Palmetto Builders Review

Capital Roofing recently replaced our shingles and did an excellent job on a very old house. They use higher quality underlayment and also meticulously made sure they sealed the valleys where we ve had issues in the past.

The men who installed the new roof were very polite and extremely hard working. We felt obliged to give them each a small bonus for working so hard through the heat of the day.

Ivan, their Project Manager, contacted us quickly and came for a site visit the next day. He kept in touch throughout the project and made sure we were happy with the job.

Capital Roofing provided us with a very timely, professional and quality experience. You couldn t ask for more.

I can not say enough good things about Capital Palmetto Builders. Ivan and his team were very professional, walked us through the whole process and answered the many questions we had. Before we began the process of getting a new roof and seamless gutters we did our due diligence and contacted two other companies along with Capital Palmetto Builders. After meeting with the other two roofing companies there was no doubt that we were going with Capital, and I m so glad we did! The roof and seamless gutters looks absolutely amazing and the crew did a very detailed clean up of all roofing debris and nails that were on the ground before they left. My Insurance company conveniently dropped me after a minor claim because unbenounced to me, most of my neighborhood had been affected by hail damage and were filing claims for repairs. Capital Palmetto Builders just replaced our entire roof and we are very satisfied. Ours was a large roof and we have 12/18 pitch (very steep) on a large section as well as an octagonal gazebo with 12/36 pitch. It was a very challenging roof and it looks great now. We made a special request for the crew to do everything they could to save my wife's flower gardens which stretch all the way in front of the house. Her Star Gazer lilies were just coming in to bloom and they are gorgeous. Project manager Tom Harkness promised us they would save the flowers and the crew did a great job working around her flowers. I would recommend them to anyone.

I was in need of a new roof not sure where to start asked friend s for help I was given this name. The guy that was going to come to my house was late I had to call the company to find out why. He came another day was at my house for 5 minutes never went on the roof, took pictures from the yard! His name was Alex. He was going to e mail my husband a quote on the price never heard back from them . I called yesterday to tell someone my concerns and never got a call back. Again I had to call them!! I would not recommend this company at all!!!! Still in need of a roof but they will not be getting my business

They came on time every day and THEY WORKED!!! They put siding on my parents house and my parents are extremely satisfied with the outcome. My mom insisted I leave this review because even my daddy was impressed with price, quality, and professionalism. Both the workers and Alex were 5 star top notch. My mom was impressed that Alex came out and inspected the work himself and made sure she was satisfied before the final payment was collected. We had one question during instillation about materials delivered from the warehouse. Alex was very responsive, showed up at the site within a few minutes, and had the problem corrected immediately. The incident occurred 6/20/19, and I needed someone to put a tarp over my roof. Alex was the only one who came over Friday and immediately went to work covering the roof with tarp. He's courteous and prompt and will contact you immediately if you have any concerns/issues. Definitely will recommend.

After Tom Harkness and his crew completed replacing our roof, we couldn't be happier. The roof looks great. His crew did a wonderful job; they were professional, knowledgeable and very courteous. From the moment we reached out to the company for an estimate to the completion of the job we have experienced nothing but the best. Alex met with the insurance adjuster on our behalf, helped us pick out the shingles and even assisted in pushing our motorcycle into the garage. All this happened within a span of one week. While cleaning up we realized that one of the guys even secured a plant stand back onto the railing of the deck. We worked in our back yard yesterday and did not find one nail left behind. I had to write this review because the experience I had with this company went far beyond my expectations. Mr Rodrigo Mera was great they work with you, making you feel relax and knowing the job they do will be done right. I must say the work they did on my roof surpass my greatest expectations. My roof looked better then the roof that was there when I had my home build. I would rec amen them to anyone who is in need of a roof repair job.

As a landowner/landlord of 6 houses and my personal home I was blessed to find Capital Palmetto in October 2019. I was in a situation and I needed good help. I called them and they responded immediately. Mr. Alex personally came and evaluated my issue and was courteous and professional. I felt secure with them. They replaced my roof around September of 2016. They did a great job; everything was completed within one (1) business day. They cleaned up after the job was finished, and they demonstrated professionalism. However, when I called them to tell them my roof started leaking about two weeks ago, around my fireplace, I was told my warranty had expired. They are not going to repair it, nor or they going to review the roof to see if MAYBE they did something incorrectly that may be causing the leak.

