Great place to hold events and great music. Great staff

I wouldn't come here for the food. The nightlife is young, crowded, and fun.

Friendly staff, good place to hangout and enjoy a brew.

Decent enough, can't guarantee they won't play smashmouth and soujaboi after 11 pm. The bathroom is upstairs and it's quicker to be spider man and web sling to the 2nd story than go up those tiny stairs.

Great bar. Can be a little ghetto but lots of fun and the bar tenders pour a great stiff drink

It was a ok experience you have to walk up to the bar to order and pay for your food which to me was kinda weird

Haven't patronized much since new ownership. Place used to rock it on the food and late nite entertainment. Many in area sad to see that go. :) it will never be the same..ever. It was am era. Having said that...drinks we had were great...their tostada really was disappointing. My mates burger was awfully greasy. I have had an array of their appetizers...that were very good.

Now I want to, Y'all, where will you locate a happy hour where beverages are, buy one get one for 25 cents? Yes, you heard me! And, it is best if you include a double shot, um hum, I guarantee you'll be feeling your self after having a few drinks, honey!

I had been introduced into Panama Joe's by a few of my very best buddies. He insisted that we head to happy hour before I departed Long Beach. I took him up on his offer and came in the restaurant directly during happy hour. They don't just offer you a contemporary setting to hang out and watch sports while catching a snack plus drink but also have fantastic specials during the week. The best part is these great old' margarita beverages. Whoa!

Panama Joe's provides a two-sided restaurant: a pub side and dining room. In the dining room, all appetizers are half off. From the bar area, you receive the food and beverages, with the free chips and dinner pub! We headed into the bar area and indulged in their own free chips and salsa. We had the joy of meeting with the beautiful Mallory who took our order in the pub and was so agreeable! We purchased fish tacos, the wings (tastes include buffalo, Spicy Habanero( and dry).

-Mondays: By open to close-Enjoy Flaming Fajitas on Sizzlin' Skillets.
-Tuesday: Taco Tuesday (Mix and Match your own tacos). Panama Joes is absolutely a place to chill and unwind after a hectic workday. I'd definitely be back when I'm in the region!

They are a racist white bar i tried to get a table and the bouncer was an ass..le only because I was speaking Spanish on my cell waited 20 minutes with empty seats on the table left after 20 minutes

Love this place, the atmosphere is great, the music is great, and there's a wide selection of drinks! Definitely the spot to be when you're in Long Beach!

I just moved to Belmont Shore a few months ago. This neighborhood has an incredible amount of good bars and restaurants. This is not one of them. It's so loud that you can't hear the person you're with. It seemingly attracts the worst type of people, mostly non local. This past weekend I saw a huge pile of puke on their sidewalk - it was 3PM. I've also seen people being kicked out a few times while it's still light out. The place is an unfortunate stain on the neighborhood.

This past Friday, I was walking from another bar to my apartment with my girlfriend and another couple. As we cut through the public lot across the street, a guy approached us and started interrogating us asking how much we drank and where we were going. It was a worker from Panama Joe's. We weren't even in there, yet I guess they overserve so many people that they feel the need to question anyone walking in the area even if they were responsibly drinking at another establishment. How about instead you train your employees on how not to overserve, Panama Joe's?

My girlfriend came here for brunch with her girlfriends a few weeks ago. I told her it was probably going to suck. Surprise, it sucked. She said food wasn't good and the service was horrible.

If you're between the ages of 21-25 and enjoy being with other people that can't handle their booze while deafening music blasts, then this is the place for you. If you're past 25 and are in denial about your age, this place is probably great for you too. Otherwise, I suggest going to any other place in Belmont Shore.

Good Margaritas and the food is ok, our fish and Shrimp tacos were a little on the greasy side.

Just moved into the area from the east coast and was looking for a place to eat and get a drink with my girlfriend on a Friday. The guy at the front door started heckling me for no reason. Won't even try to walk in there with rude people like that

This place is distasteful. Any place that has the nerve to kickout a marine who served this country honorably for 6 years deserves to go out of business. Joe Sedino is a prick who takes his job to seriously. Its security like you that make me want to leave your place and spend my money where I am welcomed and appreciated. Oh and by the way, if my workers were not dishing out receipts for every transaction, as an owner and management I would be deeply concerned.

I've been there numerous times and without fail I have had to wait quite a long time for my food to come out. Where as Sharkeez is a smaller establishment, smaller kitchen owned by the same people but get their food out with a quickness. I don't enjoy going in there much unless with friends.

