I needed a 20k service done on my BMW s1000RR. In short, Peak Powersports is a really nice dealership and I was helped by Darcy and Lori from Service. Everyone was really friendly and Ronn helped service my bike back into top shape.

Best of all, the price I paid was actually 100$ cheaper than the quoted price. It was an amazing experience.

Will definitely return again!

Great sales and service team. Bought a bike from them in 2018 and have been impressed with the sales and service team over the past two years. Josh was great to deal with when buying the bike. His non-pressure approach and fun attitude made it a really enjoyable experience. Service department was on time and easy to work with. Recommended it a friend who also bought a BMW and he has had the same great experience. Have since bought 2 other bikes from other manufactures and dealt with multiple sales and service centres. Peak Powersports has remained the benchmark for my expectations to which I measure other dealerships.

Used Peak Powersports for the first time. I was excited to hear that there are BMW certified Master Mechanics in Barrie. I can't say enough about how great the experience was. Got in quickly for a service on my BMW. The quote was reasonable and I was happy to see that the mechanic was more reasonable in saving me money by not replacing the parts that were still in good shape. I walked out with savings for the first time at a service dealer. The staff were great, even coming out to the parking lot to meet me at drop off due to COVID. I will most certainly be back in the future.

Always have a great experience at Peak Powersports...

Always have a great experience at Peak Powersports. Proud owner of a BMW and the team provides great service. Had my wheels and tailpipe replaced and at the end of it all, you can't tell my bike was worked on. No maring on any of the attaching hardware. The tech that worked on my bike obviously puts pride in his work. Will definately be back. See you guys soon. Craig

BEWARE! We purchased a Polaris Outlaw50 for our 6y...

BEWARE! We purchased a Polaris Outlaw50 for our 6yr old. From day one it had issues. 1st trip back to dealer they blamed on carburetor, 2nd trip they replaced the carburetor, 3rd trip we expressed that it seemed to be associated with moisture, as we only dealt with problems on humid, wet days. They AGAIN said it was a carburetor setting and that there was no moisture problem. Less than one month later and it won't start. We bring it to a local repair shop(not Polaris approved, 4th repair in a year) and they find a gasket that had not sealed and has caused extensive damage, seizing the top end. Peak PowerSports expresses that it is out of warranty and that the original problems were not associated with the moisture issue, talk to manufacturer, who sends us back to the dealer.
BEWARE! Polaris is great, go elsewhere to buy one!!!

I had been doing my research and looking for a Polaris Slingshot SLR for a few weeks. Supply and Demand really became evident with this model. Not only could I NOT seem to find one in my own backyard , I was having difficulty locating one in Ontario. Though the dealer closest to me seemed to try it just didn t pan out. I began chatting and having e-mail discussions with Gary (owner I found this out later) from Peak Powersports in Oakville. Unlike others, Gary kept the line of communication flowing and kept me up-to-date with his search results on my behalf. My wife suggested we go for a drive on a Saturday morning and ended up in Barrie. We figured we would visit Peak Powersport s Barrie location as my wife had not seen or sat in a Polaris Slingshot yet. As soon as we walked in the door and we were greeted by Nathan (President I found this out later) and struct up a conversation. I was ABSOLUTELY amazed that Nathan not only knew who I was but knew exactly what I was looking for within a minute of talking. He said Gary has been looking all over for a Slingshot for you and he went on to list off my wants and needs as communicated to him by Gary. It was just by fluke that my wife suggested we go for a drive and that Barrie s Peak Powersports location was having a Ride Day so Gary was there. Nathan introduced us to Gary and only then did we learn that Gary and Nathan were the owners of Peak Powersports two locations. AND the way it was brought into the conversation was that, they, as owners, were focused on customer service rather than their position within the company incredibly noble on their part. The guys had a 2018 Polaris Slingshot SLR demo on sight that was mint. Through negotiations between us, Gary, and Nathan, we were able to strike a deal that was favourable to all.
Not only did Gary and Nathan make us feel welcome so did the Service Manager George. While we were working our way through the process, I was introduced to George. During my conversation with George it was reinforced that this is a Top-Notch outfit and we came to the right place. Note to Nathan and Gary keep this Guy George is not only a true professional he represents your company with pride. High-Five to you George.
Four days later we had our Polaris Slingshot SLR delivered to our garage door by Nathan. Nathan went over the machine and then went over all the paperwork/documentations at our kitchen table with a very friendly and non-business demeanour. It was like we were dealing with a friend .
Enter two others from Peak Powersports who deserve mention Lawrie (General Manager) I believe the spelling is correct...my apologies if not. However, her intuition and sense of knowing is unmatched. She was soooo welcoming AND must have known somehow that this deal was bound to happen as she wanted to take pictures of my wife and I in the Slingshot from the get-go. Once the deal was done those pictures did happen thank you!!!
Cheryl (administrator extraordinaire) Our hats are Off-to-You Cheryl. Unfortunately, most do not know or understand the behind the scenes administrative work that has to ensue pre, while, and after a sale has been completed. I, for one do .AND I appreciate your efforts Cheryl. My wife and I thank you.
In closing, Peak Powersports (Oakville or Barrie) are THE places to do business. Every level of customer service was exceeded!!!...They ABSOLUTELY ROCK !!!

