On the pricey side, but service, drinks and food were great.
Cool Spot to chill - and watch the game, eat, & drinks
I went there on a Wednesday and the crowd was very vibrant and the bar was full of people
Bad layout and small but the atmosphere is great. Mixed crowd good music food and drinks. I'm a always here on Sundays for the NFL games and Tuesday's are great too.
The food was pretty good. I tried the El Supreme Bowl with Chipotle Chicken Breast. It came with an almost overwhelming number of different flavors that included Spanish rice, refritos blanco, corn relish, roasted salsa, spicy sweet chipotle, shredded lettuce, and topped with pasilla verde sauce, guajillo sauce, Mexican queso blend, and crema. It also included fresh guacamole and pico de gallo. Yeah, there's a lot going on there.
It was a cool place. Went for the 1st time. But the security who was suppose to check our I.D's was too busy talking instead of working. That's annoying then they had an atm machine that was broken so if you carry cash you can't get in.
Here's a tip. A lot of these types of establishments are accepting cards.
Hint hint
The night vibe is definitely for the college scene. The day restaurant is nice. Probably wouldn't go there at night again.
Always fun and great service . Free mamosas until 11
Dope crowd. Dope security. Dope bartenders. Dope indoor/outdoor vibes. Enough said?
$5 for a full breakfast, including all you can drink mimosas! Incredible deal
Great prices, great drinks, great service, great great great.
This place was super crowded, kinda hard to get a drink. The staff was cool, one of the bus boys want cracking jokes. The one thing that sucked is that they stop letting people in at 1:00am. So my group had to go down yo Legends. I'd come back again.
Playing with Volitude Volleyball. Love this place! Great drink and food specials!
Everything was great. Excellent Happy Hour deals. I highly recommend this spot
I so love this place it's my new place to go if I'm going to go out.
$5 entry fee, pretty crowded, and loud. Not my type of place to go.
First time there and the place is small. It was so crowded. Security were very friendly!
We arrived at this place and they had to see our IDs and they told us that we would not be able to enter this premises because my boyfriends short were too long and too baggy. And then the manger told us that we would go down the street to another bar. We will never return and I hope you lose a lot of business. This is no way to treat people. Just because we weren't white that's why they didn't let us in.
Outstanding personnel
Great drinks
This is my to-go spot for Taco Tuesdays. They do have special prices on tacos and drinks for Taco Tuesday. They also include a vegetarian option. I would also recommend their flan after chowing down on tacos.
Food is great, get quick service, and a great place to hang out with friends to enjoy a sports game.
Their Sunday brunch is great but otherwise the clientele they bring causes a lot of issues for the area.
Fun looking place and everyone was nice. Food and drinks were not very good.
My favorite place on 2nd St. Can't beat Happy Hour 2x1
Always great service on 2nd street! Nice indoor outdoor sidewalk patio.
They allow dogs inside the reataurant, which is already crowded, and it makes the vibe very unpleasant. Love dogs, but not in restaurants...maybe a patio or outdoor area.
Scan menus. Adapted well to pandemic guidelines. Outdoor seating. The food came out fast. Servers were attentive.
Service sucked, we waited 20 mins waiters walked by us and didnt even asked if we have been taken care of. We got up and walked away.
Was promptly seated on the deck...the tropical rum drinks and well prepared seafood tacos were excellent. Noticed lots of dogs (on leashes) were allowed in the restaurant which is okay for me...
A place that says "Cantina y Tequila" on the sign should make a kick ass margarita but I ordered the Cadillac and it was horrible. GF ordered lemonade, it was bad. My carne asada burrito was way more rice than steak and the chicken fingers appetizer was tiny. Open air atmosphere was nice but really just meant the flies got to join you for your meal. Cool atmosphere here, but everything else was mediocre at best.
Only a 4 star review because the waitress wasn't good. The food wad really good the people at the bar and the manager were very attentive.
Excellent Mexican food, with a lively atmosphere. Great place to watch the game. This place is packed on the weekends, when the restaurant turns into dance floor. Highly recommend to visitors of the Belmont Shore area of Long Beach!
