Christian Dior's exhibition is truly suggestive .... very well cared for considering the "importance" of the rooms. However, the turnout of the public is out of proportion to the spaces and there is no air conditioning ... too bad, it would have been perfect

Dior exhibition: many beautiful dresses but a very questionable staging due to a surprising choice of lighting! Plus black clothes on black mannequin all almost without light: you must have a good view! Be careful not to be claustrophobic for certain rooms ...

This review is only for the Dior exhibit. It was an endless parade of stunning pieces, but the exhibit was overcrowded, poorly ventilated, and poorly curated in some sections.

The second half of the exhibit was very well organized by theme and creative director, but the first half was a bit of a mess. The curation in the Colorama room was nonsensical: just a hodgepodge of items thrown into order by color (?!?!?!?) and I was unable to see what was what, especially with the crowds.

Boyfriend was able to score special untimed tickets through American Express concierge, so we were able to skip the lines, but had we only had regular tickets, we would have had to wait upwards of two hours in the rain outside to get in. And had we not had advance tickets, we would not have gotten in at all.

Exposure: Cr.Dior: no space, lighting is poor, many old photos very beautiful but explanations are illegible, the objects are pressed against each other and the height: absence of audio guide. Pity ! !!!

Ultra original products but if you have to remember one thing, it's their little bookstore very interesting! Their selection of books on design makes me want to bring back a lounge chair and read up to become blind!

I've been to Paris 12 times, but I didn't know there was a museum exhibiting these nice and colorful decorations.
The necklace bracelet in the gorgeous history was good, too
Christian Dior's work is still gorgeous and wonderful, and the history of modern fashion

The Christian Dior exhibition is magnificent and a magical setting at the end. Too bad the organization leaves something to be desired, too many people and we queued 5 hours !!!! Don't go without your ticket.

Fun place in the prestigious Louvre museum, rue de Rivoli.
To discover during the night of the museums, on four floors, from the rich medieval past to the beginning of the 20th century you will discover the riches of the usual objects magnified by known or unknown artists.
Very well documented via digital, all the objects will be explained to you in detail.

And for the ladies ...
I invite you to visit the "jewelry" part of the museum where the creations of the famous jeweler Arpels and Van Cleef have a special place.

You go a-do-rees!

I recommand it.

Sublime exhibition .. the second part is wonderful ... the first part is on top of each other. Sauna. Too dark .. In short, less money for the staging and a little for the air conditioning and please regulate the flow ... we almost left after 15 minutes !!!

Very nice exhibition, BUT ... because there is a but. Many people, we trample while waiting for people to move to access the windows. Some dark rooms with very small photos. We suffocate in some rooms. Ringtones that go off non-stop. How do people in wheelchairs with all this crowd ?!
Which brings me to an average opinion when the rooms of the Grande Maison are sublime. Red card for the organizers.

A special museum featuring decorative arts you cannot find on display in other museums. The shop is also worth a visit, especially if you are looking to buy a gift for someone who appreciates great design. Be careful not to miss the jewelry exhibits "hidden" on the second floor above the gift shop.

Japan Japanism exhibition. A wide variety of objects presented, but their identification is difficult with the photocopies and no explanation is given as to their use. We come out without more knowledge than entering. Too bad that the selection work was not more rigorous and cartels more present.

Admittedly the place is beautiful, but concerning the Dior exhibition (whose raw material is absolutely sublime), the rooms are not air conditioned, it was untenable last night with the very many visitors. It was dark, you couldn't see the black dresses on a black background. And the height of disorganization, knowing that it takes a good 2 hours to see everything, the boxes close on Thursday at 8:15 p.m., and visitors literally throw themselves out at 8:45 p.m. A pure scandal!

Dior exhibition: very beautiful exhibitions and rather good organization despite the world.
Crowded interior and the first rooms were almost inaccessible. The objects were sometimes concentrated on a wall where everyone gathered while the wall behind us was empty and we could have started the exhibition better ...
But thank you it was very good, the last piece is spectacular!

Exhibition Walk and gait. A history of the shoe. It was a long time since I wanted to walk with foals and it's done in the fitting room area, located at the end of the show. An exhibition that ends in bursts of laughter. Fun experience.

Very nice museum with great individual pieces from art, arts and crafts and decorative use. Great views of the Tuileries and Paris. The directions could be a bit better organized, we were partly looking for the connection of the course, as the museum on several floors and buildings spread.

The museum is not very interesting. The best rooms are set in different historical periods. The part of the toys is closed.
This summer he has a temporary exhibit on Christian Dior. In theory, with the Museum Pass we brought, you can't get in, but the guards at the entrance are pretty clueless and sneak in. We found a horrible place: without air conditioning, it was a sauna with hundreds of people (queuing up to pay the high ticket price) pausing to see the costumes on display. We got out of it as fast as we entered.

I loved this museum including a retrospective on pubs from 1950 to our days very informative on the evolution of society very moving also pubs of my childhood. It takes several days to see everything. Sublime architecture and unobstructed view to the defense with the wheel rue de Rivoli in foreground.

An incredible collection however most items are labeled only in French! Even the extra placards located in each room were often only in French. Quite pointless if you wish to be an international museum.

Inside the museum of decorative arts, until 22 March 2020, you can see a beautiful exhibition dedicated to footwear. It was not my intention to visit it but, intrigued, I went to the first room and ... and was never so happy. Truly amazing. A journey through footwear starting from the Egyptian period, passing from a Charlie Chaplin shoe and Cinderella's shoes, to the present day. Many shoes are real works of art even if, some of these, truly unwatchable and importable. A beautiful idea.

Very nice museum specializing in Decorative Arts. It takes at least 2 good hours to visit the permanent exhibitions. As for the temporary exhibitions, I really liked those on Christian Dior and artists' jewelry, less the one on Margiela (but it's a matter of taste ...). I recommend and will come back. Next time I will try the little restaurant tucked away inside, which must be very quiet. Be careful, there is sometimes a lot of crowds for certain exhibitions.

Super interesting museum with various exhibitions. They had different branches of science like chemistry, physics, astronomy and maths. I enjoyed seeing the famous physics laws in application as well as some interesting chemical reactions. They also had interesting side for the space and nasa work, was very detailed in providing information about solar system and other stuff in space.