Great experience with the Barrie store.
Bought a Chieftain Dark Horse in December and Lawrey was the person I dealt with. She was awesome right from the start. With some haggling and the promise that I would buy a coffee she gave me a fair trade for my Victory High-Ball (which I forgot to bring....sorry)
I am going to call and make a service appointment and I m sure that will get 5 stars as well.

I find it difficult to give bad reviews. I try to see the positives and give the benefit of the doubt... but I just can't do it for this business. Aside from a great visual presentation and a good selection of inventory, there isn't much substance beyond that to be found here. People with the disposable income (eg. Want vs. Need) to purchase your products want to be engaged in a professional process, and work with knowledgeable people who know their way around a deal. It isn't good enough to "wing it" anymore. The products that you sell are excellent, and most buyers are aware of this. The rest of the experience needs work and leaves something to be desired.

Update. Picked up my BMW last night. Lori at the service desk was very understanding with my frustration at the time it took to fix my bike. She was very professional and did everything in her power to address my concerns. She made sure I left a Happy Camper . Ron the mechanic brought my bike out and spent the time going over all the work that he did. Again Very Professional . Thank you Lori and Ron!
Not a happy camper! Waited 2 weeks for a service appointment for my K1200LT.It needed an oil change, and replace a brake line. It s now been with them for 9 days, and they finally have it on the bench. Now they re waiting for a part. Not sure when I ll get my machine back, but I guarantee this will be the last time I use Peak Powersports to work on my bike. If they were upfront with me at the beginning and told me it would be 2 weeks at their shop I could have made other arrangements with another shop to get it fixed in a more timely fashion. Instead, my bike has been out of commission go over a month, and I m still without my bike. With our very short riding season, a month is a long time! I ll keep updating the status of my bike.

Met with the owner. Great guy. Took the time to go over stock with me. Some amazing lines of products. Wide open, and comfortable to be in. Friendly staff and I got to see in their work shop. Clean Nd well organized. Says a lot about a good owner. They also have some epic side by sides. Priced a bunch out on my own. Prices displayed properly. And I had questions and the staff answered what I asked. Very classy place. You know you are getting good products here for sure.

My friend Omar and I went to this dealership from Markham to see the scout sixty. When we arrived we were greated by Bruno. He took the time to go every details and answered our questions. We purchased 2 bikes. After the sales we requested many changes to the bikes and accessories which he did with a smile. I thought at some point he would throw us out of the dealership with all the request and changes. He was always happy to help. We stayed pass closing time 2 times and he didn't rush us. Thank you Bruno for helping 2 Indians buy Indian lol

I purchased my first Indian recently, a 2021 Scout Bobber ABS, and I cannot say enough good things about my salesperson, Alex Mazurek. Alex and I communicated only via email and phone calls as I live far away from Barrie (Kingston). He patiently answered all of my questions, and if he didn t know the answers, he looked them up for me. He was a godsend in helping me to make my final decisions on everything I wanted to add to my bike. And he gave me a great deal in the end. I m still waiting to hear back from the service department on my 800km service appointment for my bike (so I can book a trailer & trip to Barrie asap), so I will review the service dept after I ve completed that first visit. In the meantime, please give Alex his accolades from me for a job well done. I will be back to buy my next bike from him in the future.

A few months ago I walked in this dealership to look at an F700GS. At first, the place looked very intimidating because of its high end look and I didn't expect to be entertained very much. Boy was I wrong! The sales rep and another person (who I think is the owner) were very welcoming and even introduced me to the BMW master mechanics at the shop. We chatted a little bit about bikes and gave me some more information on purchasing. When I stepped out of the dealership, I'm convinced that I will be buying my next BMW motorcycle here.

