Visited the exhibition of Christian Dior. It was exciting to see the works of couture who have left their mark. Recommended buy tickets online and get the morning half an hour before opening.

A museum in which there are always quality and very varied exhibitions. One of my favorites for a long time.
Japan and Japan, the exhibition is very rich. The scenography is in sync with the quality of the objects presented. Do not miss. ..
Always a highlight, whether the Madeleine Vionnet exhibition or "70 years DIOR". It is always fantastic, the presentation / staging a dream.
A very heterogeneous exhibition, we must rethink museography ... Too bad
London Victoria and Albert The one you liked is here, and the Tuileries gardens and the Paris that look out the window are so beautiful. There are a lot of places to look at than a few people.
impossible to approach: 7 hours of queue last Saturday .... bad luck!
I don t really like arts, so those things other than shoes are quite boring for me...
And only the shoes museum have the English translation.
Others are in French.
Adjacent to the Louvre, it is in the corner of the same Louvre. Positionally, from the golden horse statue of Jeanne d'Arc. Furniture, furniture and accessories from the 16th century France Renaissance era to the present age are displayed. Must see who is working on the design. The jewelry department is also substantial. Currently, a special exhibition on Japanese culture is being held.
High quality permanent fund and the temporary xpo on Gio Ponti inspiring!
The art deco department is worth seeing, but especially the modern design can also be seen! Really a fantastic collection and very recognizable. Top!
Not bad. Beautiful rooms and interesting scenes. We regret that some floors are closed and that this is not mentioned when booking tickets on the internet.
Superb exhibition of the architect designer Gio Ponti
Museum regularly hosting innovative exhibitions. Programming to follow regularly.
Always great exhibitions. Too crowded though. They should work on that. Very nice souvenir shop.
Museum ... Special ... I was not sensitive to what was shown. Apart from the jewelry gallery. This one is superb!
Beautiful exhibitions, sometimes too short, free for minors
Part of the security personnel at the limit of politeness!
The.next time c is promised ladies and gentlemen of the.security I take.the measurements of my bag with a caliper ...
Some.rooms crowded with visitors and have absolutely nothing to envy of a hammam
This is my first (and last) experience in this museum.
Great museum and alternative to the Louvre, especially for design, decorative arts, and furniture.
Top but fast. A beautiful museum in a magical place.
Nice and free D'Days exhibition. Some explanations are missing on some works. The place is spacious and pleasant. Right in the center of Paris.
Magnificent "Dior" exhibition but crowded Sunday poorly managed: too much waiting, cramped and overheated rooms. Reasonable entry price. Museum restaurant with excessively expensive and very ordinary dishes fortunately the setting is charming.
very interesting to dive back into the interior and the object from the Middle Ages to the present day
finally, until 1940 since the upper floors of the 4th and their collections are apparently closed until the fall of 2018
A superb Dior exhibition of dresses from designs from the history of luxury and very classy style ... a little flat it is very hot in the first room
Visited during the exhibition Christian Dior, I did not know this museum. I loved this expo. And a big thank you to the staff who allowed me not to wait for 7 hours outside with my daughter by getting me in priority
Rich and very documented, playful presentation. We want more.
I went to see the Christian Dior exhibition. The reception at the museum was pleasant, the waiting time reasonable, and the places splendid despite the large crowd during the visit.
Most of museum is off limits closed. Only 2 sections available. They should have closed the museum during these Renovations rather than charging for such a same view
MY favorite museum. The permanent collections are fantastic. The sumptuous place. And temporary exhibitions always very interesting. I regularly visit the place. A real pleasure !!!
I love this place. Unfortunately I couldn't get a place for the Dior expo
Lovely experience. The focus is on home decorations through out French history. So much to see: modern and ancient. Staff was very friendly. A good number of them spoke English, which was great.
This museum is part of the Louvre building. The permanent tour starts on the third floor and goes up to the ninth floor. The views from the upper floor are spectacular. The second floor houses the temporary exhibit, which was a jewelry collection.
Very good exhibition ideas. The one devoted to Christian Dior was exceptional (scenography, educational journey, exhibits ...). Please note the queues are very long, a sign of the success of this museum. It also contains a superb gallery of jewelry. I do not get enough. I go there every time there is a new exhibition.
Some amazing parts to this museum. Unfortunately many parts were uninspiring. With most descriptions in French it was also hard to make sense of what we were seeing. The temporary exhibition of Ponti was excellent.
The museum has many acquisitions (works of art, furniture, utensils, etc.) from the Middle Ages to the 21st century. I advise you to take the audioguide because it is very useful for the visit and allows us to delve deeper into history.
The curator of this museum should be in prison. Awful organisation, dramatic history jumps and incomplete. It makes impossible to understand the evolution of design. The exhibit is missing the 20th Century, kind of crucial in a design museum.
The exhibitions are always very beautiful and the scenographies remarkable. Access and the staff is very good.
The crowd could have been better regulated, we were too many in the rooms and it was a heat to be on the edge of discomfort
MAGNIFICENT Dior exhibition!
the friendly guide visibly part of the Dior house
Humor, anecdotes, specialist in materials, colorist a real treat.
Thank you for sharing your passion.
Best museum , I like the store here... found some good books related to fashion
Opportunity to try some design furniture on the top floor with stunning views of Paris
Ecpo Dior a lot of waiting but it's worth the detour even if the expo is crowded
Maybe after the holidays it will be easier to visit
Not easy to see everything
Coming late at night on Thursday evening, there were a lot of people. Please note, only certain temporary exhibitions are accessible at night and the permanent exhibition is not accessible.
above all, take your time as there are so many beautiful things to see!
Design, scultpure, and other types of art - "toys", "ads"... a great complete museum with an unusual programmation.
The place is crazy, the shop is really nice and exhibits are originals.
Very nice museum sometimes forgotten because of its neighbor The Louvre ... it is worth the trip and the upper floors offer breathtaking views of Paris monuments and the beautiful garden of the Tuilleries
We pay for a visit and we get thrown of each exposure for 18h to closing while the visit was to last until 19h
Very, very nice museum, visited during Tallon and Barbie exhibitions. The permanent exhibition is very rich. The path is not easy at first (old building requires), but the markup is clear, and one who is smart enough not to be afraid to pass for a big tourist can bring a very clear plan. To do absolutely. The entry price of 11 euros is fully justified.
The Shoe exhibit was amazing. We Delaware visitors were thrilled to see the ILC Dover boot from the 1st moon walk!
The museum open on Tuesday
Temporary and permanent exhibitions
Lots of things to see on objects and furniture
Do not miss
Recommend the exhibition on the history of the shoe
Museum large enough with plenty of space for temporary exhibitions. But the exhibitions are little renewed, distrust
It didn t matter anymore except the chaissures gallery
Exhibition dedicated to Dior. Very well displayed. You can spend at least 1h30 to see everything.