I probably would have given this place five stars as I really enjoyed the happy hour. I was a little put off by the fact that there was no service for drinks in the bar area other than stepping up to the bar and asking the only bartender waiting on 20 people to get me a drink. If you re going to have a step up bar you should at least clear a spot so patrons know where to stand to be waited on.

This is an epic weekend spot for all kinds of fun. Dancing, bumping and grinding, giant beer pong and everyone's favorite, who can get a drink.

Went there for the first time this summer, and I was glad i did the food was good, great atmosphere, good prices and an endless amount of chips and salsa.

I just celebrated my birthday here today with our party of 20 and we celebrated my husband's 40th birthday here in October and we had a blast!!! Awesome breakfast! I got a free birthday shot, which out does ice cream with a candle on top by far! My contact lense fell out of my eye and when I put it back in I forgot my fingers where covered in lime juice from the Margarita's. Needless to say 'eye' was in agony. The host Ray came to the rescue with a bottle of contact solution he quickly got from his car. I also left my kids mini dominos on the table and I called back and Sean there said they have them & are holding them for me. I went back and Ryan went out of his way to find them for me. He gave me a gift card when he couldn't find them and had me write down my number in case they showed up. He text me later that night and said he found them and locked them in a cabinet. When I went back to get them they were packaged nicely and Ryan said I could still keep the gift card. Hands down the best place to have parties that everyone will be talking about for years to come. There is parking in back and I'm attaching a picture of the meter. The only thing I would suggest is improving on the wait time to receive ordered food, but I would like to add most people that eat there are not in any hurry to leave. Great place to chill, unwind & have a laugh.

The experience was fun, especially for first-timers. This place is trendy in the sense that they have great food and a fun, laid-back atmosphere. Their breakfast special and vegetarian selection are a favorite with everyone.

Had a terrible experience here. As soon as you walk in, it feels like they want you to leave. I promise you the bouncers will abuse you (extra touchy on the girls). Come here if you want to get shoved and pushed by the service all night long.

Hello my name is Donna and I am African American woman I'm saying that in the beginning for a reason you will see in a few why that was important Today I had to come into tBank of America in Belmont shores but when I came out the bank about 4:30 my car would not start. I was here from out of town from Nevada I knew no one around me no one to asked for help then all of a sudden a man came down the sidewalk, he was wearing a cap that said make america great again but that did not stop him from helping me and give me some direction. He and his wife was very helpful he said although my car is new and I don't have jumper cables, but if you go into Panama JoeS the people in there are very nice and they're very friendly they will help you find someone to give you a jump. I did exactly what he said once I approached the podium ask what the specials were. I was greeted by Leslie I told her what my situation was she said we will help you. she then informed Arlen who then asked Jason R between the 3 of them they got together Jason R called a roommate to make sure they had jumper cables because my car would not start and I had none.
But in the meantime I had the carny asadah tacos I have a top shelf Margarita into round my day out the 3 of those guys Leslie Arlene and Jason R finish my day out by helping me get my car started the morrow of the story is don't judge people from the outside don't just people at all just because the man was a trump supporter did not mean you do not have a heart he was very helpful and I could see if he could a start my car is self he would have .I'm just glad I was there and he was there because I was able to get the car started thanks the Panama Joe's caribg and helpful staff I definitely made some friends i found a great place to eat I am very thankful grateful and blessed thank you everyone

Drinks are expensive. Turns into a gay bar at night.

Basically a Baja Sharkeez, which I am okay with. Taco Tuesdays are always a hit. Good open air atmosphere. Friendly staff and good food. Nothing to send it over the top and get 5 stars, but definitely worth the trip.

Made it before the cover charge time and they still wanted to charge me. I don't know why a sports bar would have a cover charge, good brunch deals though

Parking is meter and packed.. limited space. Street parking tight. Cover $$ past 6 if band playing. Place is packed. Bartenders are pretty fast. Beer on tap limited. Overall Great experience. Tight squeeze...

Now this place is freaking cool you can get a $5 breakfast and it is good quality food great environment to watch surfing rugby baseball football you name it it's a good place for a weekend brunch or breakfast I've been going there for 39 years

Ryan is the best bartender! Their chicken taquitos are so bomb, the staff is always on point and sometimes they have where you can build you own bloody mary/michelada.

It was very crowded on Sunday but I liked the warm chips & salsa bar, you help yourself too

And the vibe is pretty bad.

1st time, definitely won't be my last! I totally dug the atmosphere! Good wings, wifey loved the shrimp tacos (taco tuesday both grilled and fried) and buy 1 get one free on select drinks! Would highly recommend for singles and groups!