Very disappointed. If I could rate negative stars...

Very disappointed. If I could rate negative stars I would. Promised one price then a day later it has increased by $250.00. Very poor attitude by the salesman and if I don't buy from them, good luck getting service or warranty. The exact words were "If you buy in the city, you can take it there for warranty and service". Not very classy at all. I spoke with the so called manager that basically read from a script on what to tell me, however would not honour the original price her salesman gave me. The manager is just on paper, more of a title than anything else. She can't make any decisions and has to contact someone else, who never did return my call or deal with my issue. They would rather loose a local customer than be honourable, very sad indeed and a very poor business practice in a small city. Buyer beware!!!!
2 week update an still no phone call. So I went to Barrie Honda powerhouse and met with Stuart. Got a real deal on the Honda my son wanted and he's extremely happy. I then met Fernando from St Onge and purchased a new Kawasaki ATV for my wife. Both these businesses are local and firmly entrenched in our city. They have great products, service and sales. They employ local hard working people and they will definitely be here for the long run. Why would anyone want to be played by peak power sports? I find that peaked power sports take the ostrich approach to negative feedback,just bury your head in the sand and it will go away. Both Lawrie and Ty should be fired on the spot for there poor customer service and lack of commitment. Don't waste your time or money on a company that isn't going to stay in the area. Sooner or later they will return to Oakville and be nothing more than a bad memory. Spend your hard earned cash at St Onge, Barrie Honda powerhouse and Barrie Harley Davidson. They have the real products and people who are entrenched in our city.
Oh to the contrary I did come into your store and after wandering around watching 2 guys playing on a computer in your Indian section lol, a grey haired gentleman from your ATVs approached me and asked if he could be of assistance but he didn't know the BMW line. 2 points for trying. The bottom line as a first responder with limited time I do most of my dealings by phone or email. Both purchases made at st Onge and Barrie Honda were made that way. The fact is your business is already failing. The slingshot has failed, BMW 310 made in India by TVM is nothing more than a banged apache, india quality, lol. Look in the Autotrader and you see more Polaris ATVs for sale than anything else. And finally the polaris bastertization of the Indian ,which has failed many times. I drop by the going out of business sale ......Go Colts go lol.

Poor customer service and worst branch manager. Highly discourage anyone to go there and give them any business. Did a mistake to buy my bike from there. I will formally lodge a complaint with full details to Indian Motorcycle head office. Customers are ill treated by the Branch manager. She has to learn first how to service customers. I will ensure that no one from my contacts goes to you.

Oh. Where to begin? I was in search for a new adve...

Oh. Where to begin? I was in search for a new adventure bike. Was looking at the 2021 BMW 1250 GS 40th Anniversary but then I came across a needle in a hay stack! 2017 Triumph Tiger 1200 Explorer. 9083kms. Never Ridden, in my opinion.

Sent in an inquiry and Nate got back to me. Told me the history on the bike from what he knew. Really took the time to answer my question. The bike was described exactly how it was presented in the photos. Being over 2 hours away its hard to see a bike that may fit the profile. With confidence, from what i was told about the bike, I went ahead with the purchase. Not having a trailer to tow it home Nate was kind enough to bring it down to the OAKVILLE location. There we met up signed the paper work and finalized the deal.

Let me tell you. Pictures they had on this bike didnt do it justice. The bike was amazing. Detailed beautifully, and was exactly how they told me it was. This bike had a ton of extras on it!!! Im very happy with my purchase and can tell you that the personal experience was amazing. You get the "family feel" from peak powersports. They greet you with a smile and they remember your name. If your in the market for a bike talk to peak powersports. They feel like the small town garage everyone goes too. Good reputation and amazing staff.

Thank you again Nate and team! I am looking forward to breaking in my new adventure bike.!!

With a very unique situation.
We had a snowmobile that just wouldn't run.
Several other dealers had attempted repairs over the last two seasons, but they all came up short.

The Peak team took a professional & methodical approach to our situation.
We came out with very happy outcome.

We have a perfectly running sled!

The difference was their talented professional & experienced teams.

Horrible experience with this dealer. Would never recommend to anyone..even if I hated them. Far from welcoming and didnt seem to care that I had money to walk out with a bike...try to get them to throw in hand guards for a 13k bike...oh that's an extra 100 bucks..hilarious how they nickle and dime for everything. Their "In House Financing" isnt actually "In House" it's either through National Bank or Desjardan..so..only 2 options for banks? What a joke..in house financing is precisely that.."IN HOUSE" not subbed out to one of only 2 banks.
Save your money and your tylenol. To say this place is misleading..expensive..and full of arrogance is an understatement.

