I thought they were great until i was told by another repair service that my hard drive should have been replaced with a solid state Hard drive. I had to go back twice to PC and on the third time they "needed" to replace my touch pad (175.00) I will never take anything back to them as all they care about is making sure you will have to come back for additional repairs= Spend more money.

Friendly customer service. Called two days before i had expected my laptop to be ready. Not only did they identify and replace my hard drive as needed, but they bumped it up from a 500gb to a 1tb. They also gave me an extra laptop charger when i came to pick it up. Granted it was a $100 repair but the small additions were nice touches. Would come back if i needed any other repairs done

EDIT: the very last thing I saw on my laptop before I took it into their shop was an INDIVIDUAL touchpad selling for less than $20 so charging me $100+ for a touchpad when I SAW ONE WAY LESS is shady. Additionally, I made it known I have another inspiron laptop with the similar touchpad THAT I WOULD DROP OFF AND THEY CAN USE THAT but they were heavily reliant on ordering a new part instead of using a like new part in a laptop I do not use. Furthermore, my friend who is great with tech and cars even said PC help and other companies are trying to scam people because he said he could do it in last time and way less cash than what PC help service quoted me.

Lastly, I made it known I went through all the tips and tricks online before bringing my laptop up there so instead of asking me to turn on the (which i disable intentionally) they decided to do things without me giving approval. They also stated I did not use the proper channel despite the fact they were closing within 10 minutes so me calling them after I made it home wouldn't have work plus the fact I tried visiting the store 10 minutes before closing and it was lock (I bought in the exact laptop the next day to have a SSD install). I did, however, send a message through their website, like i have several times before, but this time they never returned a message like they have in the past so to say I did not try and reach out is a lie and maybe check your voicemail and inbox before claiming such thing.

1. The moment you turned on the updates, you did ""additional work"" because I was not informed. Laptops do not come with those settings off, they have to be turned off.

2. When my laptop arrrive at the desktop screen none of my icons were on the taskbar and this laptop is NEVER OFF unless I am at work and its sitting in my locker. I know what program I attach to the taskbar so do not lie.

so in summary, they tried to trick someone who assemble a gaming pc and installed max ram for three laptops, research what part needed replacing, and EVEN PLACE A BET that the company would charge me for a new part instead of taking my constant advice of using my part laptop instead of ordering a new part that would take days when I do not have days when it comes to this laptop. So if you value your sanity and want to make sure you get more bang for your cash, always bring in parts to their location with the computer and eat into their parts + labor revenue otherwise i recommend becoming friends with a highly smart technology person who will help you with your computer for FREE like myself

Original post:
I took my Dell Inspiron 7559 gaming laptop in to see what was wrong with the touchpad. When I heard the price and decide to take it home I had a sinking feeling something was up. I get home and boot up my laptop and I notice several things been tamper with in my laptop settings and the taskbar. If you're task with fixing the touchpad why are you browsing the customer's computer and touching their taskbar??

This is the last time I will ever use these people and maybe file a lawsuit in the future for doing things on my laptop that should not be doing. I RECOMMEND ALL FUTURE CUSTOMERS TO EXAMINE YOUR COMPUTERS AND LAPTOPS BEFORE LEAVING THEIR BUILDING!!!

I have used PC Help Services at my home or on a remote site hookup (office to home) a number of times over the past three or four years. I have found their service consistently very satisfactory and reasonably priced. Matt Wilson and Matt Conner are both likable and very knowledgeable.

I have held off for a few months for writing this review, as I feel that any good service review should stand past 6 months.

DO NOT GO HERE.

I will paraphrase this review by saying this.
My issue was that my computer screen got cracked. The screen was damaged, and I went to PC repair to get a new screen. This process would take a few weeks.

The first time I got the computer back, the screen was flickering wildly when I turned it on. I don't know if they bothered to check the PC when they had fixed the issue, or what, but there was flickering within 5 minutes of the computer being turned on.

I took it back

Again when I got the computer back, I turned it on, and this time the display would flicker and then wildly align itself in seemingly random places.

I took it back.
Finally this time, they told me it was a refresh issue, and they had it fixed. But by this time I NEEDED my laptop for school and work. In the last half a year or less, I have seen constant screen issues. The problem was never fixed. Now anytime I take my pc charger out of the laptop, within minutes I get flickering issues.

I spent good money here (around 2-300) to fix my laptop, and while I have a new screen! (yipee) it flickers wildly, and I wonder why I even bothered to trust a repair shop which wasn't my laptop's service department. Save your money and go literally anywhere else.