I'm writing this review to remind the consumer to please read the contract in it's entirety prior to using their services. They only guarantee their work for up to three (3) years. Had I done my due diligence prior to signing the contract, I would have used another roofing company. Originally, I gave them an outstanding review; but that was when they initially did the job..... I've learned an expensive lesson.

Andrew and his team recently completed my roof replacement. Our roof was damaged via hail last year. These guys were extremely professional & courteous. From tearing off the old, replacing a lot of rotten plywood, re-roofing & cleanup. Andrew closely supervised the process and communicated everything with our insurance company. GREAT COMPANY - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Our roof was 20+ years old and needed to be replaced. After getting quotes from two other companies in Lexington, we decided to go with Capital Palmetto Builders for several reasons. The price that this company gave us was by far the best one. Alex (the sales rep) suggested the best color for the shingles based on the brick and the shutters of our home (the other companies left it up to me to pick the color of the shingles, and provided no suggestions whatsoever). Thanks to Alex s suggestion now our house looks gorgeous with the new, darker roof. Jennifer (in the office) was also a pleasure to deal with, and always treated me with a smile.
My biggest compliments would go to the crew of guys that actually installed the roof. Jorge and the other two roofers (did not catch their names) worked non-stop for almost 2 days, and did not even take a break to have lunch. The roof was installed on probably the two coldest days that we have had so far this year. The old shingles were completely frozen when Jorge and his crew were trying to scrape them off our roof, but the ice did not even stop these guys. They worked so hard, they were so polite and respectful, the cleaned after themselves and even raked my yard! I cannot say enough positive things about them. Several crew chiefs (Lalo, Alex and others) stopped by our house several times to make sure that the complete roof installation was going right.
My husband and I are extremely picky, but we did not find a single issue to complain about. Now we have a brand new roof, our house looks great, and we have found a reliable company that we will be using again and again for years to come. Thank you so much, Alex!

Mr. Lalo assessed the water damage I had from the roof and fireplace. Walked me through the process of roof replacement and had my roof replace right away. I am very happy with Fireplace removal and roof replacement. At the end they left front and back area very clean.

I called Capital Palmetto Builders on Memorial Day; I tried about four other local roofing comapnies before calling them. I couldn't get anyone to come and repair emergecy roof damage, but these guys took my call and came out within and hour!

I was needing help with materials for my home for shutters on windows and not able to find material anywhere. I spoke to the nicest, most professional and courteous young lady Jennifer, who went out of her way to help me . Not only did she return calls, and text me back ,she contacted Mr. Wayne another most wonderful man who found what I needed, left it for me to pick up and I can never thank them enough for their help. Capital Palmetto Builders did a great job for me and my home in Forest Acres. They replaced 17 single-pane windows with energy efficient double-pane windows. They also installed 6" gutters around my entire home. Additionally, they replaced all the old soffit fascia and frieze boards with new vinyl soffit, fascia and frieze boards. Lastly, they renovated my screen porch and also installed a staircase off the back porch into the backyard. Highly recommend and extremely pleased with the work. We will use them again.

Capital Palmetto Builders is a knowledgeable and reputable business. Initially we asked them for an estimate to replace the old gutters on our home. Alex Rodriguez, President and CEO, came by to look at the gutters and noticed wind damage to the shingles on our roof. Although the roofing was not our original concern, we contacted our insurance company, and a claims agent came by to inspect the roof with Alex. The claims agent agreed with Alex's assessment, and a claim was filed and approved which paid the for entire roof to be replaced. That might not have happened without the experience of someone like Alex. The quality and workmanship of the gutters and roofing was top notch, and really improved the appearance of our house. Alex and his team are personable and easy to work with. He stayed in touch with us while work was being conducted to discuss any issues that came up, and he followed up to make sure we were satisfied after all of the work was completed. I am very pleased with the work they performed.

Lalo and his crew did a great job on the siding/ leaking chimney at my house. The repairs look great and the price was reasonable. Lalo also went above and beyond to repair the rotted wood and paint the interior as well. Capital Palmetto Builders is truly a five star company.