The staff were so helpful in setting up the appointment and ensuring that it went smoothly. They quoted accurately the cost and even finished the work an hour faster than expected. So I asked if he could put a couple of them behind the desk and write my name on them as my wife is coming by to pick them up with my 2 young boys that are staying in truck as they go crazy in that type of store. Hi Nathan,

I confirmed with your staff before coming to the shop to exchange the helmet. And your staff had mentioned that it should not be a problem to exchange the helmet. Only after the confirmation I came to the store. And in store when I came things changed all on the sudden. Branch manager had no time to talk to me and I felt or had a feeling that she was ignoring me which is not the right behavior. Also I had come with my kids all the way there in my busy schedule.
If it was for health and safety reason, I wanted to bring to your notice that when I came to your branch, your sales guy showed me few helmets from the new box and also also asked to wear and see for fitment. I think in that case that is also a health concern because now I am not sure how many people would have tried those helmets.
Also your sales guy should have told me or suggested me to go with closed helmet and should have explained me the pros and cons. In that case, I would have at the very beginning itself gone with full cover helmet. It was only after few rides I realized that half helmet is an issue for me because of high winds hitting face directly.
I had bought 2 helmets, I told your manager that my spouse helmet is not used at all as she was not comfortable to sit in the back seat without the passenger backrest. So I requested the sales guy and the manager to atleast exchange that helmet for me but your manager did not have time to listen to my request.
I had actually come to your store to buy the backrest and also exchange of helmet but the way the manager treated I just came out of your store. Also on my first visit after paying the advance on June 27th, I was told the bike will be delivered on 7th July however the bike was delivered only on 10th July (for which I have no complaints because dates may change here and there). However, I had sent an email to your manager to request her to see if the bike can be delivered sooner but I never got a reply from the store manager till date. Also in the store, I was waiting to talk to your manager and she was just talking to one of her staff and showed me sign to wait. And after sometime I saw she just walking to her cabin just ignoring me. And when I asked one of your staff again to see if your manager is free she just went in the cabin and asked her that I am waiting to see her. And after sometime she came and just told that helmet can not be exchanged. If that was the case, your sales guy should have told that helmet exchange is not possible and I would not have wasted my time with kids to come over there.
Having said above, I also appreciate the service you provided to deliver the vehicle and to fix the issue for which I give 5 star. However, regarding this also your people did not do the due diligence due to which yourself and I had to face few issues and you had to come back again to fix the issue.
Let me know Nathan, you as a customer (put yourself into my shoes) and tell what would be your review comment/ customer experience if you had faced the above situations. I agree to you point that you have to stand for your staff but you also have to look into customer issues and concerns and try to address in a best possible manner so that you get good business through existing customers.
Actually this is not the forum to discuss the above points but since you pointed some things so I also had to write my points in the forum. I was expecting some professionalism from your side that when I put my review here, you people will contact me in person to discuss on the dis-satisfaction. But again, this proves that you people don't care on customer dis-satisfaction.

Josh looked after me when I traded in my Panigale 1199 for a new S1000RR. He was polite and a pleasure to deal with, and there was no b.s. Peak gave me almost $3,000 more for my trade in than Maranello Moto Sport rudely offered me (avoid them) and Peak also matched the advertised online price of another dealership. If you're looking for great service and prices don't hesitate to deal with the guys at Peak Powersports at Barrie.

great service, drove from collingwood to attempt an over the counter diagnosis on my atv, and they brought out a tech to talk with me and helped me out fantastically, hooked me up with a list of fluids ill need for my entire machine and spark plugs etc. all with out seeing the machine its self. their techs truly know their stuff. 100% recommend this place. very professional but also not over whelming.

Great! The people were warm and welcoming, especially Nathan and Gary (up from the Oakville shop). They answered all the questions me and my wife had, even tried to set us up for a demo ride of the Slingshot (unfortunately sold by the time we asked). I would highly recommend stopping by here and taking a look around. The whole atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming.

I was a first time customer for service repair.

Great Manager and Mechanic. They were very accommodating taking the time to answer all my questions when I dropped off my snowmobile. They also kept me apprised of the situation during the warranty repairs.
I will defiantly deal with them in the future for both sales and service.