Outdoor seating with ability to see screens. Still very crowded. Service a bit slow because of the spacing. Food is as good as can be expected. Dog friendly.
First time it was great food was awesome and service was even bettet
Great atmosphere during the day or night, close to the beach
The food was delicious. I had a carne asada quesedilla with pico de gallo, avocado and sour cream on the side. I like their house salsa and that's how I base if the food is going to be any good.....authentic tasting. Very good. I would have given the restaurant a 5 star but the music was so damn loud it was hard to carry on a conversation. Maybe that was the idea....don't talk, just eat.
Excellent atmosphere, lively music and good drinks.
Wish 2.5 was an option bc this place is definitely hit or miss. Depends on bartenders. Some are dismissive and others are great.
If you are into Happy Hour Specials, this is your spot. We ordered a pitcher of Margaritas and they brought two because the second is a penny. Good food also!
It's a nice little spot where you can hang out with your friends, listen to some music, and have some drinks. The best part is weekends when they have brunch with bottomless mimosas for one hour, and it's less than $6 bucks. I love this place!!
Not a bad place, was pretty busy and had a decent crowd. Food took a bit but was pretty good once it arrived
Can't beat the price for breakfast and people are friendly
Amazing place. Atmosphere food change everything is awesome
Great service really good food no too bad on the pockets
Great spot for just about any occasion! Diverse menu ranging from brunch to sitting at the bar for a Sunday game. Food is flavour packed and generously proportionate, with staff who are extremely friendly and accommodating.
Took staff awhile to acknowledge customers and when they did, they didn't seem like they liked their job. As time passed, we got a bartender, Clarissa, who seemed to have an attitude so we returned the drink we just ordered and left. The manager, Fabius, seemed to "delete the charge" instead of refunding it. So we will see come Tuesday...
The staff is fantastic! Friendly staff that are great at their job. The food is excellent. You cannot beat the weekend brunch! We come here often and are never disappointed.
If you like the vibe of Tijuana, go now! Otherwise, it's okay for some drinks and loud music.
Great service and considering it was a weekday, good relaxing atmosphere.
Discriminated 3 times ....once with Superbowl reservations made 2 weeks in advance and for 20 guests.... everybody went in but the organizer ...ME... I've been a bodyguard escort translator bouncer u name it... and the ridiculous excuse was "your military I'd is fake" when I ask what makes this young 20 something year old think was fake... he told me "trust me bruh I've been doing this for 6 years" ... same excuse same despotic attitude ... 3 times in 3 different years.... I did not want to go back but some DUMB friends did not listen and wanted to celebrate a birthday there .... if you can't respect Vets then I'm not giving you my business.
Love it awesome host and restaurant, definitely returning.
Music wack depending on the day. one of those straight, thirsty "girls free, guys pay" clubs. Older crowd, alternative rock and not enough space to dance. Drinks coo tho
Great restaurant in a great location. Not far from the cruise port in Belmont shores.
Let's just say I enjoyed my experience in the spirit of confidentiality!!
Lots of TVs with all the sports and decent drink deals before 7pm. Sure the place has a bro-ey, hungover vibe, but the food is consistently better than the price indicates. The staff get in the weeds at times but they are good folks, especially the servers and hosts. Go for one of their daily food specials(weekend morning brunch deal, Monday fajitas, Tuesday tacos, all well under $10), and you will be pleasantly surprised. Awesome fresh chips and salsa with self serve on the bar side. The place turns into a douchey night club around 10. Not a fan of that smoke machine setup, but some people really seem to like it. Also, usually someone is puking nearby starting from around 1pm on football days. If you can overlook that stuff you can get really good food at bargain prices.
So bad, just called them to find out about the happy hours price and the girl said...
We cant give you the price over the phone, I said well I'm cant take my party there once I don't know the prices ...and then....wow.... she said ..."too bad" .... hahahhahaha wow
One of my favorite bars they have great drink specials and the staff is pretty cool, the crowd is very diverse and it's a great time
Love this place. Taco Tuesdays are amazing weekends are great for dancing as well..
