It's a great place to grab a drink and some good food.

Service was so slow... Time went backwards . Average taste... Average service. Decor was cool

Wonderful place. Food is excellent and generous portions and the staff is always friendly. Nice patio to bring your dogs.

My friend and I went on Saturday, 11/17/18 to Panama Joe's. But we weren't allowed inside. The gentleman at the front door, a black male in his mid 30s asked us for our IDs and we complied. I pulled mine out and my friend was pulling out her ID and in the middle of explaining that she had just gone to the DMV earlier that day and had her old ID and the new DMV receipt, however he cut her off and said, "Unfortunately, we won't be able to let you in. It looks like you've already had too much, and the night ends here."

I was very confused, we had just stepped out of our Lyft, the night was just about to begin. Neither one of us was drunk, I'm not sure how our actions were misconstrued as being drunk. We were both standing upright, we were both alert, and we weren't being loud. We're both under 5'2", we're small women and it would be hard for us to be loud. There was a couple behind us, and the guy left us so embarrassed that we said okay and turned away. There would be no point in arguing, I'm sure that any type of questioning would be misinterpreted as 'they were being belligerent' so we just left. He turned away two paying customers.

So we soberly walked to another restaurant and spent our evening and money there.

I still don't understand what we may have done to come off as sloppy or inebriated. Other than rubbing my arms because it was chilly, I wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary. And my friend and I were quietly chatting seconds before approaching the door, it's not as if we were climbing bus benches or loudly joking. The only other aspect is that I'm a Hispanic, brown-skinned woman. My friend is a white woman. The gentleman at the front may just be racist and not want brown-skinned people inside of a Mexican cantina to ruin the aesthetic.

We'll comply with your wishes and we won't visit again.

Love this place. Great prices, great food, great drinks, and great service. Never had a problem here.

Customer service was beyond unfriendly. They were extremely rude . Apparently there is a a time limit which is fine but when a random employee ( not my server) walks up and say your time is up you gotta go! As he stands there waiting for you to get up . I was taken back . My first and last time .

In the 90mins I was there other customers had issues with different employees it was ridiculous.

There was a cover on a Saturday that I didn't mind. But the music was terrible. One minute the would play something hip to get the crowd going. Then they would play something random like Madonna. Then play Usher then go to ACDC. Very random songs that completely throws off any vibe.

Bar service sucks very rude female bartenders I just wanted one drink and it took 35 mins to finally get a drink because they were clearly ignoring me for whatever reason while taking other customers orders I will never go to this bar again I just wanted to celebrate my good friends bday

You can always come here for a good time every night of the week. Drinks are on the expensive side for a bar but a good time

The service was terrible, I think this place is for drinking not for dining. The food was what you would expect, nothing good but nothing bad either.

Awesome place, food is great, bar staff is great, waitress and waiters are great, just one thing gets a little crowded in the bar area but if you don t mind that, then you are good.

Great place to go in the heart of bealmont shore's fabulous 2nd street. Great burritos and as always, fresh chips & salsa. I wish they offered an awesome breakfast burrito.

I've been coming here for years. The food is good but they don't start serving lunch until 2 or 3! You have to order off the limited brunch menu before that time. Too bad... They have some yummy stuff on the lunch menu and I would come more often. Looking for a new Mexican restaurant in my area.

I know this is a place many come at night to party but it is also a great place to come during the day to day drink. The specials they have always come through. I had the Dodgers Michelada and it was delicious. Had all the football games on the TVs so I didn t miss anything. Great place to come and get yourself a drink during the day

Bar service has to be one of the worst I've seen. Prices are good but the bad service doesn't make it worth it.

Tacos are good when they're discounted on tuesdays, the drinks are kind of weak and expensive.

Great food, drinks were tasty but not strong and music was a perfect mix of current and Latin music. Overall great experience. Parking wasn't too bad either.

I always stop in when Selling Real Estate near second Street and Celebrating with their outagous Margaritas is always perfect.

The only thing I kind of have to say is that breakfast starts at noon. But so does happy Hour. Free endless refills on mimosas can't get any better than that. I just tried out to breakfast but it was really delicious.

Weird rules cant wear local team jersey if they don't play that day,, drinks wernt filled to the tip.

door staff can't manage to keep headcount under control, and the bar staff can't figure out how to service a crowd. this place could be great - but it feels more like the home of a teenager who's parents are out of town.

This spot has become our Sunday Brunch and Monday Night Football stop. The food and drinks are great, but the service is exceptional. Jerry, the gentleman that we request as our server, is phenomenal. We do. It need to ask for much, as he is always on top of it. He is incredibly friendly, and remembers the things that have been discussed in the past. While we enjoy the food and drinks, the service that Jerry gives is the main reason that we keep coming back. Thank you very much Jerry for making every experience at Panama Joe's an awesome one!!!

Very loud, very busy, mediocre food. But, seems to be a very happening place on Friday night for those into that thing. Service was good despite being busy. On street parking was easy to find.

Great place if you want to dance and drink, only issue is the crowed. 5 stars for the happy hour. Good drinks. Overall its good.

Popular place on sundays for football, authentic mexican bites with ambitious twists on some of the classics. Amazing happy hour on the weekdays. GET HERE EARLY, if you plan on watching any major sporting event.

Just finished up dinner here. Our service with Jerry(?) was excellent. The food was great, and the bar looked like a lot of fun.. I will definitely be visiting again.

Over easy eggs came out well done and we were sat in a pool of syrup even though we told the staff.

I went with my partner and we ordered the quesadilla and the nachos off their happy hour menu along with some cocktails and I must say the food was very good! Their happy hour menus features good food at a cheap price! Am looking forward to coming back again.

It was great good drinks for good price place very clean and staff and bartender's very cool and nice first time and I would visit again...

I didn't get the chance to visit this place because I had red eyes. The people in front of the club were being prejudice(haters). My first and last visit. Worst 3 minutes of my trip to Long Beach.
