Atmosphere was quaint, portions were huge & prices were good... Service was good & quick. My famous chicken nuggets were from the kids menu, look at those nuggets baked haddock & shrimp w/parmesan crust was a special with onion rings & coleslaw..

Food is hot & delicious! But, lacks atmosphere, very lackluster. Table lights are cozy. Needs some jazzing up!

I had the clam strips dinner and it was delicious! Huge portions, tender clams cooked perfectly and great tartar sauce too! Very friendly and helpful waitress. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Great food, reasonable prices. Great staff, very friendly, quick service. And, enough good so you always have leftovers to bring home.

It is a small but nice restaurant. It's clean the food was good and the service is well.

I know its a seafood restaurant, but the prime rib I ate tonight was amazing! Always love the fish and chips as well.

My 1st time in and it was well worth the money. Big portions and taste like home cooking.

The clams we're not very good this time. Supposed to be whole belly and we're mostly strips. Very first time ever being disappointed in them. Corn bread was doughy in spots do to covering before completely cooling.

Don't let the looks fool you !! It's not much to look at, inside or out , but DON'T let that stop you from going in, you'll be glad you did !!! The food was great, huge portions and at prices you can't deny are the best around.... Crazylow I'd even say !!! I do not eat seafood, so I ordered the Angus burger, medium well. It was perfectly cooked,fresh tomato and lettuce on a soft as cloud bun !!! My mom eats there often and says the seafood is always great !!!! GO !!!! You will not be disappointed !!

The place is a small town restaurant and they do a fantastic job with their seafood and they have more than just seafood and it's a great friendly atmosphere with good waitresses.

steamers were mush and they dont seem to know how to make tar tar sauce

The specials were overflowing the plate. Chicken nuggets and paddock, clam chowder was creamy and hot! Very good!

Simple, unpretentious atmosphere. Friendly service. They bring a basket of cornbread to the table when you're served - nice alternative to rolls. Specials' prices are very reasonable. My sister and I ate there recently, and had the clam chowder as an appetizer - pretty good. We were allowed to split a chicken nuggets lunch platter, which we love at this restaurant. We got 10-12 large crispy-coated nuggets, nothing like they serve at fast food restaurants. You get a choice of two sides, so we got fries and onion rings. So sharing one lunch plate was plenty of food for the two of us. We really like this place, and definitely will go back to try the seafood, if we can force ourselves to order something other than the chicken nuggets!

I really like the food, it is consistently some of the best seafood around the prices are good and the people very friendly! Also the chicken nuggets are amazing! You will not be sorry!

A great meal at market prices. Local flare for a seafood place 75 miles away from the shore making it the next best thing to get your seafood fix. Chicken tenders for kids, limited parking when busy.

usually good food but the last time I went, the fish smelled fishy. gross, BUT I will give it another try!!:)

I work a second job on Cape cod where every restaurant is either a seafood restaurant or they atleast have seafood on their menu and believe me, I've tried most of them.. This place beats them all hands down and have become my favorite place for seafood..

My Husband and I had a great time, awesome food,everything was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection and the portions, plus the price of our meal was a pleasant surprise.....well worth another visit and we will reccomend this restaurant to our family and friends, also our waitress was wonderful and so was the rest of the staff ,thank you again for serving the town of Athol for so many years!!!!!!!!

Great food and service. The only problem is a sour smell near kitchen area and a run down atmosphere. It didnt bother me, the quality of food more than makes up for it.

Food was good. Had the lunch special and there was plenty to eat. Can't be beat for the price!

It's difficult to compare this to any other seafood in the area as it is pretty much the only seafood restaurant. That being said, they are not clammed up about it. Trust me..... even the cornbread appetizer is good. Stop in to get your fish fix.

Today we looked up seafood places nearby and found this great place ! When I mean great I say it was terrific fresh fish and chips and slaw is great and fried shrimp definitely will be coming back for more!!!! Owners are very welcoming and staff is great! Thanks Ed you do have the best

If you like fried food you may enjoy their cooking, the fried stuff is decend.
I've tried eating here twice, the ONLY thing I like from their menu is the clam chowder.
Gross otherwise.

We've been going to New England Seafood since moving to Athol and we've NEVER been disappointed! The food is always fresh, hot and delicious! The service is great. The ambiance is very, very casual & the surroundings are not subpar, but the food & service makes up for all that. Not a fancy place but good food!

Great food and generous portions. However, the guy behind the counter seemed more interrested in playing a game on his phone than anything else. Also the dress of part of the staff left alot to be desired. The guy behind the counter had a t-shirt, shorts and flip flops. The busboy the same except for no flip flops . Not very professional. Our waitress was dressed neat.
On entering, there is a sign saying "Please wait to be seated ". Our man behind the counter yells take any seat that's open.

I love this little place. The food is always delicious, staff is friendly and prices are good. We are very lucky to have it here in town.

Delicious, Normally i wouldn't encourage seafood in athol, but this is an exception of the highest order. I have never been disappointed with anything here, and I've been here many many times!
