I have taken admission in B.Sc. Agriculture. This university is quite old and ill maintained so Infrastructure is also not good. The most important thing is that they are not ready to co-operate with the outsiders(those who belong to other states and have taken admission through icar) rather they want us to follow their culture and language. Even professors are not good. Moreover they have added many subjects that are just useless. The most important thing is that they have so much of paper work and formality. A lot of time is wasted in this. We don't get time to study and are just trapped in them. It would take atleat 2-3 months to settle all the work. Allover my experience in this university was very poor. I really feel that i have stepped in hell nd like running from here. I got to know smthng more about teachers. They are very much business minded. They have got manual printed on their names and compell students to purchase them. Even professors give notes of each lecture to a photocopy shop and we r bound to purchase them everyday. These notes are not at all self sufficient. They themselves ask us to read books. They why to waste money on notes???? I also got to know that here some teachers are such those who don't know anything. They boast of being very experienced but they speak each and every word from their hand written notes. They can't speak a word with them. So plz think 10 times before stepping in this university. They don't refund security fee easily. You have to fill 2 forms and get them signed by respective teachers but they don't sign easily. They show so much of tantrums. It took me more than a week for it. They create a lot od drama about bank account and all. Just as to get my security refunded i needed to open a new account. They took it at once while admission that too in cash and now they are not ready to refund it. Plz don't get admitted in university. It is just a money minting machine nothing else....

Nice atmosphere, scattered in large area, different courses are offerd here, good facilities and well qualified teachers, also different clutural activities being carried out on time to time.
This is Asia biggest agriculture University. Everyone should go there at least once. The most amazing thing as every culture Mela every year must visit. I would like to recommend this place thanks.
People arrogant...dont know how to behave in sbi banks and at every gate..Govt. should train their employees how to behave too

PAU Ludhiana needs no introduction.Its academic excellence is world renowned.They are the pioneers of green revolution in India.Apart from its academics,the best feature about PAU is its greenery.Its a little city within the city of Ludhiana,with it's own markets,bank branches,petrol pumps & eatings joints etc.Its the greenest part of Ludhiana. You just enter PAU from any direction,the air quality dramatically changes for the much better.One breathes fresh n easy. I wish I had a home within PAU,so that I can enjoy it's pure air my whole life.
A good university for those who are interested in agriculture related studies. Good repuatation in india and abroad. It is the largest agriculture university of asia. However, some of courses that are offered here are not really good.

Visited this university last November. The whole atmosphere is awesome there. Love the unique design of the buildings especially the museum which you must see if you are going to this university.

This is a big agri uni in Ludhiana. Full of greenery and plants. A lot of people go for morning walk here. You can visit any tyime and you will find a lot of crowd specially in morning hours. The place is good. I like it very much and I visit it very often. The only thing you should keep in mind is that they do not allow you without a ID card sometimes so better take it along with you whenevr you go.
Really bad and worst university . After my graduation came over to overseas and those people were not ready to give my bachelors degree to my parents . And after so many arguments when they provided my degree then they made spelling mistakes for my name and my fathers name . I dnt understand these peoples . I had paid so much fees for biotechnology and at the end of the day these peoples cant even provide my degree with no mistakes . Really annoying
