Great food and nice atmosphere, but there is a line out the door sometimes, and don't try to wait because once you get your food you won't have a seat.

Fantastic quaint spot! The walk up counter gives a very chill vibe, and the food makes this a perfect any occasion restaurant!

Great food, solid selection of pasta. Al dente is always a bonus. The bolognese is about as authentic as it gets.

Always go there for their roasted salmon and pasta dishes. The food is fresh, simple, hearty, and delicious. The full size portions are very generous, enough for 2. Service is reasonably paced.

Fettuccine alfredo was flavorless and chicken dry. Much too expensive for what we got. I get better flavor out of a can from HEB

Good Italian food. Portions are huge. A half order is great for one person.

Great food. I have been eating here since it opened. I do have one major complaint, however, when eating there between 11 and 1 on Saturdays, the kitchen insists on hammering. away loudly at tenderizing their chicken, which is quite annoying while your trying to enjoy your meal and visit with friends in an ambience that already suffers from bad acoustics
Don't get me wrong I dearly love Paulie's and the wonderful loving Paulie Petranella that owns it. It is my hope they address this minor but annoying issue with the kitchen tenderizing their chicken while devotees of Paulie's are longing to enjoy the great food at this outstanding eatery

The food is amazing and the portions are giant. And don't forget to grab a glass of their Italian wines.

I love the fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken because it s so creamy. The portions are great too! Definitely worth the wait time!

This place has awesome salads and sandwiches, but I mostly go there for the spaghetti because it's the best! Also the staff it's always very polite and store is always clean. But that spaghetti tho!

Ok. Nothing really special but it's not bad. I had the fettuccine within chicken. Good ambiance but there can be a little of a wait depending on the time you go.

Terribly slow for a stand up order. Food is boring, nothing special. The amatriciana could have been something if it wasn't so spicy (and I love spicy food). The canesti is just boring. Terrible.

BEST COOKIES IN TOWN

While this place has good HOMEMADE fresh pasta and some delicious "real" food options, I endorse the cookies ALL DAY EVERYDAY.

I have only visited Paulie's once for a meal. I was with my GMA and Aunt so I got to try a little of 3 meals. All was good. I would definitely get mine again. Creamy rich mushroom sauce

But. Yall. Those cookies. I'm a #CookieWhore and can almost guarantee 5% or more of my BMI is thanks to cookies. Paulie's iced sugar cookies are amazing. Literally so freaking good. I've been back 2 addition times since mid March to just get cookies. And no I dont live close and no I wasnt already close by. And I hate traffic. So all that is a testament to how good they are. 5 stars!!

The food is good, casual style dining, be sure and save room for for dessert.

Love the homecooked food! Staff is just great! Always clean! Worth the trip. Con is parking and maybe prices. But it's worth trying.

Very friendly staff. Helped me choose my selection by taking the time to provide valuable information on the choices. Decided on grilled Tuna sandwich, medium rare. The tuna was very good quality, an excellent meal.

I can t say enough good things. Delicious food, homemade pasta, great prices, and an incredible staff that offers exemplary customer service. I find myself eating here at least twice a week. My fav is the bucatini ( spicy and so good) and the summer salad. Must go place in Houston!

Amazing fresh mozzarella tomato and basil salad. The rigatoni Bolognese was surprising. Nice touch to offer half orders of most of the menu items as well.

Best of the best!! We typically go for the holiday cookies, because they are true masterpieces. We've never found decorated cookies that compare, not even in NYC or Europe. LOVE!!

A quaint place with friendly prices and good pasta. I didn t like that they were closing up minutes after my food arrived at 9:25pm.if they want to close then they shouldn t sell me my dinner.

One of my favorite restaurants in Houston. The food is top notch and service is terrific. Not wanting them to change this, but their prices to the quality of their cuisine are amazingly low.

Very cute building both in and outside. Staff was one of the most friendly I have ever experienced in Houston. Food was fantastic and the lighter portion was still more than I could eat it one setting!

A must eat here love the Mediterranean pasta (made at the location) with artichoke hearts and greek olives choice to add Chicken or Shrimp. Ginger tea yeah I'm hooked.

The two plates I tried were delicious! The workers were incredibly nice and helped us out when ordering. However we stayed and chatted a bit and felt rushed out of our table at the end, when they weren't too busy. Also the cookies were quite as good as I expected. But the entrees were amazing.

Paulie's is super cute and charming making it a great place to relax and have dinner with a friend after a long day.The Shrimp BLT is my favorite thing I've ever ordered at Paulie's. The sugar cookies are decorated according to the season and they're usually pretty tasty. The portion sizes for salads and pastas are huge so I would recommend ordering smaller portions.

My girlfriend and I go here several times a week. The food is always excellent and consistent. This is a great place to go for a quick but very high quality Italian meal. Everything is made fresh in house and the staff is always extremely friendly. I highly recommend checking this place out!

First time here. Interesting to find a long line for lunch on a Saturday. The wait was average and the food was okay. A bit pricey for what you get. Had an Italian sausage panini that had just a few slices os sausage. Still wondering about the line and could be it's location.
