This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. The food is always delicious, service is great, and we never have to wait for a table.

Very good chicken mole and amazing warm salsa with chips.

Food is mediocre, drinks are average and parking is terrible. Really would not go back - so many other choices that don't leave you dissatisfied. This is on par with a chain Mexican restaurant, nothing special here. La Fogata, Mi Tierra, Chaparral - so many other places.

After a reservation miscommunication, the manager, Jesus, emailed me with a sweet and sincere apology. He offered to make it right and indeed he did! He is an example of integrity and good manners. Thank you, Jesus, for righting a wrong and for giving us a wonderful evening filled with good friends and delicious food and excellent service! Pericos is still one of our favorite restaurants! Your mariachis are the best! Thanks again for everything!!!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Pericos today. Our waiter was courteous and made sure our experience was enjoyable. Thank you, Manny, for providing excellent service, as usual!

The service pesimo the sauces green and red super salads the meat lasts the hard and dry rice the drunk beans not bacon no sausage no coriander nothing .. the bns. Regulares I ordered fresh pineapple water and it looked like pure water with sugar first and last time I went to that restaurant to the very rude cashier.

First of all we were stuck in traffic for four hours from Austin to San Antonio we re taking my mother in and out to eat the traffic was very frustrating we were very hungry we intended to go to another restaurant but ended up at Betty goes because the other restaurant closed. We are so glad that we ended up at Pericos the drinks were excellent the food was excellent but the best part of our experience was the service. Angela our waitress was very attentive she was fast on her feet, very sweet even though were a little agitated she was very patient with us, She even called the manager out to greet us I thought she was top notch!

Always have enjoyed the food mariachis. Never bad food.Great service also.Thank you.!!

Great Mexican food! The Dave s Plate is a great combinations of authentic Mexican food! Their staff (especially Manny) are the friendliest and most courteous I ve ever seen! A must-stop place for all visitors to San Antonio craving Authentic Mexican food!

Luckily the food is good. Checked in by a lady who made it very clear we were bothering her with her deep sighs and half eye roll. Not the first time we've experienced this so definitely looking for somewhere else to enjoy good food.

Absolute amazing service! We had a large party this weekend and it couldn't have been any better. We had a small wait but that's typical for the weekend and for our amout of guest. Our server was outstanding and even the manager came to check on us make sure we had everything we needed. I believe her name was Crystal. She and the rest of the staff were so patient. Definetly will be coming back for future parties. Oh and the band was amazing.

Drinks and dessert was my request..loved it i had a tres leches slice of cake wich was delicious....

A bit disappointing. The beans were rather flavorless as well as the Tacos Al Carbon. The salsa was good but the chips were a bit stale.

The food was really good and we were served promptly.

The enchiladas weren't all that good, but the Sopapillas Mmm .. my mouth was already watering !! Well, to give it!

It was very good! We went on a Monday which meant $3 house margs and 2 for 1 fajitas for $17. The marg and the fajitas were delicious! We are excited to go back.

Pericos is a good place for a quick bite to eat or to spend time with the family for the ambiance. One thing we always get is the queso flameado. The dishes we get are filling and we have never had a complaint for what we've ordered. The wait staff is always friendly and provide prompt service for each visit we've had to the restaurant.

Nothing but great experiences here, the food the service and most definitely the guacamole!! If you come I would definitely recommend Manny to serve your food. He frequently checks up on you, asks you how you re doing and if your food is satisfying you!

We take out from Pericos on a regular basis and the food is consistently good and at a reasonable price. The staff are friendly and helpful. We will be back again real soon.

The food & drinks are good, but the music is so old school that it puts us to sleep!!!! They need a variety of Latin music, not just the old stuff!!!! The managers only play what they like JUST SAYING!!!! Love the BARTINDERS...go by & get a drink from Abe & Jordan!!

The menudo It's always really good, and the Barbados tacos too.

It is ironic that there are many empty tables and they tell you you have to wait 20 minutes. This for me is a very poor customer service policy.
They need to improve this aspect a lot to be better.

Good selction of food and italian margaritas are awesome.

As always, service was awesome. Large crowd but, we didn't wait more than 12 min. Food was great. Tea was good, not clear but, no bitter taste. Only chain I know where you get warm salsa which makes it better. Go, you'll like it!

So my girlfriend and I are such fans of Sunday s breakfast but today we wanted to try something different we sit at the bar and Antonio was the bartender, he was just amazing he make us have a great time and his drinks were o point. Definitely we are going back!

The food is always hot and the margaritas are always cold. The staff is very accommodating even without a large party reservation. Another reason to bring the family!

Service was good, food was okay but pricey. I really like the chips and roasted salsa.

Caldo too salty. Ate half only, brought it home to delute with water. Still give it 5 stars .

Drinks were flat,, food was cold, tortilla soup was tomatoes only.

They accommodate large groups. Which is good for large groups. Noisy place, okay food, good prices.

This was my first time at Pericos and I will most definitely be coming back. The food was very good but what put it over the top was my server Ulises. It is my 3rd year anniversary and I received some of the best service on my special day. Definitely recommend eating here, definitely ask to be seated by Ulises if you are looking for service with a side of kindness.

I have been going here for years!! This place was my favorite Mexican restaurant the food, the staff & the environment WAS awesome! Unfortunately what was one up is now down. New management has made poor management decisions. Total new staff, unfriendly & new to the business with no personality. I'm not sure who makes the decisions on food but it is completely different. The menus is still the same but the ingredients are just not right. The beans were not fully cooked, my old favorite salsa totally not the same & I had a hair in my food? Totally Gross! They give balloons to your kids to make up for all this mess. So if you want MC Donald's kinda food go here. I am so disappointed & sadden I have to find a new place.

My girlfriends and I went for lunch and the food was just ok...they had just opened and my food came out only luke warm...ordered a side of guacamole...its was $2 and was barely a spoonful. We weren't even finished eating and our server had dropped off our checks...when we go out we usually order drinks, desserts and we like to take our time.. we know that servers are there to make money...but we would of definitely taken care of our server if we hadnt felt so rushed.

Beautiful, relaxing atmosphere. Very attentive waiter. Food was delicious and received plenty of food for your money.

Antonio at the bar does an excellent job. Renee also is excellent and makes our visit a good one every time.

Antonio is a great server. his attention and speed are beyond spectacular. Last time I was there I ask him for extra lime for my menudo and to be cut on half . He went and did it him self to make sure it was like I ask. Really good service.
