Penn Stone is always inspirational. From the home store to stones the products are wonderful. My most recent purchase was a very large mirror.
I had been looking for a one that would function in the space and be a piece of art. This mirror is beautiful in terms of materials and design. Additionally, I have always enjoyed looking and selecting stones for outdoor use and ornament.

I am a residential home owner that had gone to Penn stone to get pavers for a back yard patio. I walked up to the counter and told a guy what I was looking for. He took me out to the paver section and started talking prices, I told him I was looking for $1.88 each, and he said they only can do$ 3.88 almost walking out of there I asked him per sq foot or paver?- it was per sq. Foot. I felt rushed and was not given any info or educated about the types of pavers I was looking at. I wasn't asking for how it was made, tumbled, colored, but at least tell me about maintenance. I knew what design we wanted and how many sq feet, so most of that work was done. I even had a comparison of a home depot print out, for him to look at. We then went inside and he made up a quote off of what I had asked for. I then left , and called later to go ahead with the quote. Stupid me should have had our brick layer look at the po before getting the quote because everything that the guy had on the po was wrong. The color, and the amount of stone needed, no caps etc. Now our project may be pushed back bc we had to RE do the order several times because they forget to put something on there. thanks to the non paying attention to detail ppl at Penn stone. Our project is supposed to get done this weekend and still no word on if we will get the stone in time. My word of advice you if you are a resident, if you are doing a job with Penn stone, bring the designer and brick layer with you and pick the stone out with them. Don't depend on Penn stone to give you the info that you need. They are obviously used to working with the contractor, not residents. They will rush you through and miss important details.
This summer, I took on a landscaping project in my back yard. Once I cleared out the ivy, I decided to put in a small patio area and have some flagstone walkways. I visited Penn Stone thinking that perhaps they won't be very interested in my small do-it-yourself project. To the contrary, everyone was eager to show me choices in stone for my retaining wall and rocks for my walkway. They educated me not only in the materials I needed, but techniques to do the job correctly. The materials were delivered that very day. I was so impressed. My recent experience at Penn Stone was the finest example in customer service and I highly recommend them for any job, big or small.
Fabulous selection; fantastic people working in there. A definite go-to spot for me to purchase outdoor pots, furniture, paving. Lucky to have them here in Lancaster!

We started working with Penn Stone in 2017 through a 3rd party hardscape contractor which Penn Stone recommended. We had all of his work completed by November 2017 and were incredibly pleased with the product and the installation. In the spring of 2018 we ordered a large amount of outdoor furniture and to date have taken delivery on about a fourth of it. We are so happy with the Lloyd Flanders seating and cannot wait for the balance of our orders. We are working with Kristen and she is so good in guiding us to the right products and colors. We are loving our outdoor cozy backyard.\
Friendly staff, gorgeous selection of indoor and outdoor decor...and they host amazing events throughout the year! If that weren t enough, they even donated some year-end miscellaneous items curbside to anyone willing to pick up! All good things to say about this business...

They had a good selection of natural stone. Bought 2 skids. The staff were knowledgeable about the products, which can be hard to find in this eta of big box stores. Delivery was included in the reasonable price, and they brought it right up to the top of my fairly steep driveway. A+ Penn Stone. Glad I found them.
Joyce was a great resource at Penn Stone. She sourced the fabric to match our new Lloyd Flanders outdoor furniture and was extremely accommodating to our needs. We purchased several items at Penn Stone and were delighted with the level of customer care, product knowledge and quality. We ve been pleased with their selection of stone and materials for outdoor landscaping projects for years now. More recently we discovered the lovely variety of unique patio accessories (like the stylish Fermob lanterns) and furniture available. Friendly and helpful staff. This local business is a great alternative to big box stores.

While I have never actually purchased anything from Penn Stone, I had an occasion to interact with a salesperson whose name is Joyce. She was probably the most pleasant and helpful salesperson I have ever dealt with.
Embarking on a front landscaping renovation project, our planner recommended Penn Stone and Joyce Burkholder for input on porch furniture. We knocked it out of the park! There is an amazing selection of items in a variety of price points. We picked great items that make my project pop! Excellent customer service, brainstorming and inventory!
This review is for the Outdoor Living/Furniture portion of Penn Stone- Each year, I select furniture for our company's home show displays and the staff there are always super helpful and very willing to go the extra mile to make sure that all of the fine details are met. They are friendly, very detailed and dependable. Most people would probably say that the furniture products are higher, but you get what you pay for and I do believe they offer the best quality products out there! Try them out!
