Comfortable, clean, friendly, helpful staff. The cinema gets films quickly after release. Great bar and intermission like the old cinema's used to be, also great shows here.

Wonderful. Reminded me of when I was a child and what a treat going to the cinema was.

Good cinema, good prices and great that it has an interval.

Great local cinema. Local produce, alcohol available from the bar and a 10 minute mid film interval which is ideal for many reasons. Toilet, snacks, drinks, stretch and yummy yorkshire ice cream. Spot on.

Like stepping back in time, love the half time interval for ice cream

Good value, friendly and welcoming experience, taking things at a more leisurely pace. Step back in time whilst seeing the latest film releases along side live shows in a charming building steeped in over 100 years of history.

Great traditional cinema which still has an interval.

Beautiful traditional cinema, with balcony seats and a bar. They sell ice cream at the interval (yes an interval!) And the price for tickets is well below other cinemas. The only downside is that their showings of new films are about one/two weeks after the initial release date. However, I think the experience of an old style cinema is worth it!

A great place for entertainment from movies to music they always have a varied theme on to entertain all.

Penistone paramount pictures is a great cinema, quaint,not too big and not too small,has a bar and lovely staff,has a lot of new released films, a organ, theatre productions and now I saw the streaming of Take That's concert tonight,which they have regular, very enjoyable and plenty of seat room,would recommend.

I love Penistone Paramount. A truly old fashioned piece of nostalgia. I love the intermissions during movies where you can buy ice cream just like the good old days.

I have been there many times in years gone by there is a big car park they have organ recitals pantomimes and there is a bar they have good pictures good all round entertainment

Absolutely Excellent. My wife has been to theatre performances here before and has spoken highly of the venue and events.
This time it was to take our young grandson to see The Disney Film - Moana. We went for the 2pm Saturday performance. The Film was great. The Projection and Sound system(s) excellent and this 'traditional' old style picture venue with attentive & considerate Staff were ALL superb.
With Stalls and Circle, Trailers, Intermission, a well stocked Bar (at reasonable prices) and even an 'ice cream' usherette.
The Penistone Paramount lacked nothing.
The Toilets whilst not modern are fresh/clean and obviously very well serviced.
With a very varied Programme throughout the year, we'll definitely come back. A BIG Well Done to all involved.

Delightful period building full of character and charm.

A great independent cinema which continues with the older traditions of an interval and ice cream seller. Great value compared to the sterile multiplexes for both entry and food & drinks. Perfect for family viewings and with the added benefit of a bar. I hope it continues this way, but worrying plans to expand it seem to put this at risk.

Brilliant place. Clean comfy very helpful staff. Had a lovely nostalgic evening.

A great 'old fashion' cinema and a nice change to the usual multiplex experience. The interval to get a drink or icecream is a nice novelty. Tickets are reasonably priced and parking is free.

First class as always, great scanning tickets process for quick entrance, lovely staff

Impossible not to fall in love with our local cinema. Been going regularly since we moved here 20 years ago.
Comedy night not to be missed aswell at the NT live events.
Cosy bar and drinks at half time .. what more do you need ?

This venue brings back the fun and adventure of a trip to the Cinema years ago, friendly staff, excellent value, a licenced bar and an intermission to top up on snacks and drinks, so much on offer at the venue including new cinema releases, streamed concerts, plays and live performances.
