Expo Dior very very pretty it saves the honor of our attendees, total misunderstanding at the checkout when the checkout host was very rude and accused us for free of not having waited 3:30 in the cold and of having cut the line I find it unacceptable knowing the truth.

With a friend for the Expo Christian Dior, my God, it was the best place for this expo. The museum is large, very compartmentalized, we would lose almost ahaha.
The beautiful period buildings, an excellent architecture of yesteryear as we do more!
A place of reverie and escape.
We just loved it!

Very nice collection but:

Very nice collection but:
- The attitude of museum guards to urge us to leave at 5.30 p.m. "we have to be quick" even though tickets at 5 p.m. are sold 14 each is a shame. At 5.40 p.m. the security guards rush to the exit and you make it clear that we must follow their footsteps;
- The floors above 5 are closed for "understaffing" although we had come for them ... Of course no mention on their website and at the entrance;
- Very bad indication on access to the various galleries. It is frankly difficult to find your way around this labyrinth. Their "traffic legend" is a big joke. The information on the collections presented is minimalist.

Very disappointed by the Dior expo a crazy world not regulated by the entrances very complicated when you are disabled in a wheelchair. The rooms are very small so we are crammed together and reading the documents is a real obstacle course because everyone is trying to pass in front of you, move the chair without rolling over people ... hear derogatory remarks because we knock legs unfortunately trying to see something ... incredible heat ... too bad. Because the organizers had to expect a large audience.
Also disappointed because many models not seen because on the stairs and in the chair we take the elevator ....
And too many signature copies that prevent you from seeing the details, the drapes, the embroidery.
If we compare to the Yves Saint Laurent exhibition that there was at the Petit Palais a few years ago, it is not worth the trip

Museum for furniture lovers, goldsmith, bronze and ceramics. The course is very well drawn with a very educational chronological order.
The museography is clear. Small part about the Renaissance and large collection eighteenth and nineteenth ending in Art Nouveau. The Art Deco department offers interior reconstructions.
Only downside the current work on the last part of the museum

A large museum on several levels that is in the same architectural ensemble as the Louvre. I went there for the temporary exhibition "Japonismes". The entrance ticket allowed to see the temporary exhibition and the permanent collection.

There are a lot of colorful and beautiful decoration and design interiors
I was looking forward to the clothing exhibition, but the clothing exhibition was over.
There's no photo clothes in Maine.
Please note that it is over ~
And shoes related since the 1700's have been exhibiting Paris shoes and other country shoes.
After looking here, I knew why Paris was famous for fashion.
Besides that, it was nice because there are many beautiful furniture interiors and many things to see ~

I go there often and I love it. There, I leave the exhibition on the shoe. A treat for a fan like me who has more than 100 pairs. The entry ticket is expensive, 14 and could be changed if you only see one thing. The library is dense and very interesting.

I took my 5 1/2 year old daughter to see the Barbie expo ... it was fabulous and for 2 hours we were really feasted! But what a warmth in this beautiful museum ... a little air conditioning would have made our visit much more pleasant and comfortable ...

His slogan: the museum is crazy about exhibits)

His slogan: the museum is crazy about exhibits)
Isn't that creative ?!)
And these are his inscriptions near some especially valuable objects of the exposition:
"Admire without touching"
Well, where else have you seen this?
After all, we always have: "do not touch the exhibits with your hands!"
And here - "admire ...".
And we were delighted to the fullest!
This museum was an opening in our weekly Paris tourist program.
The beauty is the beauty!
How many outlandish gizmos in one place! What grace and luxury! How much taste and skill!
There was no end to our admiration.
MAD (Museum of Art Decoratif) should be included in the list of obligatory visits for any tourist who is more or less interested in style, fashion, and interior: household items, furniture, dishes, toys.
Especially, the ladies will be delighted with the museum and will remain impressed by what they see for a long time to come.
French chic and charm in their most classical sense are presented here in full.
The art of living in French and the art of French artisans to create genuine masterpieces.
You climb all its 9 floors, making a journey through time - from the Middle Ages to the present day, experiencing a feeling of enthusiasm for the passion of its collectors and the generosity of the donors. About ten thousand exhibits are presented at ten thousand meters.
Must see
Jewelry gallery
Throne of Napoleon
Bed Valtess de La Binh
Cabinet of fairy tales
Private apartment Jeanne Lanvin

My hottest recommendations
Ah, one more thing, I almost forgot!
There is a restaurant "Lulu" at the museum - this is also something. It is advisable to book a table in advance of your visit to the museum, otherwise you risk not getting into these two wonderful places on the same day

Though it is right next to the Louvre, this museum is wholly separate from it and houses all things devoted to decorative arts. Watch for the temporary exhibits which can be quite glamorous featuring top designer names from past and present.

It's a beautiful building located in a central area. Unfortunately I was dragged along to see the Dior exhibit and had to wait in a huge line to get in. If if been there to see something worthwhile I would give it a 5.
