Parkhotel Brenscino Review

Very nice hotel for 3 stars. Is also spoken German. Super restaurant integrated in the hotel. Path to the lake and restaurants on the promenade in 10 min. reachable.

The bed was very uncomfortable.
And the staff not very hospitable. Hotel area and view was very nice.

Good hotel with the best view in the area. There are many things for families such as the pool and the minigolf track. The restaurant is really good with nice pizzas for the kids.

Hotel in a great location with sensational terrace, good restaurant and friendly staff. The prices are rather high and an economy room has a really small bathroom. Next time we book a bigger room.

Unfortunately there is no cooling facility for drinks in the room and no drinks can be purchased outside the restaurant opening times.
No air conditioning, but a fan.

This hotel for me deserves another star, the welcome of the hotel super nice and smiling, the clean room with beautiful bedding, I loved the bed really comfortable, the room and well equipped with a beautiful terrace and have is quiet, so the view and superb, it also has a large pool with a bar to have a cold drink, there is also a lot of activity. breakfast and hearty that fresh produce, croissants are super bon.Je To thank all the staff who have been very professional and pleasant, I highly recommend this hotel, and I hope to see you next time.

A perfect place to visit the beautiful region around Brissago. For example the island of Brissago!

Fantastic view and beautiful hotel area as well as very friendly staff.

Great hotel, great staff and an excellent breakfast buffet! Can highly recommend the junior suite. Stylishly furnished, with incredible views! Parking is possible in the underground car park as well as in the parking lot in front of the hotel. The costs for this are almost CHF 12 per day. Tip: go straight into the covered garage.

One of the best places we ever was.
Service, Food, Beverage, Clean and save. and the View! from Room, from Terrasse, from everywehre. And a wonderful big natural park.

In bad weather you do not seem to like it on the terrace. Even after 15 minutes and with a maximum of 8 other guests in the whole restaurant we were honored no service - we went back on the way.

Hotel in a very nice location with very friendly staff, good food and rooms with a wonderful view of Lake Maggiore. The well-kept park with exotic plants invites you to linger.

Very nice environment, breathtaking view of the lake, but old building very noisy. we hear people walking on our heads, in the evening or in the early morning, it is not very pleasant when you are on vacation.

Great restaurant, I've been there a few days ago with some relatives, good meat and even good pizza, I didn't expect it, great to drink for both the cocktail part and the wines and beer. Courteous waiters, not intrusive and able to advise for the best.
As for the rooms, I have no idea as I was only a guest of the restaurant.

It is a really nice hotel. Fantastic views over the lake. Italy is so close.
The buffet meals and set menus are not to everyone's taste though.

At the Parkhotel in Brissago it was wonderful: the park a wonderful Bijou! That the hotel also provides tents: a great idea!
The view unique, the staff attentive and friendly, the rooms soothing high and big!

We have just stayed at this hotel. The hotel is okay, but very, very, very poorly insulated.

The negative points :
- Insulation (we hear as if it were in your room, the steeple of a church from 6 a.m. and then every 30/15 minutes ; on Saturday evening a wedding was organized in the hotel ... we had not been informed, we could hear the singer and people partying until 1am ...)

- Very basic bedding

- the cleaning which leaves something to be desired we had several hairs in our room on arrival (including the hair dryer)

-the dilapidation of certain facilities (swimming pool, the small swimming pool not secure for children ...)

And, the positive points:
The view of the lake is splendid
The breakfast is very good
Location and parking (paid)

In summary we will not return to this hotel and we do not recommend it.
But we recommend Lake Maggiore, it's incredibly beautiful .

Even though the selection of food is rather small, the dishes are carefully prepared and the high quality food is just delicious. Enjoy your meal on the terrace if the weather is not too bad. It is also recommended to go for a walk through the well maintained house park, in which you can also play some miniature golf.

A hotel where you feel completely comfortable. Very nice park garden and very friendly staff and a wonderful view.

The quality of the beds are not up to standard of a 4 star hotel, we had 2 small individual beds joined together despite the fact that we had requested with 4 months in advance, a king-size double bed.
We did our booking in English, and we live in Geneva. The reply was sent to us in German nonetheless (no attention to detail) which we did not understand, advising that the hotel does not have king-size beds. Had the email been sent in either French or English, we would have chosen another hotel. We slept uncomfortably during 3 nights. In addition, the quality of the curtains in our room was really cheap and they allowed too much light in, so we woke up early everyday. Good hotels have thick curtains (2 layers: one to block the light on the window side, and another layer to look nice, on the side of the room).

In general it is a very nice hotel. The staff is very friendly.
The view and the terrace are wonderful.
However, the rooms do not have air conditioning just a fan. It gets relatively hot in the rooms.
The pool is a verry Kinderpardies, entrspannung looks anderst and with the swimming is difficult. On the upper deck of the pool are also beach chairs, as it is a bit quieter.
Otherwise it was a nice stay at Brenscino.

We felt very comfortable. Very friendly welcome and service. Everything was very clean and well-kept everywhere. Modern, cozy and comfortable furnishings. Pool area in the garden and garden restaurant with a fantastic view over Lake Maggiore towards Ascona with Isola Brissago and towards Italy to Cannobio, Luino and further.
A rich breakfast buffet invites you to start the day with pleasure. Everyone will find something delicious on the menu. It's also nice that traditional Ticino cuisine is deliciously implemented.

Hotel is well located (view). Rooms are noisy (we hear noise comming from the next room), The rate are too hight for a 3 star hotel with no air conditionning. We payed 550 CHF for 2 nights on was free on our package. The biggest issues is the shuttle service for customer coming by train/bus.

