Went there. Promised that if we waited 20 minutes and we would get a table. Waited out the front for 20 mins. Spoke with them a couple of times to say we were waiting. Then told we weren't waiting in the right spot and they had no room for our two kids anyway.
It was very nice there. The service was also very nice
The base of the pancake is extremely greasy and tasteless, even with regards to poor quality condiments (bananas, chocolate). I am very disappointed

simply horrible. travelled for half an hour just to get here, but had to wait for the waitress to sit us for almost an hour. and the place wasn't even that packed. the service was horrible, horrible, horrible. the waitress just simply rude. thought the food will be great but it wasn't so. you'll get better pancakes elsewhere for better price. please avoid this place. huge dissappointment.
We thought it is nice idea to pop and have a quick bite, but instead of that it was nightmare. The greeting person was more to make u run away we were waiting way too long to even be served and then another 40mins to actually get pancakes. If u have 2hrs spare to eat pancakes then for sure is right place!! ! Do not recommend at all

This place now defines "Dutch pancake" for me. If you're with a friend, get a "ham and cheese" along with the "apple almond" and go halvsies for taste of both the sweet and savory types. Great service, and you may need to be patient as they can only make so many at a time, but absolutely worth the wait.
The place is often overcrowded with a long queue outside. The pancakes are really tasty and satisfying. However, in my opinion the prices are not proportioned to the type of food offered and to the cost of the raw material.
Perfect place for breakfast or brunch. An expensive chouya but organic and vegan ingredients, and your plate is well stocked. Without forgetting the small keychain on leaving.
I went two times. One time I took America pancake which is totally bad. The second time I took Dutch pancake ( salty one ) and you can have gluten free option which is the better choice. The service is very slow during the rush hour so you have to be very well prepared for waiting for more than 30 mins to get your pancake. The staffs are not friendly at all maybe because it's too busy ! Overall with 3 stars is only cuz of the service and wrong America pancake.

There's probably going to be a wait but it's quite worth it. I had the camembert pancakes with chicory and raspberry sauce! Friend had the vege with pesto. Both were delicious!! Fresh ginger and lemon tea hit the spot on a cold day of walking around Amsterdam. (Tip: don't let the ginger sit in the water too long)

This is an amazing restaurant they have different flavors of delicious Pancakes. The staff are wonderful and happy to assist you. I went their for Breakfast and I order egg with Spanish, Banana with Nutella, apple with cinnamon
Excellent! Dear, but very good. More than 8 in basic price, but for that price we still have 3 pancakes with real chocolate melted, it goes very well.

I have celiac disease and eating there is impossible for me because their gluten free isnt really gluten free, its a lie. They do not know how and do not have the intelligence to really be gluten free, stay away if u have food allergies at all cost.
Very nice food but the place was a bit tiny. This resulted in people having to wait outside in heavy rain. Staff was friendly.

I was hoping to get the Dutch pancake on my trip to Amsterdam. Yup, this is the place I got it and it was fabulous! When my friend and I got there, there was a line but we only had to wait 5 min.
The cheese and ham pancake I ordered was crispy on the outside and moist inside. The ambiance was very nice, too. I highly recommend this place!!

Really such a shame! Won t be back here again. I used to visit this place every time I came to Amsterdam. The service was brilliant and there has always been a long queue.
I m well aware another 2 of these outlets have opened up around the old town and it seems like the owners are letting things slip hectically.
This time we were not greeted but stared at awkwardly when requesting a table. The two front of house staff were rude and almost looked hungover. My mother and I had coffees (to keep us warm and distracted while we waited outside.) When we were called in but had yet to finish our coffees we were told we can t bring them in and must go back outside.
In what world? It s the 21st century and you arnt prioritising service? A real shame to see such a special brand ruined in my eyes, I ve brought more than 50 people here over the years and this was my mums first visit.
Such a shame and what a pity. I ve always know the Dutch to be friendly, hospitable and kind. Not here! I do hope something s done and course corrected as I used to love visiting while I m in Amsterdam on business and leisure.

An historic building in a nice part of a beautiful historic city. Some garages are available at extra cost. Overall, a good base for your stay in Bruges.

First time I had the veggie savoury(which was nice) and the waiter was a bit abrupt but manageable. However, on a second visit the (same) waiter was incredibly short with me so I felt I had to leave as I was uncomfortable. The food is lovely but not worth feeling miserable to get it.
Great tasting dutch pancakes... many different options of toppings. Friendly staff and you get a great little commemorative item when you leave!!! Check it out.
Food poisoning incurred after a number of pancakes from this shop. Do not go here because the kitchen just does not work according to hygiene guidelines. I felt incredibly ill and recovered only after an infusion in the hospital. All in all an expensive pancake and it will take you seriously.

Update 1: This review is about their service and it is not about their food.
The Caucasian server who was tending tables at 1:00PM 25th October 18 was extremely rude towards us. When we inquired about empty tables, he blatantly refused to give us a table for two when clearly there were open tables upstairs. Then another server (man with a small beard) stopped by a few minutes later and accommodated us nicely towards over table. We sat and waited over good ten minutes when the previous server noticed us and indulged himself fixing empty tables here and there, re-adjusting cutlery, talking to his friend (who was NOT dining downstairs) and when I asked him if we can be served he rudely answered he is busy . I asked him we could start with at least water. Only reason we visited this establishment is because my wife had enjoyed food here years ago.
Amsterdam is a lovely place, I have interacted with nice folks here but clearly some people can t help themselves and tend to keep the element of racism alive.

Decent pancakes and nice coffee but quite slow service
My husband and I loved this place. It's a cute little restaurant and friendly fast service. We had the smoked salmon and the traditional bacon and cheese. Both were very tasty, but our favorite was the bacon and cheese. The smoked salmon is good too, just ask for less sour cream and guacamole, otherwise it's too saucy. And they only accept cash not credit.
Gluten free crepes!! It's not on the menu but they can do it :) just ask your server. Everything is delicious

With 3 outlets and a constant flow of people, you'd expect this place to be good. And it doesn't disappoint! Very yummy pancakes - the batter is just right and the amount of ingredients wasn't over the top, so you could still taste the pancake. We had the bacon, leek and mushroom, which was expected (always a good thing when you leave satisfied) as well as the camembert, chickory and ham and whoa, this was superb. The pancakes made our day.
Such a big serving. Do not make the same mistake my wife and I made. You can easily share one.
