This hotel has one of the most breathtaking views I have ever seen. I highly recommend a lake view room for the extra $ worth every penny. We were staying on a busy holiday weekend and didn t know the place would be so crowded but the staff made everything work and was fantastic. My personal props to the restaurant manager, I was stunned at the level of service and care provided by not only him but his staff as well. He handcrafted a cocktail for us that the bartender didn t know how to make and got us a table with a wonderful view during one of the busiest Saturday nights of the year because we weren t informed hotel guests should make reservations here by the front desk. He is the sole reason for my 5 star review. The food is spectacular especially the filets, pasta, and the pizza. The rooms don t have air conditioning so if you re staying in the hot months beware but there are fans in the room. No mini fridge in our room which was kind of a downer and the front desk staff could ve been a little more informative of the property and facilities when we checked in. Typical European double beds put together with individual covers not the best if you like a nice big comfy bed for you and your spouse. But even with all of this said we had a wonderful stay here and the view is the highlight for sure. Would highly recommend a stay here!

We had a family stay (2 adults and 3 children) in this hotel in the "Family Suite" room in all respects identical to what is described on the website. There is no air conditioning but fans available if needed.
This hotel is located in an area surrounded by a park filled with various specimen of plants and flowers from all over the world. On the heights of Brissago, one is very quickly at the edge of the lake on foot.
We took advantage of the activities on offer such as mini-golf and the swimming pool (a bit cool). There are several shaded places even if the umbrellas are already all occupied.
The breakfast is very full of fruits, cereals, breads (including gluten-free), sweet and savory and the children enjoyed themselves. For evening meals, the menu offers several choices (meat, risotto, pasta) with a salad buffet and a children's menu.
We have fond memories of this welcoming hotel as well as mosquito bites ...

Nice rooms with great views!

Nice rooms with great views!

We had the small room and enough space and great furniture! The bathroom is a bit antiquarian compared to the beautiful modern room! Breakfast was great!

The hotel is in a great, slightly elevated location. All rooms have a view of the lake and from the restaurant, lounge and pool area you can enjoy a very nice view of Lake Maggiore.

room
Our "Large Classic Double Room" was very spacious, large and clean. From the balcony we had a wonderful panoramic view. The room is a bit older and comparatively expensive.

staff
Everyone is very friendly, speaks several languages and tries very hard to be there for the guest. The team is small, which in Covid-19 times means longer waiting times here and there. But that's not a problem, the charm predominates.

Infrastructure
The garden is beautiful and you can discover many shrubs and fruit trees.
The pool is on the small side, but there are several spacious places to lie down.
The website suggests something modern. Overall, the hotel complex is rather "older" and has been partially modernized. So if you are looking for modernity, you better book a room in the Modern category.

eat
The food in the restaurant was delicious. The risotti in particular were extremely tasty. The breakfast was also varied and sufficient.

COVID-19
On our tour of Ticino, this hotel was most consistent in terms of the recommended COVID-19 measures. But in a very, very pleasant way. We never had the feeling of being restricted or of having to do without anything. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Highly recommended address, well located for various excursion options (ascona, locarno, valle maggia, valle verzasca etc.)
Well-kept ambience with a great panorama, intimate and quiet, beautiful, well-equipped rooms with hanging hangers, lots of space in the closet, storage space = great. only: fan available, no air conditioning. The staff is very friendly from the reception to the kitchen and cleaning! Would book it again!

the location of the hotel is just beautiful and the setting is idyllic. The staff is very welcoming and very friendly. The rooms are clean and the pool area is just beautiful.
Only downside, if you take the half-board you will have to eat in the room because we do not serve you on the beautiful terrace that is reserved for the restaurant of the hotel. The 3 course menus are good but without soul and without great flavor.
