We visited just to grab lunch at Kin Khao, inside the hotel, which, surprisingly for a hotel restaurant, has excellent Thai food. It's a nice spot to eat before catching a weekend matinee at either of the two nearby theatres.
I really like this hotel. This hotel is in a very good location, SOMA. Everything is very convenient. Near to shopping malls, the train... etc. The rooms of this hotel are clean and neat.
Really enjoyed our stay Central with great views into San Francisco
Rooms are as other reviewers have noted dated - this shows in the carpet, the curtains that were stiff and dirty, the bed linen. The bathroom was nice with good shower pressure. The business centre in the FedEx rooms requires you to pay to use the computer and print which given the price per night of the hotel felt a little cheeky. There are however 2 computers you can use freely by the front desk.
ATM skimmer alert Parc 55 San Francisco. We stayed at Parc 55 on March 31-April 8, 2018. We made a withdrawal from the ATM on the 2nd floor by the restaurant. The last couple of days our accounts have been depleted of funds and found that our debit cards were skimmed. Looking back through our accounts we found a common withdrawal at Parc 55 on April 3. I ask that everyone who withdrew money from this ATM to monitor your accounts daily. It started with an account balance inquiry and then repeated withdrawals over the course of 3 days.
It is located in a central place very close to the BART. There are many shops nearby for shopping.
Over priced for traffic jams and some of the bell man are rude
good. Location Best. The room is more comfortable than the Hilton opposite the 5 adults. The view is good, and the sunlight feels good. The reception and lobby atmosphere should not be expected. There seems to be no star because of the facilities.
Hotel is so so. Not impressed. Service at the cable 55 restaurant is terrible. They don't know what the word service means. Rooms are old and the rug on the hotel seems to be from the 90s. It just feels sticky and nasty. The only good thing is the location but for the price you pay there are better options around.
Rooms were clean. Great location to stay in San Francisco.
Wifi connection is annoying as an Honors member if you don't remember your your username.
Staff was attentive. Rooms seemed clean and were very comfortable. Decent views. Convenient to Bart and Market Street. Parking was very pricey.
We arrived a little before normal check in but were accommodated. I was able to upgrade for an additional charge to a higher floor larger room. The check in staff was friendly as have been the rest of the team. Concierge is also helpful and knowledgeable. We will be back again.
Location is awesome room are big and clean staff was nice but the water in the room is 6 dollar lol
Nice hotel. Looks like lobby areas have been renovated. Rooms could use a renovation but overall a great spot for a weekend visit.
Very nice and and the staff was very helpful. The security made me fill safe I would highly recommend this property. Thank you
Great venue for a conference. The rooms were well set up and the facilities were great.
This is one of the my favorite hotels in San Francisco. The lounge is very nice with nice views and the staff is ver friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious with a couch and desk. The location is also excellent - right in Union Square with easy access to the subway and street level trolleys.
Marriott is better compared to Parc 55. Internet TV is not available in the room.
Got a pretty good deal on this place, so decided to try it out for the weekend. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the hotel. It is on the edge of a not-so-nice area (exercise caution when walking to the West at night), but everything else is alright. Also, it is within (safe) walking distance to excellent shopping, Union Square, several museums, and even China Town if you're up for some exercise. Any if you're lazy and don't want to go out, yet still want to find something good, they have a Michelin-starred restaurant inside the hotel!
Common area is very nice. Our room didn't match the look of the lobby, etc. Room seemed old, out dated, and smelled.
They had a holier than thou attitude and would not even offer their restrooms for visitors.
Hotel with many beggars in the immediate vicinity. Breakfast very expensive $ 39 per person. And do not recommend going by car, the daily cost 67 dollars plus taxes.
Nice hotel but you have to pay for wi-fi and even then you can only connect 3 devices. The two of us had 5 devices between us.
Excellent amenities, tasteful decor, good service. As expected from a Hilton hotel
Great hotel but parking is overpriced. $ 154 for 2 nights ...
Great location and nice hotel. We had a problem with our TV, I wasn t too worried about it but we informed the staff and someone was there for fix it (fixing ended up meaning bringing a whole new TV to swap ours out with) immediately.
Great location for visiting San Francisco. Clean room, friendly staff. Appreciate the text concierge service.
Best Hotel in San Francisco. Excellent housekeeping and room service
The location is in downtown San Francisco and it's easy to go there if you have a car. The rooms are comfortable and the sercice is good.
Recently renovated. Good front desk check in. Linen nice.
Great experience! Friendly staff, great location, comftable bed soft towels and good water pressure.
