staple for our family. Used to be associated with Taco Taco and Panchitos, so taste and menu selections were similar. Have changed owners recently and some things have changed. The food is still good, just not where it was at before.

The ambiance is great. Employees are friendly and fast. Also always attentive to your drink refills. Love their caldo and rice. Fajitas are great along with their chips and salsa. Aguas are delicious. Tortillas always homemade and warm.

4 stars for the wait, was a friday night they were busy. But overall a good experience.. food was great.. drinks as well.. but service was exceptional, Antonio made sure we were happy and compensate our time waiting being very fast and attentive, he took our drink order, got them fast and appetizer.. took out order.. didnt take more than 20 min for us being enjoying our meal.. we will coming back and ask for his service.

Ordered 2 glasses of wine. Two other tables that came in after us were served food before our drinks were served. When the drinks arrived, the white wine was warm. When asked, the waitress said they didn't have any chilled white wine. Also asked for guacamole and it was served to us brown. Mediocre service and food, will not be returning.