Nice view. Nice park, nice terrace, nice breakfasts, small clean pool. Regarding the hotel. No air conditioning we choke all night, no mini bar, (on request, we bring you a micro bar camping), paid parking, old-fashioned bathroom, rough sheets, tiny pillows. Dear for comfort.

Very pleasant stay with our two young children in this very beautiful hotel located in a peaceful place and enjoying a splendid view of the lake! Room very comfortable and spacious for our family with the nice balcony bonus. Staff very friendly, smiling and pleasant with our little ones. Excellent breakfast and very good restaurant. A very good address that we keep and recommend!

Excellent hotel located in a beautiful corner of Ticino. Splendid view of the lake and the islands of Briassago. Fantastic terrace where you can enjoy good food or a great pizza. Rooms for all tastes, from suites to the cheapest. The hotel also has a beautiful outdoor pool and a conference room. Pleasantly satisfied I recommend it

Wonderful, romantic and super child-friendly place.
Swimming pool overlooking the lake, mini-golf, chess field, very nice playground. Very clean, great breakfast, good dinner. Very kind staff, especially the brunette receptionist.

Beautiful hotel, very good view from the rooms on Lake Maggiore. The restaurant has very good food at good prices. The terrace of the restaurant is generous and the service very friendly. They speak Italian as well as German. The belonging to the hotel botanical gardens is very large and is lovingly maintained. The entrance area is modern, has seating and the ladies at the front desk are always friendly. In addition to a large pool overlooking the lake, the hotel also has a miniature golf course, some of which are integrated into the botanical garden. Similarly, a parking garage is available.

We went there with family and friends and we had the best experience over there the service was so good and the food were excellent we stayed at there for 2 nights and we hoped to etay over for years and there was sso much activities.

Very nicely located hotel with huge terrace for breakfast or other food. Great view of the lake. Very friendly staff, nice outdoor pool. Modern rooms, the smaller (economy) very cheap, but also with lake view. Large parking garage available. Food a la carte very good. Everything was there, pizza, pasta, risotto, meat, salad, etc. Short way to Brissago. Highly recommended.

Great hotel. Breathtaking view. Great staff. Succulent restaurant. Possibility of half board. Great for family pool, playground, mini golf. Clean and spacious family room. The only downside is the lack of air conditioning which in the middle of August. ... is a bit disturbing. But that is offset by all the rest. We will come back to that for sure.

Except for the beds and the bathroom, everything fits here! A beautiful, perfectly manicured garden with a breathtaking view, in the middle a large pool with plenty of loungers, a mini golf course and hammocks.
Evening in the restaurant? Right in the hotel! The risotto is recommended, but the hot stone is also awesome! Very good service. And this view over and over again! Also recommended with children.

The location is ok. Unfortunately not directly on the lake. But with excellent views. In the whole hotel are very very many old people and for example. At the breakfast buffet you feel like in a nursing home. The beds are terribly uncomfortable and separate, so no double beds. The room was clean. The food is good, but very expensive.

Great location with a great terrace. Large rooms, great breakfast, nice menu and wine list. The simple retro style decor goes well with the house and you have everything you need. Only the beds / mattresses should be brought to the usual comfort level today

We enjoyed our stay at Parkhotel Brenscinco Brissago. The staff was attentive to our questions and were able to speak several languages. The food was delicious and the rooms were spotless. We had an excellent view of the lake from our balcony. We would stay here again if we travel to this area.

Wonderfully located family hotel in a place of peace and greenery - pool, mini golf, various lounges, a large park - it could not be better. We'll be back!

A must go! the hotel is beautiful. amenities on the grounds are kept up to date and modern. Rooms are spacious and the views are second to none of lake maggiore. There are stairs that lead down to the town of Brissago that are conveniently located from the hotel to the port. A less than 10 minute walk and you're in the middle of town. Will come again and highly recommend to any of my friends when visiting Switzerland!

A magnificent view and plunging on the lake, the pool area will allow you to relax and enjoy the panorama from your deck chair. Splendid Zen garden to visit. And for the kids the place is really ideal as the hotel offers many activities. Ha yes, the terrace is also very nice. Friendly and welcoming staff. A hotel that I highly recommend.

Family France

We (married couple) were guests at the Brencino from September 28th to October 1st, 2020. The location of the hotel is super nice, room no. 308 was small but had a very nice balcony, great view. The hotel's park is very nice.
The room prices are very high, for such a small room, first night Fr. 360.- / second and third night each Fr. 320.-. breakfast included.
In the dining room there are chairs and tables from Coop Livique Ev. Model Boris, a person taller than 180 cm, always hits the table legs with his knees, very uncomfortable.
The hotel is very difficult to reach by public transport, from the Brissago Posta stop, two footpaths with over 300 steps, or the long way along the street.

Location of the hotel with wonderful views. Friendly reception, simple and very clean rooms, excellent food. Pool and park around the super facility.
We will return to the Hotel Brenscino for sure.

Very nice view of the lake and the islands of Brissago. Very fine pizzas and pleasant restaurant. By the way, the Reka holiday village is safe for the heart because they have now a new defibrillator for several weeks.

Very nice hotel. Certain things were in the room unfortunately broken, but these were not a big problem. The decor of the entire hotel is very nice. There is a terrace for breakfast and dinner, a cinema room with daily changing film and Wi-Fi which works well. Also good location for a spurt to Italy. I can only recommend.