The location is really great, right on market Street. Rooms are small though, and there is no free buffet as well. Valet parking is expensive as well.
I was at the hotel to dine with a friend at Kin Khao. I love that restaurant. It's a super unique Thai food and a great mix of food and ambiance.
Probably worst thing about it is that you need to pay for Wifi.
In the heart of down town San Francisco, modern hotel with a friendly staff from the doorman to the desk
Great experience at Parc 55. The hotel was conveniently located to shopping and the Moscone Center. The room was clean and the employees were very kind and helpful.
The guys who are working on luggage are not welling to help.
Homeless are everywhere around the hotel and you I feel non comfortable in that location.
Parking is very expensive.
You are not gonna get the service that you expect meeting their high rates.
Good rooms, didn't use the service. Very convenient location to downtown
I got a small room..nothing fancy...parking in $67 plus tax per day....many drunk people at night around the area
Great place! Be aware of parking costs before booking!
Hotel at the top, a room as beautiful as the view of the city.
Parc 55 use be a REALLY nice place. Ever since Hilton took over it's a dump! Rooms are dirty, bathroom is filthy, check in service is horrible, I had reservations for a king bed and they try to tell me they don't have any rooms with king bed... until my foul language came out and all of the sudden they had a room available with king bed. My wife and I been coming here for the last 12 years and we use to love this place but, NOT NO MORE! This will be the last time we will stay here!! There's lot of nice hotels within 100 yards. Do yourself a favor and don't book parc 55!! Unless your getting it for $49.99 and that's iffy too!
Great gym! Expensive restaurant onsite. Front desk service was okay. Overall, not dissatisfied.
Clean rooms, great customer service - we checked in around 8pm, but our room still wasn't available. Because of that, we got two free drinks at the lounge. Not the best situation, but they tried to make up for it. Great view of the city - one downfall is that even though they have 7 elevators - THEY TAKE FOREVER TO GET TO ANY FLOOR!!
They try to charge for WiFi, in 2019! What about billing for other commodities? Like electricity???
Hotel was over priced for just a general stay. They scream a stellar gym but have no pool or hot tub. Not close to any tourist attractions, but I guess that's the point of the I location.
Stayed for one night due to a conference at Moscone Center. Checkin was smooth and no issues. The room I got was on the 10th floor. Got to the room and there was some kind of ozone machine running that was very loud. Had to shut it off myself. Besides that the room and bathroom were clean. The room location was close to elevator. The hotel is in a central location, near the Powell street bart station. I think one of the street cars last stop is near the hotel.
Didn't spend much time here during my stay but it was nice hotel. Crazy expensive but good.
The stay at Parc55 was a dream from before we even started to the very end. I was traveling with friends and a herd of small children so I checked in via the Hilton Honors app to pick rooms next to each other before we even arrived. The Concierge had reached out via text message to check if we needed anything before we arrived (Thanks Nizzy and Gwendolyn!), and I verified with them that even if they had to shift rooms around to deal with people extending stays they would keep both of our rooms on the same floor.
We get into the city, drop the car off at valet, drop the bags at the bell desk, and then proceed to have an amazing day playing tourist in the city. We get back to the hotel about 5pm to check in and that is when we met Drew! Drew managed to work his magic. Not only had it gotten us rooms on the same floor, we had connecting rooms. Which was amazing for the little girls who wanted to watch cartoons in a pile while the grownups talked - and we could still separate them for bedtime!
The resort credit for being Hilton Honors gold was used for dinner at Cable55, which was lovely. The breakfast buffet the next morning was even better! Not only did it meet the needs of three adults with different diets, it also was devoured by the kids. Valet has a wonderful feature where you can text for your car and they will text back when its ready, saving you time in check out!
Nice hotel and good location. Did not like the breakfast system where half of the buffet is not included and not clearly indicated.
Located in the center of the city, it has good access to supermarkets and department stores. A few minutes walk to the subway. The room is also properly kept clean.
The junior suite was very nice, and the service was decent. Great location.
A good hotel in a good location to get to Moscone. The rooms are a little dated at this point but the restaurant in the hotel is excellent. Depending on your room location, there are some excellent views of the city.
They didn't tell we had to pay 60 bucks for parking and we reserved our room over the phone and they transferred us to someone else and it turned into a sales call and they wouldn't let us know if we got the room. After 20 minutes we just hung up and called again to confirm. Once we got there and found out about parking we just left, you pay for a nice room and then they charge you for parking insane.
Great home away from home right in the middle of Union Square shopping and public transportation.
